Brianne Howey Teases ‘Ginny & Georgia' Season 4 Might Be Juicier Than Ever

Brianne Howey Teases ‘Ginny & Georgia' Season 4 Might Be Juicier Than Ever

Elle05-06-2025

Spoilers below.
There's no such thing as 'normal' for the 'Mayoress Murderess' Georgia Miller, which means there's no such thing as 'easy' for her children, Ginny and Austin. Season 3 of the Netflix hit dramedy Ginny & Georgia sees both kids have to make some terrible choices when it comes to covering for their mother's crimes, choices that include—but are not limited to—lying on the witness stand; blackmailing their neighbor; and conspiring to get Austin's abusive father, Gil, thrown in prison. Still, that's all before the season 4 finale drops another major curveball: Georgia is pregnant with their future sibling. Oh, and she doesn't know the father's identity.
With that in mind, you can rest assured Ginny & Georgia will aim to capitalize on such a soapy cliffhanger. Season 4 is in the works, and the cast and crew are already teasing what's in store for the Millers when Georgia's own mother and stepfather come into the picture. (As if this family needs any more drama.) Here's what we know so far.
Yes. Ginny & Georgia was renewed for a fourth season way back in May 2023, when the third-season renewal was also announced. Deadline cited 'Ginny & Georgia's very strong performance and very appealing economics' as reasons for the two-season green light.
In February 2025, show creator Sarah Lampert posted a photo of the season 4 writers' room on Instagram, captioning it, 'First day of the season 4 writer's room!!! Based on today alone season 4 is going to be a RIDE.'
We can anticipate most of the main cast will return for the next installment, including Howey, Gentry, La Torraca, Felix Mallard as Marcus Baker, Sara Waisglass as Maxine Baker, Jennifer Robertson as Ellen Baker, Raymond Ablack as Joe, Katie Douglas as Abby, Chelsea Clark as Norah, Nathan Mitchell as Zion Miller, and Scott Porter as Mayor Paul Randolph.
In a post-finale interview with Netflix's Tudum, Lampert and showrunner Sarah Glinski shared that the 'official theme' of season 4 will be 'Cycles and Origins.' Neither of them clarified exactly what that means, but we can infer it hints at audiences learning more of Georgia's background, especially as it pertains to her mother and stepdad, who show up in a blink-and-you'll-miss-it drive-by in the season 3 finale.
As Howey told Tudum, 'Sarah [Lampert] has some incredible things planned, and I can't wait to see more about the circumstances that shaped Georgia,' adding that she's looking forward to Georgia having a lot of 'Ginny moments' and concluding, 'We're going to need that therapist.'
She also added that Gil, Austin's father, might not have made his final appearance in season 3. 'Look, the last time Georgia framed Gil, we thought that was the last time we were going to see him, and then he got out—so I would imagine there's more to the story,' she said.
As for her unborn child (and the identity of that child's father), expect that particular storyline to take up a major chunk of season 4. Teases Howey, 'Perhaps someone new is about to be a dad.'
Glinski also shared that a major theme of season 4 will be the 'burden' Georgia has inadvertently placed on her son and daughter. 'We thought the biggest consequences are how her children are changed through the process [of Georgia's trial],' Glinski told Tudum. 'The burden she leaves on Austin and Ginny at the end of season 3 is what we'll have to deal with in season 4.'
Netflix has yet to announce an official date for season 4, but given that the writers' room began work in February 2025, we can expect it will still be some time before production launches on the next chapter. If the show's previous release cadence is any indicator, we can guess season 4 will drop sometime in 2027. But, for now, that's purely conjecture.
This story will be updated.

Sauce Gardner opens up on how LeBron James played role in him meeting Ice Spice

LeBron James, even if unintentionally, helped play the role of matchmaker for Sauce Gardner's rumored relationship with rapper Ice Spice, the Jets cornerback told TMZ. Gardner appeared on an April 2024 episode of 'The Shop' — a podcast featuring James — alongside rapper Travis Scott, former NFL wideout Chad Ochocinco and star Mariners outfielder Julio Rodriguez, and Gardner told the outlet he believes that's when the couple met in person for the first time. They seemingly became Instagram official just over one year later in a post shared by Ice Spice with her and Gardner posing in front of a bathroom mirror. AP While Gardner told TMZ that he wasn't 'trying to speak too much on it' when approached in Los Angeles, he did acknowledge that he and the rapper are 'cool' — and proceeded to reveal a bit about their relationship. 'We just be having a good time,' Gardner told the outlet. 'Two young individuals, you know. She from New York. I play in New York. She talented, real talented, when it come to what she do. Same thing for me. Two people that get hated on that's really good at what we do, so we got a lot in common. We cool.' Advertisement 3 LeBron James is pictured at Fanatics Fest on June 21. Getty Images Before Ice Spice's post, the duo had been spotted out in public on different occasions, and Gardner appeared to tease the relationship earlier in April by sharing a photo on Instagram that showed them standing next to a car in New York City. When they attended a Knicks playoff game at the Garden in May, they received a loud ovation from fans in attendance as they watched the Knicks close out their second-round series against the Celtics. Gardner, 24, will enter the 2025 campaign off a rough season and is entering the last year of his rookie deal, but he still attended the Jets' mandatory minicamp instead of holding out, getting fined and attempting to make a contract statement. Bill Kostroun/New York Post 'I just wanted to show my teammates and the coaches how much I'm bought into this,' Gardner told reporters on June 12. 'I want to win. I want to be a part of changing the organization.' He earned consecutive First-Team All-Pro appearances in his first two NFL seasons — as well as winning Defensive Rookie of the Year and securing a pair of Pro Bowl spots — but failed to even make the Pro Bowl last year.

Katie Couric slams Lauren Sanchez's wedding style, calling it outdated and ‘tacky'

She was not impressed by the dress. Katie Couric slammed Lauren Sanchez's wedding style, bashing her gown and her hair in a scathing social media post. 'Welcome to the eighties — when big hair and conspicuous consumption ruled. Apparently tacky is back,' she penned. The former 'Today' show host left the rude remark on Jack Schlossberg's Instagram post on Friday, the day Sanchez married Bezos in a lavish ceremony in Venice, Italy. Schlossberg, the son of Caroline Kennedy, reposted Sanchez's Vogue cover — where the former journalist donned her long-sleeved, corseted Dolce & Gabbana lace gown that took some 900 hours to make — with the caption, 'Like I said … vogue.' 3 Katie Couric slammed Lauren Sanchez's wedding look, which made the cover of Vogue. Vogue Couric wasted no time in jumping on the bandwagon, and an hour later, left the 'tacky' comment, to which Schlossberg replied, 'Let's bring back scrunchies,' a reference to the '80s hair accessory famously roasted on 'Sex and the City.' Others joined in on the attack, adding comments such as 'Spot on. Money can't buy you class' and 'Imagine being married to the one of richest men on the planet and still choosing a dress that's ugly as f—k.' 3 The former 'Today' host took to Instagram to call Sanchez's look 'tacky.' Getty Images for The Women's Media Center Some did defend the new bride's looks, however, and called for an end to the mean girl comments. 'I think she looks gorgeous, the dress is stunning and a surprise. Everyone leave her alone. Let her be happy,' one said. 'If the dress made her feel good on her day that's a beautiful thing,' another added. 3 Sanchez married Jeff Bezos in a lavish, star-studded ceremony in Venice, Italy. @laurensanchezbezos via REUTERS Others turned on Couric and her unnecessarily rude comment. 'I'm reading that many women say Lauren Sánchez Bezos lacks 'class.' Those same critics also lack 'class,' because an educated, intelligent, respectful, or rather, classy person doesn't go around criticizing or making fun of other people,' one scolded. Another pointed out that Couric may be lashing out because she feels slighted since she didn't make the wedding's star-studded guest list. 'I'm guessing you aren't invited, Katie lol,' they quipped.

Anna Camp Calls Out Hollywood's Age Gap Double Standard

Anna Camp had a little message for anyone who still has something negative to say about the age difference between her and her girlfriend, Jade Whipkey. Earlier this month, Anna celebrated the premiere of her new film Bride Hard, at the Directors Guild of America in Los Angeles. While at the event, Anna, 42, and Jade, 24, made their red carpet debut as a couple. The two were all-smiles the entire night. Despite this being their first red carpet together, Anna and the celebrity stylist confirmed their relationship back in March, after posting a photo of them together on her Instagram story dressed for the Renaissance Pleasure Faire. News of their relationship caused a stir online, ranging from comments from fans being surprised that Anna is now dating a woman after being in two heterosexual marriages, to shock about the 18-year age gap she shares with Jade. So, the Pitch Perfect star hopped in the comments to set the record straight, saying, "I dated men exactly my age and Jade is FAR more mature than any of them." Well, with conversations on the topic still happening, Anna subtly addressed the naysayers again on Instagram, this time through her own post. On June 24, Anna shared a carousel of photos and videos, with the majority of them including Jade. And while pitcures just kept getting cuter... ...and cuter... ...there was one image that really stood out. In the middle of the carousel was a photoshopped photo of Leonardo DiCaprio with his current girlfriend, Vittoria Ceretti, with the caption "25 years" written across it, emphasizing their age gap. Outside of being an extremely talented actor, Leo is also known for dating models in their 20s. Leo is 50 (1974) and Vittoria is 27 (1998). The two were spotted celebrating Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez's wedding at Hotel Gritti on June 26, 2025, in Venice, Italy. Despite the image Ana posted saying "25 years," the two actually have a 24-year age gap. You can see everything she posted below: What are your thoughts on this? Let me know in the comments!
