New Phineas and Ferb episodes on Disney+ to be ‘just like old times', but with tiny change
'The more observant of you will notice Phineas' shirt has one extra stripe,' says co-creator Jeff 'Swampy' Marsh. Dan Povenmire, Marsh's creative partner, adds: 'He hasn't actually gotten any taller, but we're giving him the illusion of getting taller.'
Other than a fourth stripe on Phineas' orange-and-white T-shirt, OPTIONAL CUT ENDPhineas and Ferb returns with all the characters that Gen Z viewers so adored, including Perry the Platypus, the mad scientist Dr Doofenshmirtz, the easily excitable older sister Candace and the bully Buford.
'We were a little worried at first, like are we going to get in the writers' room and just get a lot of 'No, did that.' 'Did that.' 'Did that',' Povenmire says. 'But it hasn't been like that at all. It's been great, fresh, new stories with these characters that we're just thrilled with.'
Play
The series restarts with Phineas and Ferb enjoying summer holiday, Doofenshmirtz back to his evil ways – he updates his social media status to 'Evil Again' – and Candace on her everlasting quest to get her brothers in trouble.

8 timepieces from Rihanna's luxury watch collection: Cartier, Rolex, Jacob & Co and more
When it comes to Rihanna 's luxury watch collection, every single piece just work, work, work, work, works. The Barbados-born singer-turned-business mogul has spent nearly two decades building an empire and a career in entertainment, and with a net worth of US$1.7 billion, she's earned every bit of her style icon status. Never one to shy away from a statement piece, Rihanna has long embraced the world of luxury timepieces, making curated picks, forging relationships with top watchmakers, and consistently stepping out in rare, droolworthy models. From diamond-studded fine jewellery to bold, custom one-offs, here are some of the stand-out watches in Riri's personal collection. Last month, she stepped out in a floaty, ruffled Saint Laurent maternity dress, grounded with practical Puma trainers – and on her wrist, a not-so-practical Audemars Piguet Royal Oak 77450OR, fresh off the line. This 34mm beauty is crafted from 18-carat pink gold with a matching pink Grande Tapisserie dial and integrated bracelet – a monochrome masterpiece that's as feminine as it is fierce. It's newly released and already making waves in the resale market, commanding prices close to US$90,000. Cartier Panthère de Cartier The Panthère de Cartier watch in yellow gold. Photo: Handout Another fabulous women's watch in Rihanna's collection is the oh-so-chic Cartier Panthère de Cartier, a timepiece she's been spotted wearing on repeat. It's no surprise why: this elegant yellow-gold timepiece is the definition of versatile. With its petite, polished silhouette, it's the kind of watch that works for just about anything, from red carpets and power lunches to late-night parties and casual errand runs. It's quiet luxury at its best – and, worth somewhere in the neighbourhood of US$28,200, it's a nice affordable price point … if you're a billionaire pop star and entrepreneur, of course. Cartier Santos Rihanna's also been seen wearing the Santos de Cartier watch. Photo: Handout Rihanna's love for Cartier doesn't stop at the Panthère. She's also been seen wearing the iconic Cartier Santos, a watch that shares the same sleek design language but with a more structured, industrial edge. Where the Panthère flows like jewellery thanks to its silky, five-link bracelet, the Santos leans tougher: a bold square case, exposed screws and chunkier links that make it feel more unisex. The Fenty Beauty founder was spotted wearing it out and about, running errands like grocery shopping (she's just like us!) stacking it with gold bangles (OK, not just like us), proving that luxury doesn't need an occasion. Meet the duo behind Nom Life on Instagram and YouTube, a love letter to Asian food, family
Ewa and Jeromy Ko met while working at a Chinese restaurant in Cleveland, in the US state of Ohio. Ewa, who was 18 and waitressing, and Jeromy, a 20-year-old busboy, grew up in the food industry. 'My father worked in restaurants, and Jeromy's family owned a restaurant, so we've been in the food space since we could hold a tray without falling over,' says Ewa. The couple, who recently celebrated their 10-year wedding anniversary, are still in the business of food today, but in a slightly different capacity – one they could never have envisaged. They are the creators of Nom Life, a food and travel social media platform with more than half a million Instagram followers and 115,000 subscribers on YouTube. 'We feel so fortunate and never imagined that we would be here doing this as a career,' says Ewa via Zoom from New York, where the couple is now based. Feature of the week: Advika Mittal's story ‘The Haunting of Hollow Creek'
Do you have something to share? Send us your poetry, stories, school events and other reports using this form . In the small town of Hollow Creek, whispers of the old Miller house sent chills down spines. Abandoned for decades, it loomed at the end of a twisted path, its windows like dark eyes watching every move. One fateful evening, a group of friends – Liam, Sarah, and Jake – decided to explore the infamous house. Armed with flashlights and a sense of bravado, they made their way through the overgrown yard, the moon casting eerie shadows on the ground. As the door creaked open, it revealed a dimly lit hallway adorned with peeling wallpaper and dust-covered furniture. 'This place is creepy,' Sarah whispered, her voice trembling. 'Come on, it's just an old house,' Liam replied, trying to sound brave. They ventured deeper, the floorboards groaning beneath their feet. Each step felt like an intrusion, as if the house itself were alive and aware. In the living room, they found a cracked mirror hung crookedly on the wall. As they gazed into it, a figure appeared behind them – a fleeting shadow that vanished when they turned. Jake laughed nervously, but a knot formed in Sarah's stomach. The atmosphere grew heavier, the air thick with dread. Suddenly, a loud bang echoed from upstairs. They froze, hearts racing. Before anyone could respond, a cold breeze swept through the room, extinguishing their flashlights. Darkness enveloped them. They scrambled for the door, but it slammed shut. A chilling laughter filled the air. The friends huddled together, desperate for a way out. Then, through the darkness, a faint glow appeared – a woman in a tattered dress, her eyes hollow and sorrowful. 'Leave this place,' she whispered. The door creaked open, and they bolted into the night.
