The PS5 release is also outperforming the PC version
This is despite more gamers playing the game on Xbox
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is selling faster on PlayStation 5 than it did on PC and Xbox.
That's according to data from head of market analysis Rhys Eliott at market research firm Alinea Analytics. The company estimates that 'just under 5 million' Xbox gamers have tried Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, though 'the overwhelming majority' did so via the Xbox Game Pass service.
As a result, the game is now selling faster on PS5 than it did on Xbox, despite having fewer players on the platform. It is also beating the PC launch (via Steam), selling '28% faster' in the same period.

Bear in mind that the PS5 version of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle launched on April 17, 2025, more than four months after it came to Xbox and PC and after its initial marketing cycle.
The firm notes that Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has sold more than 300,000 copies on PC (via Steam) to date, with the PS5 version expected to exceed that.
What does this mean for the future of Xbox?

Eliott argues that it's clear that Indiana Jones and the Great Circle would have sold even faster on PS5 if it were available on day one, as it would have benefited from the initial marketing push.
This will likely push Xbox to release more on PS5 on day one in the future, despite potential outcry from some of the most vocal core fans.

It seems undeniable that the inclusion of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle on Xbox Game Pass has harmed its sales on the platform. According to Alinea Analytics, subscription numbers 'have largely saturated' and are unlikely to grow, leaving Xbox in a bit of an awkward position where drastic changes are needed to grow revenue.
Day one PS5 releases could help offset the lost sales on Xbox and the lack of new subscribers, helping releases remain profitable. The firm argues that eventually all first-party games will release on PlayStation platforms on day one, which seems likely.

Microsoft's Free New Windows Upgrade: How It Works And How To Get It

Microsoft stops supporting Windows 10 in just over 100 days on Oct.14, 2025. But on June 25, the company introduced the Extended Security Updates (ESU) program, which will mean users will supported for an extra year, for free. Windows 10 and Windows 11 This is a big change: until a few days ago, to gain an extra year, you needed to pay the company $30. Now, there's a free option, but there are things you need to do. Essentially, you need to link your Microsoft account and sync Settings to the cloud. First, as Microsoft explains, you need to sign in to Windows on a device running Windows 10, version 22H2 Home, Professional, Pro Education, or Workstation edition with the latest update installed. To enroll your device in ESU, go to Settings, then Update & Security, then Windows Update. Assuming you meet the requirements, you should see a link to enroll. If you choose not to sync your PC settings, the $30 fee still applies. Windows Latest, ahead of the game as usual, has already done all this as part of the Insider Program, so has seen it in action. 'In our tests, it just takes a few seconds to extend support. You'll see the 'Enroll now' button on the right side of the Windows Update. On some installations, it also appears below the Check for updates button. I assume Microsoft is A/B testing the toggle, but once you click the 'Enroll now' button, it opens a pop-up window titled 'Enroll in Extended Security Updates.' The pop-up says it'll help you extend security updates support beyond October 14, 2025, when Windows 10 support ends,' Mayank Parmar explains. The wizard will check whether your PC meets the requirements which are not, of course, the same as those needed to upgrade to Windows 11. When it's all done, a success screen appears. 'You're enrolled in Extended Security Updates through Oct. 13, 2026,'it says. If you're really not interested in moving on from Windows 10, and that's the case for hundreds of millions of users, this is a simple way to keep your PC secure until late 2026 for free.

Here is Why Constellation Energy (CEG) Gained This Week

The share price of Constellation Energy Corporation (NASDAQ:CEG) surged by 5.25% between June 18 and June 26, 2025, putting it among the Energy Stocks that Gained the Most This Week. A close up of a wind turbine producing electricity as the sun sets. Constellation Energy Corporation (NASDAQ:CEG) is the largest producer of carbon-free energy in the US, with over 34,200 MW of generating capacity consisting of nuclear, wind, solar, natural gas, and hydroelectric assets. Constellation Energy Corporation (NASDAQ:CEG) received a boost this week after it was announced that it expects to restart the Three Mile Island plant as early as 2027 instead of the original forecast of 2028, after being put on a fast track to connect to the regional grid. Originally shut in 2019 for economic reasons, the revived 837 MW pressurized water reactor will provide carbon-free energy to Microsoft data centers as part of the 20-year power purchase agreement Constellation signed with the tech giant last year. Why Your 9-to-5 Feels More Like 24/7, Report Says

One in three employees feels that the pace of work in today's world has become impossible to keep up with, new research by Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) found. In its 2025 Work Trend Index Annual Report, Microsoft charts the emergence of what it calls a "Frontier Firm," or a company that's "redesigning business processes around AI and agents to scale rapidly, operate with agility, and generate value faster than traditional companies." These new, ultraproductive companies will be hindered by one major roadblock: the seemingly infinite workday. Invest early in CancerVax's breakthrough tech aiming to disrupt a $231B market. Back a bold new approach to cancer treatment with high-growth potential. This infinite workday "starts early, mostly in email, and quickly swells to a focus-sapping flood of messages, meetings, and interruptions," the report says. An average employee is online by six am, reviewing a fraction of the 117 emails they'll receive that day. By the time they're entering peak productivity hours, between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. and again between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., they're knee-deep in meetings and receiving workflow interruptions every two minutes. Things aren't winding down in the evening, either. Microsoft's data shows that there has been a 16% increase in meetings after 8 p.m. year-over-year. Additionally, the average employee receives 50+ teams messages outside of core work hours. Trending: This Jeff Bezos-backed startup will allow you to become a landlord in just 10 minutes, with minimum investments as low as $100. All of this leads to a sense of exhaustion and an increased mental load. Just under half of all employees, 48%, and a full 52% of leaders say their "work feels chaotic and fragmented," thanks to the frenetic pace and constant digital noise. Microsoft says that while the trend of the 24/7 workday is concerning, it doesn't have to be that way. "AI can give us the leverage to redesign the rhythm of work, refocus our teams on new and differentiating work, and fix what has become a seemingly infinite workday. The question isn't whether work will change. It's whether we will," the report reads. Outsourcing mundane tasks is a good place to start. "By deploying AI and agents to streamline low-value tasks—status meetings, routine reports, admin churn—leaders can reclaim time for what moves the business: deep work, fast decisions, and focused execution," the report says. But it's "agent bosses" or "human agent teams" that are the real future of work, the report says. This new generation of professionals will work smarter, not harder, by deploying AI agents to do the most routine aspects of their work so that they can focus on what matters most, "fast, high-quality insights that benefit the entire team."
