29 Beauty Products For A Low-Maintenance Routine
A Wonderskin long-lasting lip stain that's smudge-proof, waterproof, transfer-proof...all of the things you want a lippie to be when you don't have time for touch-ups. With just a little prep (leave it on for 10–30 seconds, marvel at the masque's unique blue color, then wipe away), you'll be good to go for the rest of the day! For an even bolder color, just reapply with a second coat.
A multipurpose dermaplaning tool designed to safely exfoliate your face and remove peach fuzz if desired. It doubles as an eyebrow razor, so you can shape your brows and easily remove any stray hairs. Now, you'll have a flawless base for makeup and perfectly shaped brows to help you fly through your routine later!
A henna eyebrow tint kit that'll fill your brows with vibrant color for 1–2 weeks (according to most reviewers, though for some, it lasted longer!) so you can skip the daily hassle of filling them in. This uses plant-based ingredients rather than chemical dyes, so it's also better for your hair while still resisting fading!
Stainless steel Tweezerman slant tweezers to expertly pluck even the tiniest of stray hairs around your brows (and upper lip, chin, wherever you need it) with precision.
White brow mapping string as a crucial step in making your brows look good for the long haul. It'll leave thin but visible lines on your skin that'll look kinda wild once you're all done, but trust the process — it'll leave you with a precisely marked shape for your brows, which you can then use to thread, tweeze, and tint to your heart's content.
A tin of Cirepil blue wax to save you time shaving or tweezing hairs every day. This wax melts into a smooth gel texture for precise application. It can remove both coarse and fine hairs, leaving the skin on your legs, armpits, between your brows, or ~anywhere else~ you fancy waxing sooooo smooth.
A satin bonnet if you're tired of waking up with a truly scary case of bedhead every morning. The buttery soft satin reduces friction on your hair to prevent frizz and breakage, and it's double-layered to prevent any hair dye or products from soaking into your sheets. Bonus: The elastic band is adjustable, so you can make it just tight enough to prevent slippage without it being *too* tight.
Lilac St. Original Lashes, which are meant to be worn for up to 10 (!) days — they're way less effort and more budget-friendly than professional lash extensions and have converted many reviewers! These vegan, cruelty-free silk lash fibers have an ultra-thin band, adhere well, and look *super* wispy and natural.
Or a lash-lifting kit if you're ready to go the DIY route (because getting it done professionally is NOT in the budget rn). Put an hour or so aside for this, and you'll have dramatically longer-looking and curlier lashes for the next 4–6 weeks! Finally, freedom from the salon, falsies, and your dreadful eyelash curler.
A 47-pack of foam curling rods that make curling your hair *so* easy. All you have to do is wrap your hair around the rods into your desired shape and size, then wait a few hours while you do chores or watch TV (some folks even wear them to bed). You'll be rewarded with gorgeous curls that you can enjoy for the next few days without any extra effort!
Or a Kitsch heatless hair curler covered in satin to help lock in moisture and reduce frizz and split ends. Rather than using different individual rods, your hair gets wrapped around this single long rod, kind of like a headband. It's comfortable enough to sleep in and even cute enough to wear out as a hairstyle, and you'll have gorgeous ringlets for the next several days after removal!
A coconut body scrub here to deliver the soft, silky-satin skin of your dreams, the kind that'll have you running your hands up and down your legs in amazement for DAYS. This ultra-fine sea salt scrub removes dead skin cells while also moisturizing with plant-based oils and aloe vera. Goddess status, here we come. ✨
And a Korean microdermabrasion mitt to experience the full-body exfoliating treatment of your *life* without a trip to a pricey spa. It'll buff away dry, dead skin to reveal the smooth skin underneath, and it'll help your moisturizers sink in better for long-lasting softness.
A set of Glamnetic's press-on nails in case you don't have the time or money to invest in regular salon visits, but still want that polished look. Whether you're going for chic subtlety or cute designs, these make it ridiculously easy, *plus* they're reusable for up to two weeks per wear!
Or a beginner-friendly gel nail polish kit if you prefer the feel and ~ritual~ of applying polish but can't deal with the kind that chips in two days. Reviewers say these last around 2–3 weeks on your hands, and even longer on your toes (one reviewer said their toe polish lasted 1.5 months)! The kit comes with 32 gorgeous colors and everything you need to get the job done, including a UV light that allows the gel to harden.
*Or* a gorgeous set of nail wraps to spice things up with some fun designs (if you're not comfortable doing them yourself)! You just peel, stick, and file them for a look that's both fresh and natural-looking, and reviewers say they stick on for weeks at a time!
If you prefer to keep things simple but neat: Some nail concealer designed to illuminate nails while concealing any yellowing or staining, coating them in a milky shade that looks natural and gorgeous. Yeah, it costs more than cheaper nail polish, but it gives a professional look without the hefty price tag, and reviewers say it lasts up to two weeks!
An Anua heartleaf pore-clearing cleansing oil if you're ready to enter your glass skin era, because this K-beauty staple will do the trick. It'll dissolve makeup residue and pull blackhead-causing gunk out of your pores. Reviewers say you can actually see the yuck that's come out, which is both gross and satisfying — but not as satisfying as how good your skin will look after.
A Solawave red light therapy wand in case giving yourself a professional-level facial at home sounds appealing to you (🙋♀️). This cute tool looks simple, but it's packing some highly effective technologies inside: red light therapy to help reduce dark spots and fine lines, microcurrents that stimulate and lift the skin, facial massage to reduce puffiness, and therapeutic warmth to promote product absorption.
A derma roller designed with teensy-tiny needles that are painless. Its superpower = helping serums and other skincare products penetrate your skin deeper for *maximum* effectiveness. With weekly use, it can also help diminish the appearance of wrinkles, dark circles, and large pores — and at a fraction of the price of a professional microneedling appointment.
A L'Oreal Paris rinse-out lamellar water treatment that'll transform your hair in just eight seconds (!) to leave your hair shiny, silky, and ultra-hydrated, no matter your hair type! (And take it from me: These results last for DAYS.) Psst — they might reach for Redken at your local salon, but this has the same ingredients as that brand's lamellar treatment for way less.
And an Elizavecca hair treatment formulated to deeply repair and hydrate your hair thanks to restorative ingredients like collagen and ceramide 3. You just apply it after shampooing, wait as 5–20 minutes, then rinse it out for hair that'll look *and* feel silky soft for the next several days. Some reviewers say it's even BETTER than Olaplex, which is over three times the price!
A Revlon one-step hair dryer and volumizer so you can give yourself a gorgeous blowout without visiting the salon — it knocks out drying *and* styling your hair in one step to save time in the mornings too! With this under-$50 option, dropping $500+ on a Dyson Airwrap (or even $100 on the Drybar version) suddenly seems...even less appealing.
An elongating curling gel helping you achieve spirals that are soft and defined without losing any length. Plus, for under 10 bucks, you're getting a ton of product in this generously sized tub (and reviewers like it as an alternative to the pricier Kinky-Curly brand).
Some illuminating under-eye gels you can plop on while making dinner, reading a book, meditating, or just watching TV. They'll give your tired under-eyes some much-needed pampering and help reduce dark circles and puffiness, and you'll feel totally refreshed afterward!
Dentist-recommended Crest whitening strips that work over time to remove YEARS of stains and visibly whiten your teeth when you use them for just 30 minutes a day. You should get to a point where you can just use them periodically to maintain the whiteness!
Or a teeth whitening kit if you've tried the strips and just don't like the feeling of them on your teeth. This (lowkey futuristic-looking) device uses LED light with 35% carbamide peroxide gel to whiten your teeth if years of drinking coffee or smoking have done a number on them. The kit comes with 20 treatments — all you need is a free half hour to sit (and maybe catch up on some TV) while it works its magic, with no uncomfortable sensitivity to deal with either.
And finally, a hair thinner and cutter to save you time and money on frequent salon appointments — people swear by this little tool for everything from trimming bangs and maintaining short haircuts to styling wigs. A quick "baby trim" here and there will keep you looking so fresh!

Transform Your Morning Routine With These 50 Products
A set of Snug Plugs if your hair dryer plug keeps falling out of the bathroom outlet and you're starting to wonder if you need to get a pro involved. These little contraptions make a snug fit between outlets and plugs to keep 'em where you want. A WEN blower brush styling tool that'll make giving yourself a blowout suuuuuuper easy. It has become my absolute favorite tool for blowing out my naturally curly hair and have tried nearly every dryer brush on the market. I even pack it for vacation! A pair of Beckham Hotel Collection pillows I own and adore to the point where I replaced the pillows I keep at my parents' with them, too! Yes, they're utter perfection and help me straight-up sleep better. Talk about starting your morning right. Wonderskin Wonder Blading One Step Lip Stain Masque will help you get a little more excited to put on some makeup in the morn. It goes on like a cool lip stain and then peels off to reveal gorgeous, long-lasting color. Elizabeth Mott Thank Me Later Eye Primer can keep that complicated smoky eye look you copied from an MUA's TikTok intact long into the night. Because the last thing you want is to look back at professional photographer's pics from your cousin's wedding and see your eye makeup a mess. (Though we can't say the same for your dancefloor moves.) And Elizabeth Mott Thank Me Later Face Primer (with SPF 30) has reviewers gushing over it for plenty of good reasons. They say it absorbed well, foundation glided over it, and it made their full face stand up to summer heat! Plus, it comes in four problem-solving formulas. A horizontal water bottle organizer that'll keep those too-tall and too–top heavy water bottles *right* where you want them. So it'll be much easier to find your bottle-of-the-day in a flash. And a *universal* drink handle you can slip onto whatever water bottle happens to be clean this morn so you don't have to spend the extra few minutes washing the Stanley Cup with the handle. (FYI, it'll also fit around soda cans and beer bottles!) Crave Naturals Detangling brush will glide through your hair without tugging or ripping out your strands. Time-sucking tangles, meet your match. A "Magic Tap" automatic drink dispenser so kids can help themselves to some OJ without them trying to pull the whole container out of the fridge (which has def spelled disaster in the past). It's battery-operated and spillproof! Plus, a cereal dispenser because you sorta miss the similar cereal situation from your college dining hall (or maybe that's just me?) and when you leave cereal in the boxes they tend to topple over and make a mess. Plus with this, your breakfast will stay fresher. A pair of rustproof shower caddy bathroom shelves to help your (growing) collection of hair masks stay right where you need them. (Each has super strong adhesive and can hold up to 15 pounds!) A faucet extender so the smallest members of your household will finally be able to wash their hands without a major lift while you're brushing your teeth. A rapid cold brew maker to make 40 ounces of the good stuff in under nine minutes, which IMO is far better than having to wait around for cold brew in the fridge. A Mr. Coffee 4-in-1 coffee maker with a built-in milk frother that'll brew up a single serving of ice coffee, hot coffee, and an iced or hot latte. So you've got options for a pretty small footprint on your kitchen counter. (I own this machine and can't say enough great things about it.) Plus, a sliding tray for your coffee maker so you can easily move the essential (but surprisingly heavy) appliance back and forth from underneath your cabinets. A self-stirring mug if you'd rather die than take your coffee black, but hate how long it takes your creamer and sugar to actually blend. A cubby shoe organizer bench to not only help designate a mudroom area for your family but also help keep it tidy when everyone's looking for their shoes in the morning. Mighty Patch hydrocolloid stickers in case you wake up in the morn and are greeted by a painful pimple. This can help deter you from picking at it throughout the day. A pair of high-waisted running shorts in a lightweight, quick-dry material that might just get you pumped to get up and out of the bed to squeeze in a workout before clocking in for work. A painless, mint-flavored teeth-whitening pen you can simply brush on instead of dealing with 30-minute whitening strips. The Esarora ice roller to keep in the freezer and roll all over your beautiful visage while your coffee drip drip drips. I have a super similar roller and do just that, which always helps cut down on any under-eye puffinesses and just gives me a delicious, but abrupt, wakeup call. A sleek mirrored digital alarm clock with USB ports so you won't be tempted to check the time on your phone and, therefore, fall into an hours-long TikTok dive. Or if you're someone who has trouble waking up, a sunrise alarm clock can help you "rise with the sun" even if you're, technically, not. A Baby Brezza Formula Pro Advanced for tired parents who could use the help. This mixes baby formula to the correct temp and consistency, so you don't have to. A rotating Beachwaver curling iron will take a lot of the actual work out of curling your hair. I can curl my hair with a regular curling iron with my eyes closed but I SWEAR by this thing. A rectangular lazy Susan made to hold more than the traditional round ones. Here's to grabbing the oat milk from the back of the fridge without having to remove everything from the shelf that just so happens to be in front of said oat milk. A rotating whisk blender can help you quickly beat eggs when making scrambled eggs for an army. BTW, I take mine low and slow. A dishwasher magnet so everyone in the house is on the same page about whether it's OK to drink from a coffee mug that's in the dishwasher without having to grill everyone. A rapid egg cooker to get your favorite breakfast or salad topping *just* how you like it, rather than tossing improperly cooked eggs (for the millionth time). A personal blender that'll make whipping up a drinkable breakfast that much easier. No more losing tasty gloops of smoothie when you transfer from your regular-sized blender to a drinking vessel. An egg bite maker in case these savory lil' bites are your fave breakfast but you tire of giving Starbucks and Costco all your money by them. And with this, you can customize them to your liking! A SwitchBot Smart Switch Button Pusher you can program so the coffee machine cuts on each before you can zombie-walk to the kitchen. It also works with Alexa and Google Home! A handy pancake batter dispenser and mixer to make family breakfast just a wee bit quicker. In the morning, every minute counts! A two-slice touchscreen toaster that won't cost you three figures like other fancy toasters. And, you can even let the toaster know which of seven toastiness levels you prefer, along with which kind of breakfast carb you're heating. A large capacity rotating makeup organizer could make you realize that, uh, you don't need to drop by Sephora tomorrow afternoon after all. You have become the Sephora. An expandable under-sink kit will fit around awkward pipes in the bathroom while giving some sturdy ground to those bottles of cleaner and rolls of toilet paper. No more cracking the bathroom door to yell out for another roll of TP! An over-the-door cabinet organizer so you won't have to stare at a pile of hairstyling tools every time you go to brush your teeth. You'll be locating your hair dryer in record time! A shower curtain liner with mesh storage pockets I love and will buy for as long as it's a thing I can buy. Maybe you'll feel the same way too once you realize you can stash SO MANY things in it. Plus! The mesh pockets can help you easily eye what you need atm. And double shower curtain hooks for the simplest of switches to make you wonder how the heck you weren't using these before! Now you can throw back that shower curtain in the morning with zero snags. An OG hanging shoe organizer to file away everything from cleaning supplies to toiletries to scarves to leggings to actual shoes. An oldie but goodie 'til the end of time! I have one in my coat closet with umbrellas, packing tape, sunscreen, and a number of random things I need to grab before I head out the door. A portable rain hood you can keep in your bag or car for those days when it MIGHT rain but you neither trust the forecast nor want to plan your outfit around your own rain coat. A folding sink topper to give you an ample surface when there's seemingly no room for all your getting-ready essentials. A do-it-all toothbrush holder and dispenser might make it feel like you and your outside bones are living in the year 3024. An adjustable shower curtain that'll help buy you some more room so you don't feel like your shower curtain is trying to feel you up when washing shampoo suds out of your hair. Some simple little towel clips can keep dishcloths and towels right where you want and need them instead of slipping off the faucet or oven door handle onto the floor. A dual-spray showerhead will dramatically transform your daily regimen so you can get the spray WHERE you need it. Don't do the math on how old your showerhead is. We know it can legally drink. A set of toss-and-chop salad tongs, or "salad scissors," that'll help break your $16-salad habit from that place down the street. This chopping tool (that costs less than two of those salads, btw) will bring a little bit of action to food-prep while helping convince yourself that your homemade salads are delish. Essence's Lash Princess mascara makes for a super dramatic before and after with a few mere swipes. La Pure Waterproof Eyeliner Stamp I'd be remiss if I didn't recommend it to you because practicing a cat-eye flick is HARD.

Achieve Salon-Quality Brows at Home With These Eyebrow Tint Kits
It took me longer than I'd like to admit to realize that perfect brows don't require daily filling. That changed when I discovered the magic of eyebrow tint kits— an easy, at-home way to shape and define my brows while reclaiming precious minutes in the morning. No longer did I have to excuse my hurried handiwork with the mantra: eyebrows are sisters, not twins. Now, I wake up with arches that are ready for the day before I am. Before putting something semi-permanent on my face, I made sure to choose a style that complemented my features. That's why I took the time to master styling with eyebrow pencils before trying my first tint kit. Now that I'm more confident, I'm even considering getting it done professionally for special occasions—but I still love the convenience of doing it at home. 'Tinted brow gels are a really great way to experiment,' says Rebecca Hoffman, founder of Bespoke Brows NYC and proud eyebrow enthusiast. 'If you've been using a colored brow gel, and you're getting frustrated with the fact that it lasts for 12 hours versus three to four weeks, then tinting at home is a nice way to dip your toe in without overcommitting.' When it comes to inspiration for your brow-tinting journey, you might look to Lily Collins's iconic brows or Hailey Bieber's soft, wispy style. Your face is your canvas, and the right brow shape should enhance—not copy—some else's. 'It seems that our consumers aren't leaning heavy into trends at the moment but are more so asking us, based off of the eyebrows that they were born with and their structure, what works best for them,' explains Hoffman. 'It's not quite about fitting into a certain shape, but it's been emphasizing the natural shape as best as possible.' Skip the men's beard dye and treat yourself to a proper brow tint that will leave you waking up flawless. Keep reading to uncover the best eyebrow tinting kits that bring salon-quality results straight to your home. This tint is perfect for anyone serious about at-home eyebrow tinting, as it lasts impressively long on both the skin and brow hairs. Plus, Brow Code offers an entire playlist of tutorial videos covering everything from prep work to aftercare. Brow Code rating: 4.8/5 stars A Brow Code reviewer says: 'Brow tint kit is very easy to use and makes my sparse brows look fuller without the need for filling them in every day. Much less expensive than going to a salon for a tint every two weeks and can be done in the privacy of your own home on your own time.' We're all familiar with Wonderskin's ultra-viral lip stain, but now it's time to explore their game-changing eyebrow stain. Designed to be buildable, this Wonderskin eyebrow stain allows you to gradually darken your brows, avoid dreaded brow-blindness while achieving your perfect look. Amazon rating: 3.6/5 stars An Amazon reviewer says: 'I loved this product! I've tried other brow tints before, but none of them lasted as well as this one from Wonderskin. It's super easy to apply and the result looks really natural (I used the Dark Brunette shade and it matched my hair/skin tone perfectly). What impressed me the most was the staying power — it truly doesn't transfer or smudge throughout the day, even in the heat. I wake up with my brows looking done! Totally worth it. Already planning to get another one so I don't run out.' Believe it or not, you can actually add hair to your eyebrows. Benefit's Gimme Brow+ is packed with tiny microfibers that give your brows a beautifully volumized finish. If you're not ready for a permanent brow tint but want to experiment with added volume, this gel is a must-buy. Sephora rating: 4.4/5 stars A Benefit Cosmetics reviewer says: 'As a natural blonde who doesn't always have time to dye my brows, this is the best brow product I have found! Even when I have dyed my brows, I still use it as it provides fullness to my sparse brows as well as holding them in place ALL day. My brows look beautifully groomed with this baby!' This product applies like a brow gel but gradually works to semi-permanently tint your eyebrows over time. If you're in it for the long haul, try this hydrating, growth-promoting, and gradually darkening brow tint. Thrive Cosmetics rating: 4.4/5 stars A Thrive Cosmetics reviewer says: 'I've tried several brow gels and this one is very promising. It goes on easily, doesn't clump like others—and we all know when THAT happens, you just have to start again. Who has time for that? The coverage is great and it really does last. Now, I normally wash off ALL my makeup at night, but I put this to the test. The semi permanent coverage is true. Lasted through the night and into the next day. Beautiful! What a win.' This peel-off brow gel offers a moderate-lasting tint—not quite weeks-long color, but definitely longer than a single day— making it ideal for intermediate brow tinters. I especially love the peel-off feature, as it allows you to craft the perfect arch without worrying about smudging. Plus, it peels off in one satisfying piece! Amazon rating: 3.4/5 stars An Amazon reviewer says: ' have naturally thin, sparse brows and was looking for something to save me time in my morning makeup routine. This stuff is one of the coolest things I've bought all year! I applied it where I could see my faded microblading and let it set while I make the kids breakfast and pickup around the house. By the time I get ready my brows are set and look great! The color is true to the photos and mine lasted 2-3 days.' Here's an eyebrow tint that not only colors the hairs but also creates a faux shape on the skin, a henna tint is the perfect solution. Amazon rating: 3.9/5 stars An Amazon reviewer says: 'Oh my gosh, this eyebrow tint is truly amazing! I can't believe how easy and effective it is. Amazon rating: 3.9/5 stars An Amazon reviewer says: 'I absolutely love this lash and brow tint. I first use this product when I lived in Germany so I was happy to see it available on Amazon. The color is gorgeous and really makes my lashes stand out, giving them a fuller, darker look that lasts. The application is easy and doesn't irritate my eyes. I always put a little Vaseline under my eyes to prevent any dye from getting on my skin.' If you're looking for a quick and budget-friendly brow tint, give this drugstore favorite by Ardell a try. An Amazon reviewer says: 'My hair color is naturally super dark brown. I picked the medium brown color based on other reviews and I can guarantee that the medium brown looks best. It can come out dark and rich without being overwhelming, especially if you're lighter-complexioned. The tint lasts around the stated time (4 weeks). I actually halved the time stated for leaving it on and was satisfied with how it came out.' Like any beauty ritual, brow tinting starts with prep. Hoffman recommends patch testing your kit of choice the day before application. 'A day before you're thinking of fully tinting your brows, oxidize the tint and put a little bit of it behind your earlobe or maybe, somewhere along your neck, just to see if in the immediate you might have a reaction,' she explains. When it comes to application, working slow and tidily can ensure that you get your desired results and minimize mistakes. 'When you're applying the color, obviously, you want to work as neatly as you can,' Hoffman says. 'If the packaging tells you it should be on for 10 minutes, cut that in half if not less, and check it. You can always put it back on in general. It is so much easier to reapply tint and build that color than it is to scrub it out.' The frequency with which you need to tint your eyebrows varies depending on the product you're using, so you should defer to the product instructions. 'If you're using an at home product, there should be recommendations for that on the packaging that you use,' says Hoffman. 'In general an estimate is every three to four weeks, but that's product dependent.' Hoffman explains that there are generally two different types of dyes used to tint brows, and each provides different benefits based on what look you're going for. 'There are two generally two different types of tints, and each one will provide different service results. You can do a henna tint, which is more long lasting, and it will also stain your skin. It's a little bit more of an extreme look, but it's great for people who don't have hair and really need the dye to stick to the skin in order to create the shape of a brow.' Most classic brow tints are vegetable-based dyes. These formulas will only stain the hair, 'which is great for achieving a much more natural look,' Hoffman continues. 'In general, tinting will kind of only color match what you have for a denser, fuller look, or it will make your brow hair go darker.' When searching for a tint, keep an eye out for products that have been tested and are meant to be used on the eyebrow. 'Some things that you do want to look for is the brand ophthalmologist tested or is this product specifically made for brows and lashes?' In terms of avoiding certain ingredients, Hoffman suggests steering clear of known irritants. 'Some of those ingredients that you want to avoid are called PPDs (Phenylenediamines),' she explains. 'They're known to be like kind of harsh. Usually, they tend to contain allergens in it.' Hoffman also recommends avoiding products with synthetic fragrances, ammonia, or parabens.
