Best Day Ever: Chef BJ Lieberman
Catch up quick: A 2024 James Beard nominee, Lieberman is known for Chapman's Eat Market (RIP 😔) and Ginger Rabbit Jazz Lounge.
He also recently opened Metsi's, a new Italian concept.
For the latest entry in our Best Day Ever series, here's his perfect day:
🎶 Music to start your day: In the morning, I like something peppy — maybe Vampire Weekend or '80s synthpop.
When I'm preparing at the restaurant, it's always Drive-By Truckers or Jason Isbell.
🍳 Breakfast: I'm torn between two favorites: Lox and Fox in the Snow.
I'll either get a sesame bagel with egg and cheese from Lox, or Fox in the Snow's classic breakfast sandwich.
🏌️♂️ Morning activity: If I have free time, I'm either spending it with my 4-year-old son or golfing.
I love to wake up early and finish a round before 10am.
🌯 Lunch: Easy — Joya's. The wrap snack is my favorite food item in Columbus.
My favorite dish is Speck's pomodoro. It's the reason the Metsi's menu doesn't have a pomodoro dish. It's perfect.
📺 Evening activity: Probably binging a bit of a TV show — right now, "The Last of Us" or "The Righteous Gemstones."
My wife and I getting to spend time sitting near each other is pretty rare these days, so I take every chance I get.

"Is she naked?": Fantastic 4 Invisible Woman actor Vanessa Kirby reacts to Marvel Rivals skins, threatens film audience with a good time and says "watch out for the sequel"
When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. Maybe you play Marvel Rivals for the challenge, or for your friends, but there are many other people that play the hero shooter for Sue Storm, the Invisible Woman, and her very visible curves, including the cast of the new Fantastic Four movie, who streamer Loserfruit gave a tour of the game in a new video. Loserfruit immediately gets the actors into the deep end: she shows Invisible Woman actress Vanessa Kirby Sue Storm's infamous Malice skin, an infinitely popular strappy, black thing that covers her face, hands, and little else. Impressed with Marvel Rivals', you know, assets, Kirby snaps her fingers and says, "Thank you. This is my favorite bit of her as well." "Watch out, like I said, for the sequel," she says threateningly. "Costume designer, take note," solemnly says The Last of Us and Mister Fantastic actor Pedro Pascal, frowning a bit like he's wondering if his superhero could rock a pair of thigh-highs, too. Kirby is a bit more surprised when Loserfruit guides her through actual Marvel Rivals gameplay, however, and when the Invisible Woman actually turns beach-blue invisible, Kirby wonders: "Is she naked?" Loserfruit reassures her that Sue isn't naked, she's just invisible, but then Kirby gets stuck behind a row of bushes and forgets about it. Later, after spending enough time staring at Sue's ass with Fantastic Four castmates Pascal and Stranger Things' Joseph Quinn, the Human Torch, Kirby comes around, deciding Sue is the "coolest" character in Marvel Rivals. "I'm in love," says Pascal. "Yeah, babes. You two like this view?" Kirby asks compassionately. "Yeah, I like the view," responds Quinn, and Sue Storm's bank account suddenly triples. MCU boss Kevin Feige says his son "feigned interest in a supportive way" until he started playing Marvel Rivals: "Suddenly, he was asking me to tell him more about Hela." Solve the daily Crossword

Simu Liu Calls Pedro Pascal Online Hate Campaign ‘F—— Boring'
Marvel star Simu Liu has defended Pedro Pascal amid the ongoing criticism of the actor. The Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings took to social media to praise Pascal's latest film, The Fantastic Four: First Steps, after attending the premiere. In a separate post, he also talked about the 'online hate,' seemingly referring to the actor. Simu Liu shows support to Pedro Pascal amid hate campaign Barbie star Simu Liu loved everything about the new Marvel film, The Fantastic Four: First Steps, including its cast, which includes Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Joseph Quinn. The 36-year-old recently gushed over the movie on Threads while also backing up The Last of Us star, who has been the center of rampant online flak. Liu shared a glimpse of his red carpet moment at the premiere of The Fantastic Four with the caption, 'Love this movie, love pedro, love vanessa, love joe, love ebon…' In another thread, he seemed to refer to the alleged hate that Pascal is getting, writing, 'manufactured hate for someone simply because they're experiencing a moment of extreme visibility (ie a press tour they contractually obligated to do) is really f——- boring.' For the unversed, the criticism against Pascal started from several online troll accounts claiming that the Materialists star is 'touchy' around his co-actors. Fans mostly pointed out the close relationship between Pascal and Kirby. While both the actors have been transparent about their friendship, some netizens described Pascal's behavior as 'weird' around female co-stars. Recently, fans also found videos of Pascal's playful interactions with Willem Dafoe's wife, Giada Colagrande, during Dafoe's Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony in January 2024. The clip shows Pascal touching Colagrande's chin for a few seconds while standing next to Dafoe. While the short video lacks any context, some social media users claimed that Dafoe's expression might have appeared to change after Pascal touched Colagrande's chin. While some netizens are trolling Pascal's behavior, many have also come to the actor's defense, condemning the unnecessary backlash. One fan noted under Liu's post, 'It's truly pathetic, and so are both the men and the women that are turning this into a debacle OVER TWO CONSENTING ADULTS. When consent has ALWAYS been the key factor, suddenly doesn't matter because one is married, like? Make it make sense.'
