Cher's son Elijah Blue Allman is released from hospital after overdose
Allman, 48, whom the 79-year-old music icon shared with the late Gregg Allman, was released from a Southern California facility and is recovering at home, according to TMZ.
DailyMail.com reached out to Cher's reps for comment, but did not immediately hear back.
The legendary performer's younger of two children 'was rushed to the hospital in Joshua Tree, California, after overdosing earlier Saturday morning,' TMZ reported on June 14.
A San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department spokesman told DailyMail.com: 'On Saturday, June 14, 2025, at about 1:25 p.m., deputies from our Morongo Basin Station responded to a residence in the 2300 block of Cambria Avenue, in Landers, for a male subject acting erratically.
'When deputies arrived, Elijah Allman, 48, was being evaluated by emergency medical personnel. Deputies located drugs inside the home and Allman was transported to the hospital. The investigation is ongoing.'
It is unknown what drugs Allman was using, with an insider adding last week that he is 'very lucky to have survived.'
It was said last week that Cher, full name Cherilyn Sarkisian, is focused on 'doing everything she can to get him the help he needs' and only concerned for her son's well-being.
In 2014 Allman revealed he began using drugs, like weed and ecstasy, at just 11-years-old and detailed some close calls.
'I [was] just looking to escape all the things in my past and, that's when you turn to those kind of drugs, you know heroin and opiates,' he told ET at the time.
He added, '[Heroin] kind of saved me … If I didn't have that at that point, I don't know what I would have done …You may jump off a bridge. If you can only just go through that time period and live through it and then get help.'
Allman also recalled 'some moments of really feeling at the edge of mortality.'
'I always kind of kept it a little bit safe but you never can do that,' he explained. 'Even though you think that in your mind, of course the wrong things can happen.
'The wrong combination of things can happen and you can just slip into the abyss. I knew it was wrong and I knew that I was very unsatisfied with life at that point.'
In early 2024 a judge threw out Cher's bid to have Elijah placed in a conservatorship controlled by her.
She had petitioned LA Superior Court to appoint her as Elijah's temporary conservator, arguing that his drug addiction, plus mental and physical health issues, made him unable to manage the $120,000 a year he gets from a trust fund set up for him by his late father, rock star Gregg Allman.
Cher said she feared he would spend his $10,000 a month payouts on drugs, putting his life in jeopardy.
Judge Jessica Uzcategui refused to appoint Cher as conservator, saying that the star's attorneys had not given Elijah enough notice of the court action and refused to share confidential information with him about his case.
After the brief hearing, when DailyMail.com asked how he felt about the result, Elijah just smiled and shook his head.
Cher's attorney, Gabrielle Vidal, asked the judge to waive the usual five-day notice required to inform a person of a proposed conservatorship, arguing that 'absent a (conservatorship) order today' distribution of money to Elijah from his trust fund could put him 'in a life or death position.'

Dramatic explosion at fireworks warehouse ahead of July 4 celebrations
A fireworks warehouse in California caught fire and exploded on Tuesday, causing pyrotechnics to detonate above the site. The blaze at the storage facility in Yolo, 40 miles outside of Sacramento, sending locals fleeing for safety. Aerial footage from the scene showed huge plumes of black smoke spreading into surrounding farmland. Late Tuesday, officials warned residents living near the factory to evacuate due to the 'immediate threat to life.' The Yolo County Sheriff's Office said the fire continued to burn throughout the night. The cause of the explosion remains under investigation but comes just days before July 4 celebrations that will see millions of Americans enjoy firework displays across the country. 'As many of you are aware, there was a significant explosion earlier today near the Esparto/Madison area, specifically around County Road 23 and County Road 86A. A warehouse storing fireworks exploded and continues to burn,' the YCSO wrote in a statement. An active evacuation zone remains around the site, and people who were staying in Madison and the Madison Migrant Center were told they could return home. The fire is expected to take days to cool down, and when it does, explosive experts will safely assess and secure the area, the YCSO said. 'We strongly urge everyone to continue avoiding the area for the next several days so that fire crews, law enforcement, and emergency personnel can do their jobs safely and effectively.' Cal Fire firefighters said they deployed air and ground resources to assist Yolo County officials with the incident. The fire remains a critical situation, and officials issued a stark warning to residents: 'Immediate threat to life. This is a lawful order to leave now. The area is lawfully closed to public access.'

Angelina Jolie's daughter Shiloh pictured with rumored love interest
Shiloh Jolie enjoyed an outing with her rumored partner Keoni Rose after they first sparked romance rumors over a month ago. On Tuesday, the 19-year-old daughter of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt got close with her dance partner as they enjoyed a meal together after being at the studio together. She appeared to be in high spirits and was seen sharing a laugh with her pal as they were snapped walking from a car and into a local sushi joint in Los Angeles. Shiloh and Keoni have been rumored to be dating ever since they enjoyed a PDA-filled outing together to celebrate the nepo baby 's birthday in May. The teenager looked relaxed and laidback in a casual outfit during their outing. She bundled up in a bright red hoodie and had the hood pulled over her head to cover her hair. She paired the sweater with gray workout shorts and dark gray Crocs for their outing. Meanwhile, her dance partner and rumored girlfriend sported a similarly casual look,in coral shorts and a black hoodie. The nepo baby has recently been at the center of online debate as fans have debated whether she looks more like her mother or her father. In addition to Shiloh, the former couple have five children: Maddox, 23; Pax, 21; Zahara, 20; and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16. In new photos of her on an outing in LA last month, Shiloh certainly resembled her dad. This comes just as a source told People that the children are doing fine after the finalization of the Pitt/Jolie divorce. The insider said: 'The kids are amazing and thriving.' The notoriously private young adult, who is the eldest biological daughter of the former Hollywood power couple, attended an intimate dinner held at the Oliver House last month in a rare public appearance to celebrate Isabel Marant's new capsule collection with Net-A-Porter. During the event, it was revealed that Shiloh had choreographed a dance routine by professional dancers Keoni and Tako Suzuki, who accompanied singer-songwriter Luella's live performance of her new single Naive. But according to reports, Shiloh used a new name to choreograph the performance. She is now reportedly going by just Shi, although it's unclear whether this is solely for the stage. The new nickname comes one year after Shiloh dropped Pitt from her last name, having officially filed the petition on her 18th birthday. Her name went from Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt to Shiloh Nouvel Jolie.

Meghan Markle is mocked for her 'sell-out wine' as royal fans are left stunned by $119 minimum spend
Meghan Markle 's first-ever wine drop was an immediate sell-out - but royal fans soon noted all wasn't quite as it seemed. The Duchess of Sussex, 43, yesterday released her 2023 Napa Valley rosé, made in California, which quickly sold out in under an hour. On Tuesday, the wine went live, with customers able to purchase three bottles for $90, six bottles for $159, and 12 bottles for $300. However, royal fans soon noted that this meant there was a minimum spend of $119, as buyers were also charged $20 for shipping, plus taxes. In addition, Meghan was mocked for her 'bizarre' promotional shoot, using 'bad English' in her newsletter and errors in her website URL. To mark 'one more sleep' before the release, the mother-of-two shared a picture of the star wine bottle in a bucket of ice, covered in flower sprinkles. Meghan pledged to 'elevate the ordinary' through her tips and tricks shown in her Netflix cookery show, released in March - in which she added flower sprinkles to cookies and a frittata. She's since released the sprinkles for fans to buy for $15, encouraging people to 'elevate' their meals with a dusting of the petals. This time, however, fans were less convinced when Meghan added the sprinkles to her ice cubes, with one person writing: 'I'm not just seeing things, right?' Another mocked: 'Don't forget to add flower sprinkles to the ice!' Fans spotted another promotional error in Meghan's newsletter sent out to fans via email. The Duchess wrote, in an excited tone: 'It's here! We're thrilled to announce our debut rosé is now available! 'Thoughtfully curated by Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, this gorgeous rosé offers a roundness and depth of flavor, complemented by a gentle minerality. 'We hope this wine invites you to celebrate warm summer moments with the ones you love.' People pointed out that the verb 'curate' usually refers to more than one item - and doesn't work for one wine recipe. Meanwhile, the URLs used for the As ever website prompted some confusion. Others pointed out that Meghan had used the word 'curate' in her newsletter - despite only referring to one item Meanwhile the URLs used for the As ever website prompted some confusion On her brand's Instagram account, Meghan directed her fans to shop via ' But on the bottle's label, as pictured on the website, the URL was listed as Raging at the price, one person wrote: 'Oh wait! Meghan Markle is forcing people to buy three bottles at a total of $110 minimum!' And pointed out the grammatical errors, others added: 'Meghan Markle obviously has a poor grasp of English'; 'I wonder what she thinks it means'; 'How does one curate a wine'; 'Curate', pretentious waffle.' If you bought the six bottle package, Meghan promised that you were receiving 12 per cent off, while a 12-pack gets you a 17 per cent saving. Daily Mail exclusively revealed this week that the alcoholic beverage is made by Fairwinds Estate, a California winery that creates bespoke wines for celebrities, as they've now added Meghan to their list of clients. Royal fans were left baffled by the promotional materials for the highly anticipated wine When FEMAIL in New York went to purchase a bundle of the wine, we weren't asked for proof of ID - only our birthday. In New York State, there are strict rules about the shipping of wine, as 'manufacturers in other states can make direct shipments of wine, distilled spirits, cider, mead, and braggot to New York residents with an Out-of-State Direct Shipper's License,' per the state's website. The state also requires that the manufacturer must require the customer to represent that they are 21 or older at purchase (and on delivery provide proof that they are 21 years of age or older) and that the alcohol is being purchased for personal use only. Wine shipped to New York must also be labeled in a specific way, as the package must read, 'signature of person age 21 or older required for delivery.' So, in New York, you may be able to order the wine online, but you will need to show proof of identity and age in order to accept the package. But while it may be simple for anyone of age to get their hands on Meghan's As Ever wine, a supplier like Total Wine won't even ship wine to New York State. Other websites, like Wine Access, however, follow As Ever's lead and only ask for a birthdate upon ordering. The As Ever wine is the first alcoholic product to be sold under the brand, and will join her current rolodex of raspberry and apricot spreads, cookie mixes, flower sprinkles and herbal teas - all of which received a less-than-perfect review by FEMAIL. However, Caitlin Jardine, a Social Media Manager at Ellis Digital, previously shared with Daily Mail that The Duchess could risk 'alienating' some fans with the boozy introduction. Jardine noted that Meghan will be 'entering a highly competitive and established market' that is 'most likely to appeal to a more expansive audience, particularly those who see wine as more than just something to drink but an accessory to their lifestyle.' 'However, having already associated herself with all things wellness, this could alienate some of her fan base who feel as though she is going against her core wellness-centered brand image, different to her existing line of products, with the potential to contradict her values around mindful living,' Jardine explained. Meghan's July 1 wine launch is her second in just a matter of weeks. On June 20, she released a new apricot spread and limited-edition orange blossom honey - but unfortunately, her infamous raspberry spread was nowhere to be found. Since the start of the year, Meghan has returned to Instagram, launched a podcast, starred in her Netflix show and launched her lifestyle business, As ever. She has consistently shared promotional content and product updates, including the release of fruit spreads, jams, and baking mixes. The brand has been positioned as a modern, upscale take on domestic living and has quickly gained traction online. Her Instagram account features a mix of personal snapshots and As Ever product features, offering followers an intimate look at her life in California. Over the weekend, for example, Meghan picked fresh fruits from her garden in a candid Instagram post this weekend - but royal fans quickly noted an odd detail about the photo. The Duchess of Sussex appeared to be picking apricots from her Montecito-based garden, but fans soon noted the fruit was 'glowing' The Duchess shared a snap of her out in the garden picking fresh fruits to her lifestyle brand, As ever's Instagram account on Saturday. She captioned the picturesque image, believed to be taken on her estate in Montecito: 'Weekend plans: pick, snack, repeat,' followed by a peach emoji. In the photo, Meghan can be seen standing under a fruit tree reaching up while dressed in a relaxed outfit which included a monogrammed wide-brimmed straw hat. And she appeared to be plucking a newly ripe apricot from one of her trees - with the image implying she'd freshly pulled it off the branch before the snapshot was taken. But eagle-eyed social media users soon noted that the fruit Meghan had picked was a different colour to those still on the tree. One royal fan wrote: 'All the other fruit is so green,' while a second added: 'She's picking green fruit!' and the third said: 'The other fruit isn't ripe...' By comparison, they said the apricot Meghan was holding was 'yellow' and seemed to be 'glowing'.
