In a conversation with Telly Talk India, Bharti Singh addressed the rumours about her possibly expecting a second child. She humorously explained that her stomach looked a bit bloated because she had eaten kadhi chawal that day. She joked that people often assume she's pregnant whenever she wears sarees or certain outfits on Laughter Chefs. 'Us din maine kadhi chawal khaya huye the toh pet thoda bada lag raha tha isliye. Haan Laughter Chefs main bhi kabhhi maine saree wagerah pehni hoti hai toh aap log kehte hain Bharti is pregnant. Yaar, aapke mooh main ghee shakkar jo ye news daalte hain." (That day, I had eaten kadhi chawal, so my stomach looked a bit bloated. Even on Laughter Chefs, when I wear sarees or certain outfits, people start saying, 'Bharti is pregnant')."
When asked whether they are planning a second child, Bharti did confirm that she and her husband, Haarsh Limbachiyaa, have been discussing the possibility of expanding their family. She mentioned that they are thinking about it and planning to go away for a while to spend time together now that Laughter Chefs has ended. 'Haan hum log soch rahe hai. Hum jaane wale bhi hain kahi, kyunki ghar main seetiya bajti rehti hai cooker ki – kitchen main. Toh hum chahte hai ki Laughter Chefs ab khatam ho gaya toh chahte hain ki Main aur Harsh ek doosre ko time dein. (Yes, we are thinking about it. In fact, we're planning to go away somewhere soon because the pressure cooker at home is constantly whistling, in the kitchen, of course! Now that Laughter Chefs has wrapped up, we want to spend more time together, just the two of us)."
She humorously added, 'Matlab bachcha bhi saath main jayega. Nanny bhi saath main jayegi, house help bhi saath main jayenge – Pandey bhi sath main jayega, usme bhi bachcha plan karein hum. (Well, the child will come along too… and the nanny… and the house help… even Pandey will be there! Maybe somewhere in the middle of all that, we'll make a plan for the baby)."
Meanwhile, in April, Bharti Singh addressed a fan's question about her pregnancy with her signature humour. She clarified that she isn't pregnant at the moment but revealed plans to try for a second baby in 2025, calling it the 'right time."
Bharti and Haarsh tied the knot on December 3, 2017, in a dreamy destination wedding in Goa. Haarsh, a comedy show scriptwriter, had been working with Bharti for over seven years before love blossomed. They welcomed their baby boy, Laksh, fondly called Golla, on April 3, 2022.
