Manchu Manoj attends ‘Oh Bhama Ayyo Rama' pre-release event; lauds Suhas for his journey

Rising star Suhas, known for his distinctive choice of scripts, is back with a new romantic comedy entertainer titled Oh Bhama Ayyo Rama. The film, directed by Ram Goudhala and produced by Harish Nalla under the V Arts banner, is set for a grand worldwide theatrical release on July 11. Adding freshness to the cast is Malayalam actress Malavika Manoj, who makes her Telugu debut with this film.
At a lavish pre-release event held in Hyderabad, Rocking Star Manchu Manoj was the chief guest. He unveiled the film's Big Ticket and lauded Suhas, calling him 'an inspiration' for his journey from YouTube to mainstream cinema. 'Just like Vijay Sethupathi carved his place in Tamil, Suhas is doing it here in Telugu,' Manoj stated.
Suhas expressed gratitude to the team, praising Malavika's performance and highlighting the film's emotional core centered around the roles of a mother and wife in a man's life. 'These elements will definitely touch hearts,' he noted.
Producer Harish Nalla commended the work of cinematographer Manikandan, art director Brahma Kadali, and music director Rathnam, calling the film 'a team effort filled with passion.'
Director Ram Goudhala shared his emotional connection with the project and promised more collaborations with Suhas. Comedian Ali, who plays a key role, described Malavika as 'a young Anushka' and praised the team's chemistry.
With strong performances, heartfelt storytelling, and a talented crew, Oh Bhama Ayyo Rama is poised to be a charming crowd-pleaser this July.

New Delhi [India], July 13 (ANI): The makers of Rajinikanth's 'Coolie' have shared the second song titled 'Monica' from the film. It features strong dance performances from the lead actress, Pooja Hegde and Malayalam director-actor Soubin Shahir. Superstar Rajinikanth starrer 'Coolie' is one of the highly anticipated movies of this year. It is directed by 'Jailer' director Lokesh Kanagaraj and is slated to release in the theatres worldwide on August 14, 2025. 'Monica' song is composed by Anirudh Ravichander and is sung by Sublahshini, Anirudh Ravichander and Rap by Asal Kolaar. The lyrics of the song are penned by Vishnu Edavan. As for the lyrical video of the song, Pooja Hegde was seen nailing the dance moves choreographed by Sandy. Despite Hegde's heart-winning performance, Malayalam actor-director Soubin's brief dance glimpse has caught the attention of many cinema fans. Soubin Shahir is known for his roles in movies like 'Premam' and 'Manjummel Boys'. Though Shahir has proved his mettle in acting, the artist has now surprised his fans with killer dance moves in the 'Monica' song. Dressed in a formal shirt and pants, the actor effortlessly matched the dance steps with Pooja Hegde in the song. Sun Pictures (official production banner of 'Coolie') shared the song on their Instagram handle. This is the second single from the movie. Earlier, the makers released the song 'Chikitu' which was composed by Anirudh Ravichander and sung by T Rajhendherr, Anirudh Ravichander, and Arivu. This peppy song sets the tone for 'Coolie', which is full of Rajinikanth's trademark swag, reflecting the superstar's legendary demeanour and charisma on the screen. In the music video, Anirudh is seen singing the song with a microphone in his hand, encircled by a group of background dancers who offer great additions to the overall vibe of the song. The song has a grassroots Tamil feel thanks to the participation of renowned choreographer Sandy Master, beat master T Rajhendherr, and lyricist-singer Arivu in the music video. In one of the scenes, Rajinikanth also appears as Coolie, stealing the show with his swaggy dance moves. Meanwhile, Rajinikanth also has 'Jailer 2' in his movie pipeline. He was 83. PM Modi remembered the actor for his 'riveting' performances and social service throughout his over four-decade-long career. While paying tribute to the late Telugu actor, PM Modi wrote on X, ' Anguished by the passing of Shri Kota Srinivas Rao Garu. He will be remembered for his cinematic brilliance and versatility. He enthralled audiences across generations with his riveting performances. He was also at the forefront of social service and worked towards empowering the poor and downtrodden. Condolences to his family and countless admirers. Om Shanti.' Earlier, Tripura Governor Indra Sena Reddy Nallu expressed deep grief and extended heartfelt condolences to the family of veteran Telugu actor Kota Srinivasa Rao after the actor's demise. In an official statement, the Governor described the demise as an 'irreparable loss to the Telugu film industry.' Expressing his shock and sorrow, Governor Reddy said, 'The demise of the renowned actor Kota Srinivasa Rao, who won the affection of cinema audiences with his versatile roles, is deeply saddening. His artistic contributions to the fields of cinema and theatre over nearly four decades, and the roles he portrayed, will remain unforgettable.' Governor Reddy Nallu recalled the actor's legacy in Indian cinema, particularly in Telugu films, where he left a lasting impression through a wide range of powerful performances, especially as a villain and character artist. 'The numerous memorable roles he played will forever stay etched in the hearts of Telugu audiences,' he added. Apart from his contribution to cinema, the Governor also acknowledged Kota Srinivasa Rao's service in public life. The late actor was elected as an MLA from Vijayawada in 1999, further underlining his commitment to the people. Governor Reddy concluded his message by offering his profound condolences to the bereaved family and praying for strength and peace during this difficult time. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu also condoled his death, calling it an 'irreparable loss' to the Telugu film industry. In a post on X, CM Chandrababu Naidu said, 'The demise of the renowned actor Kota Srinivasa Rao, who won the affection of cinema audiences with his versatile roles, is deeply saddening. His artistic contributions to the fields of cinema and theatre over nearly four decades, and the roles he portrayed, will remain unforgettable. The numerous memorable roles he played as a villain and character artist will forever stay etched in the hearts of Telugu audiences.' Apart from the politician, the film fraternity also expressed their grief, sorrow and extended their condolences to the Rao's family after his unfortunate demise. Tollywood megastar Chiranjeevi called him a 'multifaceted genius' and shared a long note on X (formerly Twitter), remembering his strong screen presence and the 'void' his death has left behind. Actor Ravi Teja, who worked with Kota Srinivasa Rao in over 10 films, also expressed his grief. 'Grew up watching him, admiring him, and learning from every performance. Kota Babai was like family to me, I cherish the lovely memories of working with him. Rest in peace, Kota Srinivasa Rao garu Om Shanti,' he wrote on X. Soon after the news of his death broke, several political leaders, film stars, and close friends began arriving at his residence to pay their last respects. From Tollywood megastar Chiranjeevi to Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, many were seen offering condolences to Rao's family. Kota Srinivasa Rao was born on July 10, 1942, in Kankipadu village, a suburb of Vijayawada city in Andhra Pradesh. Making his debut with 'Pranam Khareedu' in 1978, he acted in over 750 films in various languages. He also received the Padma Shri in 2015, India's fourth-highest civilian honour, for his contribution to Indian cinema. (ANI)
