Netflix viewers 'infuriated' over gripping new true crime documentary
A new true crime documentary has landed on Netflix, leaving viewers both 'gripped' and 'infuriated'.
Amy Bradley is Missing premiered on the streaming service today, and follows the mystery surrounding the disappearance of Amy Bradley following a family cruise in the late 90s.
The 23-year-old was traveled on the Rhapsody of the Seas in March 1998, along with parents Ron and Iva, and her brother Brad – however, just a few days into their journey to Curaçao, she vanished after returning to her cabin following a night at the ship's nightclub.
Despite an extensive search and an FBI investigation, she was never found, with the new three-part documentary exploring her final moments as well as new information surfacing over the years, and possible sightings.
While the true crime program has only just arrived on Netflix, viewers have devoured the episodes already, flocking to social media to share their thoughts on the case so far.

Shocked by the footage, Julishwa wrote: 'Watched @netflix Amy Bradley is Missing, and I am infuriated by @FBI and how they failed Amy.
'How do you have 4 witnesses who saw Amy in a specific region and still do nothing waiting for Amy to knock on your office door! even putting witnesses on lie detector test.'
'There's a must-see true crime documentary that's on Netflix this week,' Dan added. 'Honestly, I've never seen a true crime series that lacks evidence but can be so compelling at the same time.'
Amy was last seen on the balcony of her family's cabin in the very early hours of the morning, after returning from the nightclub on board.
When her family went to check on her in the morning, there was no trace of her – they raised the alarm on board but she was never found.
Over the years, there have been countless reported sightings and extensive searches and, while there are no confirmed details, her loved ones have never given up hope that she could eventually return.
Director and executive producer Ari Mark opened up about speaking to them for the episodes, telling Netflix's Tudum: 'Most of the people [in the series] have never been interviewed. The only people who've been interviewed have been the Bradleys.
'It's one thing to talk about the void of Amy, and it's another thing to experience it.
'This is a family who really deeply believes in what they're saying, and what they're saying is, 'She's out there, we're going to find her, and we're ready.''
'On March 23, 1998, 23-year-old Amy Bradley disappears without a trace from the cruise ship she and her family were vacationing on,' the official synopsis reads.
'Despite thorough searches of the ship, Amy is nowhere to be found and the cruise has already docked in their next port, Curaçao, opening the door for 2400 passengers to explore the island and allowing Amy to potentially disappear into the crowd.
'Hours later, Amy is still nowhere to be found and fear sets in that Amy may have fallen overboard before port. But a body is never discovered. The search for Amy expands as the FBI and local authorities launch an investigation where everyone becomes a potential suspect.' More Trending
The three-part series 'delves into this cold case decades in the making as the search for Amy continues.
'As the years pass by, possible sightings of Amy pop up in various locations from multiple people. Is it really her? Was this a tragic accident or a crime? – anything is possible. But for Amy's family – only one thing matters: bringing their daughter home alive.'

MLB all-star latest athlete latest to fall victim to Burglary
Arizona Diamondbacks All-Star Ketel Marte (pictured) is the latest sports star to have his home burglarized while he was out of town. Scottsdale, Arizona police have confirmed to Daily Mail they are investigating a 'high-dollar residential burglary' believed to have taken place Tuesday night, when Marte was representing the National League in the All-Star game in Atlanta. Nobody was home at the time of the burglary, but a number of personal items and jewelry were stolen. Police did find signs of forced entry, a department spokesperson told Daily Mail. The luxury home outside of Phoenix has five bedrooms and five bathrooms, as well as a two-car garage, according to Zillow, which reports it was sold for $3.6 million in April. Online records corroborate Marte's purchase of the home at that time. The burglary is just the latest theft of a high-profile athlete's home after NFL superstars Joe Burrow, Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes were all targeted when they were known to be away from their respective residences. The FBI previously warned leagues about organized criminals targeting pro athletes. One Seattle man has been charged in connection with a string of burglaries at the homes of current and retired pro athletes in Washington state. The alleged burglary ring is accused of hitting the residences of current Seattle Mariners stars Julio Rodriguez and Luis Castillo, club legend Edgar Martinez, Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher and Washington native Black Snell, as well as Seahawks great Richard Sherman. Meanwhile a group of Chilean nationals have been arrested on suspicion of robbing Burrow's home in rural Ohio. Three of the men are facing federal charges for allegedly transporting stolen goods and falsifying record in a federal investigation. Those three are suspected by investigators of orchestrating similar burglaries at the homes Kelce and Mahomes. Marte, a Dominican native who has earned $62 million over eight MLB seasons, hit a two-run double in Tuesday's All-Star game, which was ultimately won by the National League. He recently made headlines for a game in Chicago, where a White Sox fan was accused of lobbing insults at Marte that referenced the second baseman's late mother. Marte was seen crying on the field as teammates and coaches attempted to console him.

We don't make the rules, but the fact is, no Big Mac or Quarter Pounder meal is complete without them. Fry-loving Brits were at risk of some serious FOMO this week though, as McDonald's Malaysia launched an XXL version of the classic side dish. To celebrate International French Fry Day, the chain dropped the Fan Fries Meal, which featured a gargantuan box of chips as the main event. This promotional portion size looks like the equivalent of three large fries smushed together in an extended cardboard container. And if that wasn't enough for you, it comes with a drink and a side (of fries, no less) as well. It's safe to say people were excited for the meal to drop — there was even a countdown to it in Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur's busy retail district. But if you were thinking of booking a flight to Asia to get your hands on it, you're unfortunately too late. The XXL fries were only available between July 11 and July 13, meaning unless you were in Malaysia, you'll have just missed out. In even more devastating news, McDonald's has confirmed to Metro that there aren't any plans to introduce this in the UK. So if you want a huge serving of lightly-salted goodness, you'll have to order a few boxes separately. Fast food fans were left with their mouths watering when the creation was shared on X. Its description as a shareable portion also appeared to be up for debate, with many claiming they could demolish the whole box without any help. 'This is a much more efficient way of ordering for me,' @razacodes joked. 'Now I don't have to buy four large fries.' 'I can finish this by myself,' added @FlairFantasy, while @LaPetiteADA asked: 'Why didn't they come up with this before?' For UK McDonald's customers gutted to have missed out, hopefully news of new menu item will quell your sadness: the Double Filet-O-Fish, which dropped on July 1. The burger, which costs £5.29, features not one but two pollock fish patties in crispy breadcrumbs, along with melted cheese and tartare sauce inside a steamed bun.
