Norwegian Cruise Line strengthens lineup of immersive cruises
When I chose to sail with Norwegian Cruise Line for the first time 15 years ago after cruising with other lines, my decision wasn't about the ship or deals the cruise line offered.
As I compared cruise options from Miami, what stood out to me about Norwegian was its itineraries. I'd already cruised to some of the most frequently visited destinations in The Bahamas and Caribbean with other cruise lines, and for my next cruise in the region, I wanted a sailing that would take me to more unique ports. And I found that with Norwegian. Now, 15 years later, I'm fresh off the most port-immersive cruise I've taken yet — an 11-day Mediterranean sailing to bucket-list destinations on Norwegian Breakaway — and I'm more impressed than ever with the way Norwegian curates its cruise itineraries.
Combine well-planned, appealing itineraries with cruise ships that offer a wide range of onboard activities, entertainment, and dining options for every type of cruiser, and you've got a vacation that can feel both adventurous and effortless at once.
With its newly released lineup of spring and summer 2027 cruise itineraries, Norwegian Cruise Line is reinforcing its commitment to high-quality cruise vacations that make it easy to explore the world.

Norwegian's 2027 cruise itineraries offer more time in top ports
Whether you're looking for a quick tropical escape or a longer journey to bucket-list destinations, Norwegian Cruise Line's newest itineraries offer you seemingly endless choices to make the most of a spring or summer break.
Norwegian's spring/summer 2027 cruise season features more than 500 individual voyages across 20 ships, departing from nearly 30 of the world's top home ports, including Miami; Seattle; New York City; Southampton, England, and Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy.
From April through October 2027, the cruise line's fleet will call to more than 150 unique ports across 59 countries on immersive itineraries offering more time in port. The season includes more than 170 overnight stays in sought-after destinations such as Istanbul; Reykjavik, Iceland; and Royal Naval Dockyard, Bermuda. Most new Norwegian Caribbean cruises call to two private islands
On nearly every Caribbean and Bahamas cruise in Norwegian's spring/summer 2027 lineup, vacationers can visit both of the cruise line's popular private islands, Great Stirrup Cay in The Bahamas and Harvest Caye in Belize.
Great Stirrup Cay, which is already the cruise line's top-rated port in The Bahamas, will soon offer passengers even more to enjoy during their beach day. Norwegian is in the process of enhancing the island with new features, including a pier that will eliminate tendering to shore. New Norwegian cruise ship will sail to Bermuda in 2027
The season also includes a variety of Bermuda cruise options from New York City, Boston, and Philadelphia. Following her inaugural season of Caribbean cruises, new Prima Plus Class ship Norwegian Luna will move to New York City in April 2027 to begin a season of five- to seven-day Bermuda voyages. Norwegian Breakaway will also sail Bermuda cruises in spring/summer 2027 from Boston, while Norwegian Pearl offers them from Philadelphia.
Additionally, both Norwegian Breakaway and Norwegian Pearl will sail Canada and New England cruise itineraries from Aug. 29, 2027 to Oct. 17, 2027 to immerse passengers the scenic Northeast where they can admire the fall foliage, enjoy fresh, local seafood, and sample regional wines.

Norwegian will offer more port-intensive cruises in Europe in 2027
For its Europe cruises, Norwegian is shifting to more seven-day sailings, and in 2027, the cruise line will sail mostly seven-day Europe cruise itineraries that begin and end on weekends. Passengers can choose from eight Norwegian cruise ships, including some of its newest and recently renovated, sailing from 10 popular embarkation ports across Europe, including Barcelona, Spain; Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy; Athens (Piraeus), Greece; and Reykjavik, Iceland.
Port-intensive voyages, Norwegian's 2027 Europe cruises will spend more than 90% of their time in port with an average stay of nearly 11 hours and feature multiple overnight stays in cities like Istanbul; Copenhagen, Denmark; and Hamburg, Germany, as well as late-night departures from favorites like Santorini, Greece; Dubrovnik, Croatia; and Ibiza, Spain.Norwegian's 2027 Alaska cruises offer adventurous coolcations
For those looking for a summer 'coolcation,' Norwegian's 2027 Alaska cruise season offers a variety of seven-, nine-, and 10-day itineraries from Seattle on ships that were custom-built to immerse passengers in the beauty of the Last Frontier.
The season also includes unique open-jaw voyages between Vancouver, British Columbia and Whittier, Alaska on Norwegian Jade. These itineraries offer scenic cruising along iconic Hubbard Glacier or Glacier Bay on each voyage, and give passengers more options for pre- and post-cruise exploration in the region.Adventurous cruisers can also find exotic open-jaw journeys in the Pacific in 2027, where Norwegian Spirit will sail from Sydney, Australia; Lautoka, Fiji; Papeete, French Polynesia, and Honolulu, offering a total of 11 immersive itineraries across the region. For most of the season, Norwegian Spirit will sail 11- to 13-day Southern Pacific voyages, calling to exotic destinations such as New Caledonia, Fiji, the Samoan Islands, French Polynesia, and the Cook Islands.

Man Wants to Exclude His Brother from Cousins' Trip Because He ‘Needlessly Complicates' Logistics
His post sparked debate on a popular Reddit forumNEED TO KNOW A man says that his brother always 'needlessly complicates' group trips Because of this, he decided to exclude him from a group chat about 2027 vacation logistics for a trip he's organizing with his cousins The man shared his story on a popular Reddit forum, where people were divided over whether he made the right callA man says he plans to exclude his brother from a group cousins' trip — but he's not entirely sure it's the right thing to do. The man detailed his situation on the popular Reddit forum 'Am I the A------?,' a place where Reddit users can go to seek advice about interpersonal dilemmas. In his post, he explained that his brother 'always needlessly complicates things for the family whenever we plan things.' He explained that he is currently attempting to plan 'an all-inclusive' cousins' trip at a resort for 2027 and said that all of the cousins are on board for the resort idea... with the exception of his brother and his brother's partner, who would prefer to do a cruise. 'A few of my cousins were okay with doing a cruise, but half of us didn't want to do it, and one of our cousins said she wouldn't come if we did [...] it,' the original poster said. The Redditor said that his brother then suggested hotels or an Airbnb instead of a resort and that he 'wanted to set up a joint bank account so it would make everyone obligated to put money into the fund to prove they were really going on the trip.' The man went on to say that he suspects his brother — who is currently unemployed — is attempting to cut potential costs. However, he also thinks his brother's suggestions are 'unnecessary' and are how their family trips 'die." He added that he recently found out that his brother had been attempting to sell other family members on the cruise idea, despite the fact that many of the cousins had already said that they weren't interested. 'This ticked me off,' he continued, 'So I decided to make a separate family group chat excluding my brother.' He said he plans to tell his brother about the separate group chat 'when all of the planning is finished,' but he's not sure he made the right call. A number of the man's fellow Reddit users said they didn't think he should feel bad about excluding his brother, given the specifics of the situation. The PEOPLE Puzzler crossword is here! How quickly can you solve it? Play now! 'NTA [not the a------],' one person said. 'My wife and I are currently planning a trip for next year, so we let my siblings know in case they wanted to join us. My brother's family is able to make it, but my sister's family cannot. And ... that was it! My sister wished us well and asked us all to send pictures, no drama or manipulation. Hopefully, we'll all be able to sync up for a trip later, but this one didn't work for everyone, and that's okay.' 'Tell your brother that the plan has been decided, and it's a resort [and] there's nothing further to discuss. You understand that this might not suit him this year, so you'll understand if he declines. Ask him whether he accepts the invitation with these parameters and explicitly explain that if he doesn't or tries to change anything, he will not be welcome this year,' someone else recommended. One person, however, said that while they understood the man's frustration, they also didn't think that a new group chat was the best way to handle the situation. Never miss a story — sign up for to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories. 'ESH [everyone sucks here],' they said. 'I agree that your brother is being annoying. If your brother would rather do a cruise, he can go and do that on his own. When you're part of a group trip, you go with what the group decides [...]. That having been said, you should keep him in the group chat until he makes that decision for himself.' Read the original article on People Solve the daily Crossword
