This 250W Charging Station Replaces All Your Chargers, Now at a Record Low Price for Early Prime Day
Amazon's one-day deals are coming out before Prime Day and this year there is a true gem for customers who appreciate speed and efficiency in charging. Although 10,000mAh or 20,000mAh power banks are convenient for charging your phone or tablet while on the move, they do not suffice for quick charging of laptops, tablets, and several devices.
Anker has a bunch to pick up this slack and for now, the Anker 250W GaN-powered charge station is on sale for a record-low $119 from its normal $170. This is a limited-time offer just before Prime Day, and there's a good chance this deal won't be matched during the main event.

The Anker Prime Charger is designed for people who need to charge multiple devices at once including laptops, smartphones, and tablets. It has an output of 250W and is different from normal chargers and even most desktop charging stations. It boasts four USB-C ports and two USB-A ports which can charge a maximum of six devices at a time.
For instance, it can charge a 16-inch MacBook Pro to 50% in 25 minutes through the initial USB-C port which provides up to 140W. This type of speed is not common in desktop chargers and is a productivity game-changer. The rest of the USB-C ports offer plenty of juice for other devices and the two USB-A ports are ideal for older equipment or less power-hungry electronics.
This Anker charger also comes with a 2.26-inch LCD display screen that offers instant feedback on charging status and speed. This real-time visual feedback is easy and pleasing and makes you able to see exactly how much power each device is being provided with. The inclusion of a smart control dial allows immediate energy output adjustments and allows you to ensure each device charges at full speed.
This Anker charger is a smart investment that will pay off for years to come, make sure you grab this deal.

EU tech rules not included in U.S. trade talks, EU Commission says
By Foo Yun Chee and Bart H. Meijer BRUSSELS (Reuters) -The European Union on Monday pushed back against U.S. criticism of its landmark tech rules that many feared could be included in ongoing trade negotiations with the United States and subsequently watered down. Adopted recently, the Digital Markets Act (DMA) seeks to rein in the power of Alphabet, Amazon, Apple, Meta Platforms, Microsoft, China's ByteDance and The Digital Services Act (DSA) requires big online platforms to do more to tackle illegal and harmful content. Both legislations have come under fire from the U.S. administration which says it unfairly targets U.S. tech companies. "The legislations will not be changed. The DMA and the DSA are not on the table in the trade negotiations with the U.S.," spokesperson Thomas Regnier told a daily news conference. He said the EU would not brook any interference from foreign governments on how it enforces its landmark rules which come with hefty fines for violations. "We are not going to adjust the implementation of our legislation based on the actions of third countries. If we started to do that, then we would have to do it with numerous third countries," Regnier said. The EU handed out its first fines to Apple and Meta earlier this year, with both risking further daily fines if regulators find that they have yet to comply with the rules in the coming months.
