Sky's move to hire Kemp is their latest attempt to attract younger viewers to their programmes. The broadcaster have had a turbulent summer, with seven senior staff made redundant in June including presenters Melissa Reddy and Rob Wooton. 'And to be honest with you and at that time when I finished, there weren't that many courses around that I would go onto after. 'There weren't many postgraduate courses, there weren't many that did NCTJ [National Council for the Training of Journalists] qualifications, I was lucky to find the one that I did.'
