The black lithium-ion charger with a black plug and power supply cord is sold via TikTok but it presents a serious risk of electric shock.
This is because the pins are not the correct length and cannot be safely plugged into the socket.
OPPS explained: "If the user touches the exposed pins, they could receive an electric shock."
Improvements are also required to marking, labelling and documentation.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Plugs and Sockets etc (Safety) Regulations 1994.
And it has therefore been recalled from end users and the listing has been removed by the online marketplace.
On TikTok, people discover a wide selection of products through Shoppable videos, interactive live streams and an expansive marketplace.
They can then conveniently make purchases without leaving the app.
Full details of the product are - Li-ion charger model 4220, plug model LP-60L with the barcode 911014096779.
Owners of the product are advised to contact the distributor they purchased it from to request redress.
Meanwhile, an urgent warning has been issued about tumble dryers sold in the UK that pose a fire risk as owners are told to 'stop using immediately'.
'Contaminated' Costco snack recalled as 'small pieces of wood' are found inside it – eight products are affected
OPSS have told owners to stop using the affected appliances and to take urgent safety precautions.
Only yesterday, in another product recall - milk was urgently pulled from shelves over traces of deadly bacteria which kills one in 20.
Asda also urgently recalled £12 baby clothing over a 'risk of injury' to tots as parents were warned to 'stop using immediately'.
And a Health food brand urgently recalled a popular snack over E.coli fears as shoppers warned 'do not eat'.
It came after Lidl recently told shoppers not to eat one of its savoury snacks over fears it could contain salmonella.
And just last month, Iceland recalled its Vegetable Lasagne after the possible presence of hard plastic pieces was discovered in packs with best-before dates of 23 July 2026 and 30 July 2026.
A popular pasta sauce was also urgently recalled from supermarket shelves after fears emerged that some jars contained shards of glass.

B&M shoppers race to grab ‘beautiful' bedroom essential scanning for just £10 – it's a dupe of a £199 version

B&M shoppers have been rushing out to buy a bedroom essential scanning for just a tenner. The eye-catching lampshade has been compared by eagle-eyed shoppers to a swanky £199 version from a high end shop. Advertisement 1 B&M customers are rushing to scoop a £10 lampshade from their local store The latter, a Athena pendant light, is available from Neptune but one shopper spotted a similar one which won't break the bank. TikTok user, Home of Chelon, shared the lamp shade saying: 'Neptune vibes but B&M price'. Viewers flocked to applaud the find, with one user calling the lampshade 'so beautiful." Retailers only tend to slash their prices so dramatically to clear excess stock, so B&M's £10 version might not be on sale in your local store. Advertisement It might be worth calling your local branch to see if they have it in stock before heading out to buy one. You should always shop around before you buy a product in case you find a better deal. Use comparison sites like Google Shopping or the Latest Deals app to help you find the best price. You can find your nearest B&M home store by putting your town or postcode into its 'store finder' tool on its website. Advertisement And it is not the only bargain offer found in B&M in recent weeks. Shoppers went mad for a stylish table and bench set which scanned for £40 instead of £110. McDonald's Menu Shake-Up, £277k Energy Refund, and B&M Store Boom – Money News Today Elsewhere, shoppers went wild for a TV unit which was reduced from £80 down to £10. The living room staple, which can support flatscreens up to 55 inches, comes in a stylish light grey to upgrade your living space. Advertisement Fans have also been raving about an inflatable sun lounger which was reduced from £18 down to £10. Plus, one shopper even spotted a children's Crocs dupe for 10p. How to save at B&M The best time to get cut-price products is 10am on a Wednesday, according to one ex B&M manager. This is when staff slash items to as little as 10p to clear excess stock and make way for new products. Advertisement Deals expert Tom Church said to keep an eye out for red sticker products as well. These are added to special buy products that have been reduced in price.

I'm begging strangers to fund my ex-council house renovation, I spent £15k but nowhere near done & spent half my budget

A YOUNG woman who purchased an ex-council house has begged strangers online to help complete her renovation. Anya Roscoe, from the UK, put down a £15,000 deposit on the rundown house and hopes to turn it into her dream home. 2 She decided she could do the transformation with just £30,000, but has quickly realised her budget may not be enough. Taking to social media, Anya said: "£15,000 was spent on the initial deposit and we're about 15k down in renovation funds which officially means we're over halfway through the entire renovation budget. "Best case scenario, I spend another 10k and the house is completely finished. "Worst case scenario, I fully run out of money and we have to sell the entire house which I'm gonna make sure doesn't happen." She hoped to extend her renovation fund by using TikTok, and begged strangers to help her out. "All that I'm asking is that if you got this far into the video, please interact from the bottom up," she said." "I mean, I would do that for a stranger if it meant that they would be able to finish their dream house. "And I know, I'm basically begging for support but I'm just saying, please, help a girly out." In the video, Anya showed the progress of the renovation and it was far from being finished. Creators on TikTok can make money through TikTok's creator fund if they have over 10,000 followers, and she had over 500k. My council flat is so stylish thanks to second-hand finds - plus the treasure chest place you need to look for bargains TikTok bosses say: "The funds that each creator can earn are worked out by a combination of factors - including the number of views and the authenticity of those views, the level of engagement on the content, as well as making sure content is in line with our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service. No two creators or videos are the same, and there is no limit to the different kinds of content we will support with the fund. "The Creator Fund total varies daily and is dependent on the amount of videos published by our community that day - so this will fluctuate based on the amount of content being published." Strangers Help Anya's plea for help didn't go unnoticed on social media. The video posted to her TikTok account @ anyaroscoe went viral with over 5 million views and 1.2 million likes. Many took to the comments to share their support and help get her paid. One person wrote: "Commenting so you get paid." "This is awesome! I enjoy watching house renovations!" penned a third. Meanwhile, a fourth said: "Still renovating my house 5 years later. Keep up the good work! You got this!"

'I made £300,000 from side hustles in under three years - what worked'

A business owner has shared how she earned six figures from her side hustles in the space of a few years Side hustles are more popular than ever on TikTok, where countless videos are shared daily on the topic. From success stories to lessons learned, there's a wealth of posts for entrepreneurial social media users. One business owner who regularly posts about her career claims she's earned six figures from her side hustles in just a few years. ‌ Posting as @ startabusinesswithme, Helena, a blogger who often posts business and lifestyle content, told followers: "I've made £300,000 from side hustles in the last two and a half years." As she explained in her video, she trialled several money-making ideas during that time, but she didn't stick with all of them. ‌ Helena said: "I've made £300,000 from side hustles in the last two and a half years, and around half of that I made whilst I was on maternity leave." The business owner explained she didn't want to invest money in her side hustles at first. "I sold things I already had in my house on eBay and a little bit on Vinted, and that financed my initial ability to invest in some other small projects," she explained. ‌ Helena continued: "I tried out print on demand. I lost a lot of money doing that as a project, and I actually never put it out into the open because the samples that I got delivered just weren't good quality. I was trying to sell kids' artwork and things for children and children's bedrooms and doing print on demand and personalisation, and it just wasn't good." The blogger was also interested in "faceless content" as another possible income stream. "I tried out faceless content and faceless YouTube. If I'm honest that was an absolute uphill battle and struggle: it didn't make any money at all," she shared. "I think if you're going to be in the kind of faceless space, you need to be doing something really unique with a really clearly defined niche." ‌ "I was actually in the travel space, and I grew a pretty decent-sized account, and I did some initial monetisation. If I'm honest, I just couldn't keep up with it because I had a newborn at the time and I found it too overwhelming," she added. Moving onto her more successful projects, Helena said: "My most successful side hustles have been selling digital products. I sold my own version of financial models and spreadsheets. For a very long time, they were my most successful alongside my Notion Planner, which I still sell to this day. I also had an AI and automation starter kit, and I sold those via Stand Store, which is a social selling platform. "A lot of my traffic for those came from TikTok so I have to say that was one of the best things that I did was grow a platform and an audience and continue to deliver value where I managed to acquire customers, but I have to say a lot of the sales for my AI and automation content in particular used to and still to this day comes from SEO, actually comes from Google search." She added: "I've also made money from doing UGC content, so where you make content for other brands to post on their social channels, and I have done a very small handful of paid ads on my platform and to my community via my email as well." Summing up her video, Helena said she credits the diversity of her projects for her success. She said: "I honestly think one of the keys to my success has been having diversity of income streams from day one and having multiple ways of making money because if one area was slightly quieter in one month, then another area would pick that up."
