Bitcoin reclaims $106k as bulls charge back: What's driving the crypto market rally today?-
Bitcoin is back in the spotlight, crossing $106,000 again after a geopolitical shift gave bulls a reason to step in. The leading cryptocurrency saw a sharp rebound after US President Donald Trump announced a ceasefire agreement between Iran and Israel. This surprise move calmed global market jitters, especially concerns around oil supply disruptions, and gave crypto investors renewed confidence to pile back into risk assets.
Within 24 hours, Bitcoin jumped back above the $106K mark, reversing earlier losses where it had briefly dipped below $100,000 for the first time in 45 days. This rally wasn't just about Bitcoin—Ethereum, Solana, Sui, and several other altcoins joined the party with gains ranging from 6% to over 13%.

What's fueling the crypto rally today?
The latest rally appears to be driven by a mix of geopolitical developments and renewed investor risk appetite:

: Markets are reacting to news of a possible ceasefire between Iran and Israel, which has led to a global relief rally. As risk aversion fades, traders are rotating back into volatile assets like cryptocurrencies.
Market Sentiment Shift

Is the crypto bull run here to stay?
While today's momentum is certainly encouraging, analysts warn of potential volatility ahead. The ceasefire between Iran and Israel remains tenuous, and any escalation could send markets into another tailspin.
Additionally, upcoming U.S. economic data and Federal Reserve commentary could influence the crypto market's next move. Traders are watching inflation indicators and interest rate updates closely, as any surprises there could either fuel or flatten the current rally.
Why did Bitcoin surge after Trump's ceasefire deal?
Bitcoin's rally appears closely tied to a sudden shift in global sentiment. President Trump's announcement of a ceasefire between Iran and Israel cooled down fears of military escalation in the Middle East, which had been weighing on investor confidence across global markets. Edul Patel, CEO and co-founder of Mudrex, explained that this development helped restore geopolitical stability and reduced the immediate threat of oil disruptions—a key risk factor.
According to Patel, this triggered renewed interest in risk assets like cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin's price climbed 3.56% and was last seen trading at $105,077.64, with a strong 24-hour trading volume of $64.85 billion. In the past day alone, the price has fluctuated between $99,705.75 and $106,116.86, keeping traders on high alert.
Is the Federal Reserve's next move influencing crypto prices?
Yes, and traders are watching closely. While the ceasefire brought in short-term bullish energy, all eyes are now on the upcoming speech by US Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell. Market watchers expect any dovish tone—especially hints of possible rate cuts—could push Bitcoin beyond its current resistance level of $107,700, according to Mudrex's Edul Patel.
There's strong support forming near $103,200, suggesting that even if Bitcoin cools off slightly, it may remain on firm ground unless new global shocks emerge.
Other altcoins also rallied sharply:
Sui (SUI) rose by 12.63%
Solana (SOL) climbed 7.84%
Ripple (XRP) gained 6.85%
Cardano (ADA) increased 6.78%
Hyperliquid (HYPE) was up 4.42%
Binance Coin (BNB) added 3.12%
Even Tether (USDT), the leading stablecoin pegged to the US dollar, saw a slight uptick, trading at $1, up 0.04%.
What's the sentiment in the broader crypto market?
According to Vikram Subburaj, CEO of Giottus Crypto Platform, the crypto market has switched back into a risk-on mode. With traditional equity markets bouncing and gold prices slipping, it's clear that investors are feeling a bit more optimistic. Subburaj pointed out that Bitcoin is back in its previous consolidation zone above $105,000, suggesting that this level may now act as a launchpad for future gains—provided there are no surprises from the Fed or new geopolitical tensions.
Which cryptocurrencies are trending today?
In addition to the major players, a few coins are catching traders' eyes on CoinMarketCap's trending list this Tuesday morning. These include:
Solana (SOL)
Ethereum (ETH)
Movement (MOVE)
Sei (SEI)
BUILDon (B)
Caila (CA)
These names have gained momentum either due to strong price action, developer activity, or community engagement. Traders often watch these trending coins for short-term trading opportunities or emerging narratives.
Can Bitcoin stay above $106,000 or is another dip coming?
That's the big question now. While Bitcoin has recovered impressively, profit-booking at higher levels has already started. Still, strong volume and bullish sentiment suggest the move has legs. Much will depend on macroeconomic signals from the US Federal Reserve and any unexpected global developments. If Powell's speech later today indicates easing ahead, crypto bulls may get the fuel they need to push Bitcoin above the $107,700 resistance.
But if he sounds cautious or hawkish, expect a short-term pullback, possibly testing support near $103,200.
Bitcoin's sharp rise above $106,000 signals a powerful comeback for the crypto market, fueled by easing geopolitical fears and renewed risk appetite. With Ethereum and altcoins tagging along, the market is showing strength—but the Fed's next move could decide whether this rally continues or cools down. Either way, traders have plenty to watch, from trending coins to central bank signals.
FAQs:
Q1: Why did Bitcoin rise above $106k today?
Bitcoin jumped after Trump's ceasefire news boosted global market confidence and crypto buying.
Q2: Will Fed Chair Powell's speech affect Bitcoin prices?
Yes, a dovish signal from Powell could push Bitcoin above its $107,700 resistance level.

Only 30% of MahaRERA recovery warrants executed; Rs 527cr still to be recovered

Pune: MahaRERA's progress on recovery warrant has remained slow, with only 31% of cases executed. Despite state govt's directive to dispose of these cases within three months, merely Rs 233 crore has been recovered out of Rs 760 crore due in 1,212 cases across Maharashtra, officials told TOI on Saturday. The slow progress contradicts revenue minister Chandrakant Bawankule's assurance during the state budget session, where he emphasised speedy execution of MahaRERA's recovery warrant orders and clearing the backlog within three months. The recovery warrants are issued under Section 40(1) of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act (RERA) against developers who neither complete projects nor refund homebuyers. Once issued by MahaRERA, these orders are forwarded to district collectors for action, including property attachment and recovery of dues. The districts of Mumbai Suburban, Pune and Thane continue to report the highest backlog of such pending cases. It requires more proactive coordination from revenue officials," said a senior MahaRERA official, adding that it was despite the appointment of additional collectors in multiple districts to expedite the execution of recovery warrants. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Top 5 Dividend Stocks for May 2025 Seeking Alpha Read More Undo Further compounding delays are 172 complaints, involving Rs 157 crore, that are currently pending before the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), which handles cases related to insolvency and bankruptcy. These cases are in legal limbo, adding to the frustration of affected homebuyers, stated officials In a broader push for accountability, PM Narendra Modi had addressed the issue directly at the Pragati review meeting on May 29. Expressing dissatisfaction with the mere counting of "disposed" complaints, the PM questioned whether states genuinely ensured redressal. In response, Maharashtra chief secretary Sujata Saunik held a review meeting in the second week of June with collectorates across the state, directing officials to fast-track execution of recovery warrants and ensure accountability. Additional revenue officers have since been appointed to assist with enforcement. Senior citizen Arun Sheth, who has been waiting for over four years for action against a developer, said, "There's been no real movement on my case despite repeated follow-ups. It's just silence." Activists and consumer groups have also called for better monitoring tools. "MahaRERA should introduce a real-time dashboard like UP RERA's. There should be a clearly defined SOP and phase-wise targets, not just vague timelines," said activist R Prabhu. MahaRERA officials said the issue was likely to be raised in the upcoming legislative session. "It's important that revenue officials are able to give a concrete and time-bound plan for executing these orders," an official noted.

China's big snub to US, issues license for THIS thing to European countries, Trump left in..., it is...

New Delhi: China has started issuing export licenses for rare earth elements and magnets to European companies. This has been confirmed by the South China Morning Post, citing sources in the European Union. This is being described as a big setback for the USA, as President Donald Trump has been trying his best to get this license from China for the last several months. Apart from this, European governments and companies have been lobbying for several weeks to reduce export restrictions from China. China imposed these restrictions in response to US President Donald Trump's tariffs. Apart from the US, European countries were also included in the Chinese sanctions. What did the Chinese Commerce Ministry say? Earlier on Thursday, June 26, China's Commerce Ministry said that it was 'expediting the approval of rare earth export licenses' for EU firms 'in accordance with the law.' Ministry spokesman He Yadong said, 'China is ready to further enhance communication with relevant countries on export controls, actively facilitating convenient and mutually beneficial trade.' EU sources have certainly said that there is no such thing as a green channel between China and the EU regarding this, but they have seen the Chinese ministry giving export licenses to EU countries and companies. What's next for China and European Union? Next month, a summit of China and the European Union leaders is going to be held. President Xi Jinping, Foreign Minister Wang Yi and senior EU leaders are going to meet in this conference. In such a situation, China's resumption of this license process can lead to easing of tense relations between the two sides. The European Union believes that they are caught in the middle of the trade and technological war of the two superpowers. In such a situation, they need a permanent solution to stay away from these matters. Speaking at a webinar on Thursday, the EU's trade chief for China, Eva Valle Lagares, used sharp words. She said it was 'unclear' whether Beijing had acted like 'killing chickens to scare away monkeys' and the EU had been caught in the crossfire. She was referring to the China-US trade war, which has Europe at its core and is suffering the most as it also faces tariffs from the Donald Trump administration.

World's biggest deal has happened between two countries, to directly impact economy, millions of people will be...

World's biggest deal has happened between two countries, to directly impact economy, millions of people will be… US-China Trade Agreement: In a major development, a crucial agreement has been signed between the United States and China on the trade framework. Both countries finalised the terms that were discussed in Geneva. According to experts, the deal was done so quickly because America's economic condition is deteriorating at a fast pace, and GDP growth has plunged into negative territory. What Are The Major Points Of The Deal? As per the deal, Beijing will supply rare earth minerals to the US, essential for several sectors such as jet engines, wind turbines and electronics. In return, America agreed to remove all the trade restrictions, including all taxes. Notably, the US imposed trade tariffs on China before the London talks. US Trade Agreement America is planning to finalising trade agreements with as many as 10 major countries. These deals will be done before the reimposition of high tariffs. The deadline is July 9. A wave of happiness swept through global markets, as Asian stock markets and European futures saw a rise. Global equity index reached a new record, due to trade deal expectations. Who are the other potential trade partners of America and India? Global Markets Welcomed The Decision A wave of happiness has swept through global markets. Asian and European markets opened and remained in the green throughout the day on Friday. Global equity index reached a new record, due to trade deal expectations. Is US Planning Trade Deal With India? A delegation led by Rajesh Agarwal is negotiating the deal in Washington on behalf of the country. Recently, United States President Donald Trump hinted at a 'Big Deal' with India. However, Japan's trade representative Ryosei Akazawa has said that they cannot accept the 25% car tariff proposed by the US. ' We are continuously making serious efforts on the tariff proposals of the US,' Japan's Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshimasa Hayashi said during a media briefing. What Complications Does US-China Deal Have? The deal between China and the US is not a comprehensive trade agreement. It means that the deal has several issued in it like – American exporters have a level playing field in the Chinese market. There are still concerns related to fentanyl drug trafficking. Another example is: US has allowed companies to export ethane gas to China, but with a condition that it cannot be exported there without approval. What Will Be The Impact On India? The new US-China trade deal includes steps like the supply of rare earth, reducing tariffs, and agreeing on new terms. It is crucial step towards reducing tensions between the two countries. However, in recent years, when the trade war between US-China was at its peak, India benefited. During the trade war, America had imposed tariffs on several Chinese goods. Following this Indian companies (such as textiles, pharma, engineering) got the opportunity to export their products. Now if America is agreeing on importing goods from China, some of India's export sectors may feel the heat. China Dominates The Supply Of Rare Earth Minerals It is worth noting that the Dragon dominates the rare earth minerals market. These minerals are used in electric vehicles, solar panels, chips and defence equipment. If China resumes the supply of rare earth to America, then India will also get the benefit of stability in prices. The United States is negotiating a potential trade agreement with ten nations, including a possible agreement with India. This agreement could grant India preferential trade access. Easing US-China tensions is boosting global investor confidence, potentially leading to increased foreign portfolio investment and stock market growth in India.
