Rooted in Campus' philosophy of Move Your Way, the event served as a powerful expression of the brand's belief in individuality, transformation, and progress- anchored in the strength of a shared collective spirit. A centerpiece of the event was a deeply emotional film conceptualised by Ogilvy, bringing to life real stories from Campus' distributor family. From salesmen who rose to become successful entrepreneurs, to those who rebuilt their businesses after personal and financial hardships, the film honoured journeys marked by courage, belief, and shared success. A recurring sentiment through each testimony was the pivotal role played by the Chairman of Campus Activewear Ltd. Mr. H.K. Agarwal, whose mentorship, support, and faith transformed not just businesses-but lives.
'Shoecase 2025 wasn't just a milestone event-it was a reaffirmation of our purpose and our partnerships,' said Mr. Nikhil Aggarwal, Whole-Time Director and CEO, Campus ActivewearLtd. 'Our distributors are more than just business partners-they are co-creators of our journey. As we step into a future shaped by design, innovation, and youth's culture, we remain rooted in the legacy of trust and shared ambition that brought us here. We are proud to grow with them, and to move ahead-together.'
In keeping with the digital-first spirit of the event, AI-powered personalised invitations were sent out ahead of Shoecase 2025, setting the tone for a thoughtfully curated and tech-enhanced experience. Distributors were immersed in the brand's future-forward journey through a dedicated Experiential Product Zone-an interactive space that allowed for hands-on exploration of Campus' latest designs and innovations. The space also included a tech-powered photobooth using AR and AI. Distributors could choose themed backdrops inspired by the event zones, personalise their style with Campus shoes, and capture a memorable moment with the Chairman, Mr. H.K. Agarwal.
The event also featured a fashion-first runway experience, showcasing Campus' latest Focus Collection. Designed to reflect the rhythm of today's lifestyle-from early mornings to late nights, from workouts to weekend hangouts-the collection demonstrated how fashion and function can come together seamlessly. With bold silhouettes, expressive colour palettes, and innovative comfort, the showcase celebrated the self-expression and fluidity that define Gen Z culture.
Adding a layer of warmth and nostalgia were the Thank You Wall and Legacy Wall, which brought together stories, milestones, and memories from Campus' longstanding distributor network-a living tribute to relationships built on trust, vision, and shared dreams.
As Campus continues to lead the way in India's dynamic footwear landscape, Shoecase 2025 marked a celebration of the past and a commitment to the future, built hand-in-hand with the partners.

Logistics and warehousing policy to be announced soon: Sirsa

The Delhi government will soon launch the Logistics and Warehousing Policy, 2025, said Industries Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa on Sunday. The government is exploring dedicated logistics hubs, green freight corridors, and technology-driven solutions, as the policy, which aims to ease congestion, curb pollution, and boost ease of doing business, is expected to be made public in 15 days, according to the Minister's office. The policy will be structured around 16 key action points, which collectively aim to overhaul Delhi's logistics landscape, including 24/7 operations for logistics parks through amendments to the Model Shops Act, digital delivery management to optimize truck movement and reduce peak-hour traffic, and merging trade and establishment licenses to cut red tape for warehousing businesses and others. 'This is a game-changer policy. It will make our logistics ecosystem cleaner, faster, and more competitive. Traders will gain, commuters will breathe easier, and Delhi will set a benchmark for sustainable urban freight,' Mr. Sirsa said. Mr. Sirsa said that Delhi currently handles 10 lakh tonnes of freight per day through 1.93 lakh vehicles, 21% of which passes through traffic. The largest share is carried by trucks transporting building materials (4,132 vehicles/day), textiles (3,995), fruits and vegetables (2,569), and food products (2,468). Even pharmaceuticals (559) and automobiles (588) contribute to congestion. 'Without proper warehousing zones, these vehicles enter city interiors, clogging major routes and worsening pollution,' Mr. Sirsa said. The Minister said that the draft policy proposes relocating warehouses to the periphery, consolidating freight at three modern Urban Consolidation and Logistics Distribution Centres to be built on city outskirts with incentives for traders and shifting last-mile deliveries to electric and CNG vehicles. 'These measures will cut vehicular emissions and reduce congestion at hotspots like Azadpur, Ghazipur, Naraina, and Karol Bagh, delivering a significant win for air quality,' he added.

India's retail focus returns to malls as high street leasing falls 26% in Q2 2025

New Delhi: India's retail sector has shifted its focus to malls again as leasing of high streets witnessed a 26 per cent quarter-on-quarter decline in the second quarter of 2025. According to the latest report by Cushman & Wakefield Malls accounted for 45 per cent of leasing volume in Q2 (1.01 MSF) - a 42 per cent q-o-q rise, and the highest mall share in the past five quarters, signaling growing interest in experience-driven, structured retail formats. However, even after witnessing a dip in the leasing activities, high streets continued to dominate with 55 per cent (1.23 MSF) of the market, underscoring the persistent undersupply of quality mall stock across cities. According to the 'Q2-2025 Retail Market Beat Report', no new mall supply was added in Q2, and Grade A mall completions for H1 2025 stood at 1.3 million square feet. As a result, mall vacancy levels dropped by around 77 basis points to 8.16 per cent in Q2 2025, with premium Grade-A+ or superior malls witnessing even tighter vacancies at just 4.28 per cent. This highlights the growing demand for premium retail assets and further strengthens landlord leverage in prime locations. Meanwhile, average mainstreet rents remained stable on a q-o-q basis, while recording a healthy 6 per cent y-o-y rise. Suvishesh Valsan, Head, Research India at Cushman & Wakefield said, "High streets remained the dominant driver of activity, while vacancy levels in Grade-A malls have tightened further - reflecting a clear and growing preference for high-quality and experience-led retail spaces. Looking ahead, we remain optimistic. Nearly 4 MSF of new Grade A supply is expected in the second half of the year, particularly across key metros such as Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, and Hyderabad" He stated that the growing interest from international brands and the sharp uptick in leasing across categories like wellness and grocery -- both of which signal a broader shift in India's consumption landscape. As per the report, the domestic retailers continued to maintain a dominant position in leasing volume with 86 per cent share (1.93 MSF). The quarter also witnessed a notable uptake in international retailer participation, whose share rose to 14 per cent with 0.31 MSF of leasing activity, up from 8.5 per cent in the previous quarter. This growth was largely driven by malls, which remain the preferred format for global brands seeking structured environments, brand visibility, and curated customer experiences. In terms of cities, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Delhi-NCR emerged as the top-performing markets, recording leasing volumes of 0.76 MSF, 0.52 MSF and 0.3 MSF respectively- collectively accounting for over 70 per cent of the total leasing activity in the quarter. They were followed by Pune (0.23 MSF), Bengaluru (0.18 MSF), Chennai (0.16 MSF), Kolkata (0.05 MSF) and Ahmedabad (0.04 MSF).

VDA begins campaign on new building bylaws

Varanasi: The Varanasi Development Authority has intensified its campaign to make people aware of the UP Development Authority Building Construction and Development Bylaws-2025, as well as the Model Zoning Regulation-2025. Speaking to TOI after the launch of the awareness campaign, VDA vice chairman Pulkit Garg said that following the state govt's approval of the Building Construction and Development Bylaws-2025, which aims to streamline construction processes, promote green buildings, and encourage vertical growth, the authority in Varanasi has started its promotion.
