Footage of CEO allegedly having affair at Coldplay concert goes viral

Euronews6 days ago
Footage of a tech CEO apparently being caught in a compromising position with an employee on 'kiss-cam' at a Coldplay gig has gone viral.
The moment happened during the band's Music Of The Spheres tour at the Gillette Stadium near Boston on Wednesday night (16 July).
The exposing moment had the kiss-cam panning onto Andy Byron, CEO of the tech platform Astronomer, who had his arms wrapped around a woman who is reported to be Kristin Cabot, the HR chief of Astronomer.
As soon as the two saw themselves on the screens, Cabot covered her face and turned, while Byron quickly dived out of shot.
Coldplay frontman Chris Martin was quick to comment: 'Look at these two,' before adding 'Either they're having an affair or they're just very shy.'
Watch the now-viral moment here:
British tabloid The Sun reports that Astronomer is worth more than $1.3billion (€1.1bn) and Byron has served as CEO of the company since 2023.
Cabot joined as Chief People Officer nine months ago.
As you can imagine, the internet had a field day...
Neither Byron nor Cabot have commented on the allegations.
All together now - to the tune of 'Fix You': "Lights will guide you home / And ignite your bones / And I will try to f*** you..."

Phoebe Philo continues her momentum with the D collection

Less than two years after launching the label that bears her name, Phoebe Philo is forging ahead. The British designer has just unveiled her D collection, the fourth since her debut in October 2023, which is still sold mainly on her e-commerce site. Last year, the brand began poking its nose into the wholesale network through a handful of select multi-brand boutiques. It now seems ready to take the plunge with the opening of its first store. This new collection follows in the footsteps of its predecessors, focusing on some 40 looks (the company advocates limited production). Once again, the starting point is the wardrobe classics, with quality pieces in beautiful materials, comfortable yet cool, that make you want to wear them. These include trench coats, slim-fitting jackets, sculptural tops, and voluminous coats like this black leather model. Jackets are rounded in shape, whether in leather, with a wide collar or in the form of a lined ball. Shearling continues to make its presence felt, in a coat, a muff, puffy shearling breeches, a fun and cozy catskin-like jumpsuit, or in these wildly furry pants. Most of the looks are monochrome in neutral tones (white, black, brown), in pure minimalist style, with the exception of a black and gray plaid shirt and pants, or flashes of yellow shearling. The Phoebe Philo woman favors loose, well-cut men's suits in mottled fabrics or flowing pants, sometimes decorated with fringe or cargo style, to be worn with a simple tank top, t-shirt, black shirt or trailing top. In addition to ready-to-wear, Phoebe Philo also offers bags, jewelry, and shoes, such as these new multi-strap flat sandals. The brand, which has adopted a very minimalist communication style from the outset, gives no further information on product prices. It merely points out that, initially, the work was presented in the form of a series of editions that were unveiled and immediately available for purchase. Together, these various editions formed the first collection. Since October 2024, the collections are now presented in their entirety a few months before they go on sale, returning to a more traditional rhythm. Presented as a preview on the website, the D collection will be available from the beginning of 2026 and will continue to be sold until May. It will be distributed on the brand's e-commerce site, and in the physical network via shop-in-shops dedicated to Phoebe Philo at London's Dover Street Market and Galeries Lafayette Haussmann in Paris, as well as in selected multi-brand boutiques worldwide. This model could soon evolve with the opening of a physical boutique in London. According to the American newspaper WWD, this will take place at Carlos Place in the prestigious Mayfair district, not far from The Row boutique and the historic Connaught Hotel, at the entrance to Mount Street, a more quiet and discreet thoroughfare than neighboring New Bond Street. Contacted by Phoebe Philo declined to comment. The English designer set up her Phoebe Philo house in London in September 2020 with her husband, Maximilian Wigram, welcoming LVMH as a minority shareholder. Earlier this year, she added to her team by appointing Bruno Sialelli, former creative director of Lanvin, as design director for her ready-to-wear collection.

Texas's Alamo honors Ozzy despite notorious urination incident

The stunt earned him a years-long ban from playing in San Antonio but after repeated apologies, the organization behind the Alamo site paid homage to Osbourne's journey "from regret to reconciliation" in light of his death on Tuesday. "We at the Alamo are saddened to hear of the passing of legendary musician Ozzy Osbourne. His relationship with the Alamo was marked initially by a deeply disrespectful incident in 1982," the institution posted on social media. "However, redemption and reconciliation eventually became part of his history as well." The incident saw the self-styled "Prince of Darkness" -- who was wearing his wife Sharon's dress, in defiance of her bid to prevent him from going out by hiding his own clothes -- relieve himself on the 60-foot cenotaph that stands as a Texas war memorial. The Alamo was the setting of a much-mythologized battle between Mexican and Texan troops in 1836. Osbourne was arrested and barred for years from performing in San Antonio. But a decade later, he personally apologized to the then-mayor "and expressed genuine remorse for his actions," including donating $10,000 to the Daughters of the Republic of Texas. In 2015 he revisited the Alamo grounds "to learn and appreciate the site's history," said the institution, which added that Osbourne "openly demonstrated humility and understanding." That visit was filmed for a television show on The History Channel. "At the Alamo, we honor history in all its complexities," read the statement. "Today, we acknowledge Ozzy Osbourne's journey from regret to reconciliation at the historic site, and we extend our condolences to his family, friends, and fans around the world. May he rest in peace." The British metal trailblazer died Tuesday at age 76, mere weeks after he played his final show in his home city of Birmingham.

Inside the UK's biggest showcase of Versace's iconic fashion designs

Arches London Bridge is hosting the UK's largest-ever exhibition of Gianni Versace's work, celebrating the designer's bold legacy from the 1980s to his death in 1997. First shown in Berlin in 2018, the "Gianni Versace Retrospective" now features 450 iconic items - including clothing, sketches, perfumes, and photos - many worn by British icons like Princess Diana, Elton John, Kate Moss and US rapper Tupac Shakur. The show highlights Versace's lasting influence on celebrity culture, fashion collaborations, and his unmistakable creations of the '90s. "We can look back now at the '90s and see how prolific his designs were and how important they were - both culturally and the look of the '90s, but also as an influencer, a craftsman and an artist who was bringing celebrities in, doing collabs like we see every day now," explained Liz Koravos, managing director of Arches London Bridge. It runs until 1 March 2026. Check out the video in the main window for a look inside the exhibition.
