"No Kings, No Bezos" read a sign in green neon projected on the St Mark's Campanile tower on Thursday night. Another sign read: "In the time it takes you to read this, Jeff Bezos's wealth has increased by more than your monthly salary." Bezos and Sanchez, a former news anchor and entertainment reporter, celebrated their nuptials with guests including Kim and Khloe Kardashian, Oprah Winfrey and Orlando Bloom. The tech magnate, 61, and Sanchez, 55, are staying at the Aman hotel, a luxury 16th-century palazzo on the Grand Canal with a view of the Rialto bridge. Other A-list guests are staying at the Gritti Palace and the St. Regis. The couple exchanged vows at a black-tie ceremony on the island of San Giorgio Maggiore Friday afternoon, according to Italian media reports. The wedding is thought to have taken place in a vast open-air amphitheatre on the island, which sits across from Venice's iconic St Mark's Square.

Brazilian percussionist Ney Rosauro stuns music fans with glorious Hong Kong concert
The City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong (CCOHK) is no stranger to innovative programmes. Everything from Tango to Latin to original musicals has had its time to shine in concert, as have instruments from the glass harmonica to the theremin – an electronic instrument controlled without physical contact. On June 25, at Hong Kong City Hall, the spotlight fell on Brazilian music, along with an array of percussion instruments such as the marimba, as Brazilian composer and percussionist Ney Rosauro conducted the orchestra in 'Brazilian Fantasy', a programme consisting mainly of his works. Rosauro is one of the most eminent living percussionists and an educator whose etudes and exercises are widely used by music students. Ask any percussionist to name a marimba concerto and most will mention one by Rosauro. On the evening of the performance, City Hall was packed with students and professional percussionists waiting to meet him in person. Renowned Hong Kong-based food critic Chua Lam dies at age 83
Chua Lam, one of Asia's most renowned food critics and columnists to make a mark on Hong Kong's entertainment and culinary scene, died on Wednesday at the age of 83. His death was announced on Chua's Facebook account on Friday afternoon, with the social media post saying that he died peacefully at the Hong Kong Sanatorium and Hospital in the company of his family and friends. 'In accordance with Chua's wishes, no ceremony will be held, and his body was cremated to avoid disturbing his relatives and friends,' the post said. Chua was the author of dozens of books, including travel journals, food critiques and texts on life philosophies, and hosted several cuisine appreciation and travel shows. Advertisement
