Raftaar has come out in support of Uorfi Javed after she revealed getting abusive messages and threats after winning The Traitors.
Reality TV star Uorfi Javed and professional poker player Nikita Luther emerged as the winners of The Traitors, and took home the prize money of Rs 70.05 lakh. After her win, Uorfi shared a post on Instagram, revealing that she received countless abusive messages and threats after her win. Now, rapper Raftaar, her fellow contestant on The Traitors, has come out in support of Uorfi, saying that she won the reality show 'fair and square'. He wrote that people should accept the fact that she has won, whether they like her or not. He also added that receiving hate even in victory is a sign of a greater triumph.
After The Traitors winner Uorfi Javed shared the post about receiving abusive messages, Raftaar showed his support for her. In his Instagram story, he wrote, 'You can love or hate @urf7i and @nikitaluther But they won fair and square. Swallow the pill and go to sleep. Meanwhile, YouTuber Purav Jh a, who was also a part of The Traitors, re-shared Uorfi Javed's post, calling out the abusive messages she has been receiving for winning the show. He urged fans to 'show some love'. Purav dropped one of the posts with abusive messages for Uorfi Javed. He penned, 'This is totally not acceptable. Kisi ko kuch bhe bolna ye galat hai yaarr… doston show some love to @urf7i Apka pyaar he hume khushi aur motivation deta hai (It's wrong to say such things to someone, yaar… friends, show some love to @urf7i. After winning The Traitors, Uorfi shared screenshots of several abusive messages she received on Instagram. In her caption, she wrote, 'When we you don't like something a girl does, just drop the 'R' word. Not the first time I've been threatened or abused like this but this time it's not because of my clothes but because I won a show . Imagine being so petty that when your favourite player doesn't win you resort to abusing and threatening . These are the most decent ones I uploaded .
