While the former Real Housewives of Cheshire star had been set to appear on E4's Celebs Go Dating, she later pulled out of the show, saying she wasn't ready to date publicly. Most recently, the star has said she is scared of joining dating apps due to the fear of not knowing who would turn up if she agreed to meet with a person from an app. But it appears that she is happy to meet people naturally, including the mystery soap star. Sources have claimed that Christine and the TV star "had a fling" as well as fun together after meeting one another. The pair are reported to have partied with one another, before things between them ultimately fizzled out. "Christine was single at the time and they really enjoyed the evening of the awards bash," a source said. They went on to tell The Sun: "There was a strong chemistry between them and they shared some messages, but it never went any further after that." Christine split from former Top Gear host Paddy in 2023, after 11 years of marriage. However, the couple still live together at their home in Cheshire, for the sake of their children, but at opposite ends of the house. Speaking about dating on the BBC Situationships with Sophie and Christine podcast, she recalled her horror over the possibility of joining apps such as Tinder or Hinge. It came after the mention of "catfishing" and Sophie recalling a date with someone who was "not at all" how she had expected them to look based on the photos that had been on his profile. Christine asked: "Do you not think to like FaceTime or check that the person is who they say they are?" Sophie, who's now in a relationship, replied by saying that she would "never do it" and that she hasn't been on dating apps for years. Her co-host Christine then shared: "I would be petrified of who could turn up and who am I talking to and yeah ... no, it scares me." Sophie went on to tell her: "I think they are gonna go out of fashion. I think everyone's getting fed up." Sharing her thoughts, Christine added: "I think it should come with like ... almost like a TripAdvisor ... like a review thing. Maybe like reviews from people's exes or something." She later joked that all reviews on her, would be five stars. But Christine later said she has struggled with the concept of dating again, saying: "It's part of the problem. I mean, for me, it's something I've really struggled with is ... the idea of dating and not going well, then how do you get out of it? Cause I wouldn't want to upset somebody." Following her and Paddy's split, the TV star, who has fallen into "situationships", with the lines between friendship and a romantic bond blurring. However, she did have one date, which she says was her first ever, but it took months of her and the person communicating in order for her to feel comfortable meeting them.

'I tasted Blackpool's famous £1 burger and was left baffled'
A burger bar in Blackpool has been a popular spot for years thanks to its bargain food prices - but what does the burger taste like? One man went to find out Finding a lunch for £1 in today's economy is no easy feat, with even a supermarket meal deal setting you back at least £3.60 at Tesco. However, there's one spot in Blackpool where you can still nab a burger for just a quid - and it appears the owner has no plans to hike up the prices anytime soon. But does it pass the taste test? Higgitt's Las Vegas Arcade in the popular seaside resort continues to draw in the crowds. Recent TripAdvisor reviews rave that you "genuinely can't get better value than this" and praise the burgers as "big and delicious". One customer even journeyed "a long way" to try the "famous £1 burger" and found it did not "it didn't disappoint". Online influencer Spencer, also known as Gully, took to his @lifeatgully TikTok account to share his verdict on the £1 burger, which left him rather taken aback. Scanning the menu, he noticed a cheeseburger was available for an additional 50p. Other options such as a Spam and Egg Barm, Sausage and Egg Barm and a Spam and Cheese Barm were priced at just £1.50. Meanwhile, a Burger and Onions, Hot Dogs, Egg Barm, Spam Barm and Sausage Barm all came in at a mere £1 each. Gully opted for a £1 burger with onions and ketchup. While waiting, he queried the owner if he planned to "move away from the £1 burger", following its online fame, to which the response was a resounding "No, no, no!". He then proceeded to sample the burger, jokingly taking his first bite "with caution" due to its speedy preparation time of "it was ready in about eight seconds". However, he was pleasantly surprised by the flavour. "It's actually not bad. I don't think they're too bad. I'm not even going to complain about it. Decent." He wasn't the only one who thought the burgers were worth every penny. "I went on Saturday. It's actually decent," one customer said. Another chimed in: "I've been there before and it's such good burgers I think. "They're just as good as any burgers in Blackpool honestly," another added. Reporter Conaill Corner from the ECHO also recently visited the popular spot and was happy to sing its praises: From the point that I told the chef my order of burger and onions to the moment when he'd wrapped it up and placed it in front of me, the time which had passed mustn't have been more than 30 seconds - a turnaround time that puts supposed 'fast-food restaurants' to shame. And, I have to say, it was good. Not gourmet, not award-winning, but good in that way only seaside burgers can be. The kind that reminds you of childhood trips to the coast, the smell of salt in the air, and a ketchup-slicked bun in your little mitts. The burger was moist, generously sized, and sandwiched between a no nonsense oven bottom muffin. Nostalgia served hot.
