Emmerdale's Cain broken and bereft as more sad news hits the Dingles
After learning that Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter) had been killed and thrown in a lake, Cain has tried to process his grief, but he's been regularly interrupted by Tracy Shankley (Amy Walsh).
Following the fight Cain and Nate had before he died, Tracy has now decided Cain killed his own son, and won't give the theory up.
Yesterday, Cain arrived in the shop to speak with Tracy about Nate's funeral. He wanted to know what her plans were, but she said they involved not inviting him to the event.
Cain was devastated. He tried to make himself feel better by judging Eric's (Chris Chittell) relationship with his own son, but the shop owner hit back and said that his son is alive, unlike Cain's.
Eric knew that Cain was lashing out because he couldn't deal with the fact Nate died hating him. The comments made Cain tearful, it was obvious that Eric was right.
Cain found solace in a bottle of Zak's homemade whisky, but then drank even more courtesy of John (Oliver Farnworth). He was looking for a high and needed to save someone, so he forced Cain to drink so much he passed out.
Moira (Natalie J Robb) returned home just as John was putting Cain in the recovery position. He set him up with a drip, and told Moira that Cain just needs rest.
Cain didn't leave the sofa in tonight's episode as he dealt with a hellish hangover. As a result, he got Sarah (Katie Hill) to sort the work that needed doing at the garage.
When Charity (Emma Atkins) found out, she was annoyed at Cain. Charity now knows that Sarah has cancer, and knew she should be resting rather than doing her job. More Trending
Charity marched over to Butlers and told Cain that Sarah wouldn't be at work for the foreseeable. He obviously wanted to know why and eventually, Charity revealed to him and Moira that Sarah has cancer…despite telling her granddaughter that she wouldn't tell them.

The news hit Cain like a tonne of bricks. In the past few weeks alone, he's been told that his son is dead, his daughter Debbie (Charley Webb) moved to Australia without even telling him, and now his granddaughter has been diagnosed with cancer.
Moira tried to comfort Cain, but it's certainly going to take him a little while to get his head around all of the upsetting news that keeps being thrown at him.

Emmerdale fans hit out at dullest villain in soap's history
Meanwhile, he then found Owen Michaels (Simon Haines) unconscious during a home visit, but left him to die, as he came up with a plan to attempt to frame him for Nate's death. Instead of calling an ambulance and getting help, John wrote a note on Owen's laptop, 'confessing' he killed Nate. 8 Most Iconic British Soap Characters of All Time Emmerdale fans slam 'boring' villain John Sugden on ITV soap But viewers don't seem too impressed with John's tactics as many on Reddit claim he is the 'most boring 'serial killer/villain' they've ever seen'. Someone's post on the r/emmerdale subreddit said: 'I know this sounds super morbid but c'mon, am I alone in thinking we've been waiting ages for him to get really 'villian-y'?!' They added: 'I've been waiting for this man to go full-on psycho, otherwise, we've just suffered along with this boring story for close to a year now to watch him squirrel around the village with rolled up sleeves 24/7, act like a weirdo, and talk about how great of a medic he is??' This fan agreed: 'You nailed it! He's BORING.' Another wrote: 'I think he bores himself, hence the need to feel that high of bringing folks to the brink of death and then playing hero to revive them.' One person commented: 'His rolled up sleeves are the most interesting thing about him.' While this profile responded: 'Yes, he is so boring easily the dullest and most uninteresting serial killer in soap history.' However, some disagree and think John is an 'interesting' character. This viewer explained: 'The weird need to be a saviour, the fact you can tell he feels guilty about his actions (especially Nate) yet can't bring himself not to do it again or hand himself in. Soaps That Have Won the Most Awards 'I've enjoyed the slow burn and seeing how his actions have managed to go undetected so far. 'I'm very much looking forward to seeing the truth come out and how he reacts and how the rest of the village will react too.' Also in agreement, one viewer shared: 'I enjoy him! He's a quieter, calmer, different kind of villain'. They revealed the character is better than the 'usual' sort of villain the soap has become known for, 'with dramatic murders, unrealistic kidnappings, and over-the-top hostage situations'. The fan continued: 'Of course I say this and John's probably going to kidnap somebody at some point. Hopefully not though. 'But I enjoy that they're playing it like he's just a desperate guy who does kind of bad things for selfish reasons. I think the hero complex angle is quite fresh for soap. 'We are getting a decent insight into his guilt and feelings and such through the helpline calls and just his whole haunted demeanor, which adds to the complexity. I guess it's just not that engaging for some people. 'Maybe it's missing a bit of backstory to tell us why he's like this, I'm not sure.' Recommended reading: This person, who is also a fan of John, said: 'I like him. He's not written or acted like your typical soap villain, which makes him interesting to me. I think if he hadn't been paired with Aaron - who brings down every character he's tied to - his reception would have been better.' Someone else who enjoys John's character chimed in: 'I like him, think he's quite nuanced and layered - hate him but that's what makes him enjoyable.' How do you feel about John Sugden on Emmerdale? Strictly Come Dancing winner breaks down in tears after being duped by scam
To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Strictly Come Dancing star Ore Oduba said he 'feels like a fool' as he emotionally recounted his close-call scamming experience in a bid to help others. The 39-year-old TV presenter took to Instagram with a six-minute video to his followers explaining how his dream podcast invite quickly turned into a nightmare after he realised it was fake. Oduba started the video explaining that he has been a long-time fan of acclaimed self-help author Mel Robbins, the writer of the bestselling book The Let Them Theory, and even attributed it with changing his life. After discussing the impact the Robbins has had on his life on Loose Women, he reposted the interview on his social media, tagging Robbins (who also hosts a hugely popular podcast) in the post. Soon after, Oduba received an email from someone alleging to be from the motivational guru (and her team) thanking him for his words and asking him to share more about how the theory had changed his life, Wake up to find news on your TV shows in your inbox every morning with Metro's TV Newsletter. He continued: 'Had I been wise enough, I would have seen there were a couple of things that were a little bit off. A week later, he was invited as a guest on her podcast. Recounting what it meant to receive this invitation, he started to become visibly emotional. 'Do you even know what it means? It just felt very powerful to have got that message at that time. And it's terrible because I'm reading this back and I know exactly how it made me feel at the time,' he said through tears. 'I absolutely lost my s**t in tears on an Avanti West Coast train from Birmingham to London, thinking that my whole life was about to change,' he added, admitting that he went on to share more personal stories on the email chain. After being asked by the person over email to keep this between the two of them, Oduba grew suspicious and started to notice discrepancies such as Mel being spelt 'Mell' and a Chat GPT style tone to the correspondence. It was then he discovered a section on Mel Robbins' official website where you could check if you were being scammed by someone claiming to be someone from her podcast – after which it confirmed he was a victim of this scam. The media personality reminded his followers that he used to host a programme about scammers, BBC's Claimed and Shamed, and that he has 'watched enough Watchdog to last a lifetime'. 'That doesn't stop me from being in the middle of it. I never thought I would be a person that would be scammed,' he added as he expressed his concern at how easy it is for 'more vulnerable' people to dig themselves into holes they can't get out of. 'I just feel like such an idiot. Let it be a lesson that, unfortunately, while Mel and her team are wonderful and doing incredible things there are a whole bunch of people trying to make all of us into absolute mugs. 'I feel like a fool. I got scammed by a fake Mel Robbins,' he concluded. People have shared their sympathy in the comments. Fellow presenter Sean Fletcher commented: 'So sorry to hear this Ore. I was excited and then so gutted for you listening to this. Important to share your story. Hope you're ok.' Amandakbarnfield, echoed: 'Huge props for sharing this – it will hugely help so many people.' 'Very brave to have shared this and very noble to have done so to warn others. That's the biggest takeaway from this,' yviemck1978 agreed. More Trending Last year, Oduba, who rose to fame on Newsround, spoke about the pitfalls of his decision to step back from presenting and focus on his musical theatre career. There was one point at the end of last year where he had no work lined up for the whole of 2025 until he finally secured a role in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (which happened earlier this year). He told the Sun: 'Up until that point, I was basically unemployed for all of 2025. It's just quite terrifying. It's the self-employed life. Danny Dyer and Stephen Graham join for Adolescence-like show
EastEnders star Danny Dyer and Stephen Graham are reportedly putting their heads together for a show based on issues affecting society in the modern day. The new drama promises to be "gritty" and "unflinching" in its approach, according to an insider. A post shared by Netflix UK & Ireland (@netflixuk) Talking with The Mirror, the source said: "They are currently thrashing out what they want to do. It'll be in the vein of Adolescence. Something unflinching and moving.' Adolescence, which was co-created and co-written by This Is England favourite Stephen Graham, recently broke records when it premiered on Netflix, seeing it become the most-watched show of the year. The Four-part series starts with the arrest of 13-year-old Jamie (played by Owen Cooper) when armed police storm the family home. Over the course of the show, it explores misogyny among teenage boys. The Last time Graham and EastEnders star Danny Dyer worked together was all the way back in 2009, when they both starred in the British slapstick horror film Doghouse. Previously, Danny called on Stephen to get him involved in one of his projects and praised Adolesence. Danny said: 'It's such an important subject, but the fact they're doing it in one take. As an actor and being part of that world I find it f****** incredible. "So, Steve, you've got to roll me into something. I want a bit of this!'
