Niecy's longtime friend Colman Domingo, who officiated the wedding, could be seen in the background of the photo, wearing a bold, black and yellow outfit.
Fast forward to today, and Niecy has shared her thoughts on the eye-catching suit Colman chose to wear for her big day, admitting during an appearance on Today With Jenna & Friends that she wasn't at all pleased with the actor's outfit choice.

Niecy recounted, 'I married the greatest love of my life in my backyard with 24 people,' before asking Jenna Bush Hager, 'Guess who my officiant was? None other than the Colman Domingo.'
When a photo of Niecy, Jessica, and Colman appeared on-screen, the All's Fair actor said, 'There's Colman! Now, I have a grudge against him because I don't know what he's wearing. And I never forgave him for that. I'm like, it's a wedding!'

'He just looked like a beautiful bumblebee, but not for… You're my officiant! You don't got black slacks laying around? It just made me so upset,' she said.
Niecy went on to recall telling Colman exactly how she felt about his outfit on the day. 'I said, 'You look like a fool! What do you have on? What are you wearing?'' She then added, 'And now he's a fashion guru! How come that didn't happen before my wedding, you know?'
