Mohamed Salah has been named as the Premier League Player of the Month for a record-equalling seventh time.
Salah has moved level with Harry Kane and Sergio Aguero as a seven-time winner of the monthly award, following a brilliant February for Liverpool.
The Egyptian international scored six goals and provided four assists in the month, to extend his lead as the Premier Leagues's leading scorer and assist provider this season.

Salah saw off competition from Everton forward Beto, Crystal Palace's Jean-Philippe Mateta, Brighton winger Yankuba Minteh, Tottenham full-back Djed Spence and Liverpool teammate Dominik Szoboszlai to take the prize.
The 32-year-old's award is his second of the campaign, having also picked up November's accolade. He previously won the Premier League Player of the Month award in November 2017, February 2018, March 2018, October 2021, and October 2023.
His record-equalling seventh award continues a season of milestones for Salah. His 44 goal involvements in the Premier League this season are a joint-record in a 38-game season, with nine games still to go.
Last week, he netted his 183rd and 184th goals in the Premier League to move up to joint-fifth in the all-time scorers list. Level with Sergio Aguero, the duo are the highest-scoring overseas players in the league's history.

Ravens' John Harbaugh on White House visit with Trump: 'I root for our president'

OWINGS MILLS, Md. (AP) — Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh described his recent visit with President Donald Trump as simply another great opportunity to meet a chief executive. Harbaugh and several family members — including his brother, Los Angeles Chargers coach Jim Harbaugh — were invited to the White House earlier this month. John Harbaugh talked about the trip after practice Wednesday. In 2019, while lashing out at U.S. Rep. Elijah Cummings, Trump tweeted that the Democrat's Baltimore district was a 'disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess' where 'no human being would want to live.' Harbaugh was asked about the decision to visit the White House in light of some of Trump's comments about the Ravens' home city. 'How you framed that question — I would have framed that question like: 'You got a chance to go visit with the president, man. What was that experience like?'' Harbaugh said. 'It was amazing. It was awesome. And I promise you I root for our president. I want our president to be successful just like I want my quarterback to be successful and I want my team to be successful, and it was an amazing experience.' John Harbaugh conceded that Jim Harbaugh has met more presidents than him. 'He's got seven, I got four. I had a chance to meet President Obama twice — incredible experience. Had a chance to meet President Biden when he was vice president in Iraq, and spent a lot of time with him in Iraq," he said. "Jim got invited also to the White House to meet President Reagan because he was a Heisman Trophy candidate. We got to go as a family, so I met President Reagan — have a picture in my office of that.' ___ AP NFL:

Patriots fans excited for new chapter as training camp kicks off

Football is officially back, and fans are showing up in full force to support the New England Patriots as training camp kicked off at Gillette Stadium on Wednesday. Among the those in attendance was lifelong Patriots fan Kayla Bogue, who traveled from South Carolina to celebrate her birthday at her first-ever training camp. "It is very exciting," she said. "It has been very fun and it's my first time here." Under the hot July sun, the energy was high, and the stands were packed. The turf may have been scorching, but the heat didn't stop dedicated fans from soaking in every moment and getting a glimpse of their favorite players up close. With Patriots legend Mike Vrabel now leading the team as head coach and quarterback Drake Maye beginning his highly anticipated second season, fans tell WBZ there is a lot to be excited about. "I think they definitely make the playoffs this year," said Patriots fan Ken Ivarone. "They had a lot of good acquisitions this offseason, and Drake Maye, his second year, I think he is going to break out." For young athletes like Joseph Folco, attending camp was about more than just cheering from the sidelines, it was a chance to learn. "I'm excited to watch the practice and see the quarterback drills because I've been working on my quarterback skills over the summer," Folco said. Beyond football, the day was about making memories, and as the Patriots begin a new chapter with fresh faces and renewed hope, one thing is clear: New England fans are ready for football.
