Ringrose ruled out of third Lions Test
On Thursday, Ringrose withdrew from Andy Farrell's starting XV for the second Test after feeling the effects of concussion in training.
The 30-year-old, who was replaced by Huw Jones for the Lions' dramatic 29-26 series-clinching victory in Melbourne, also missed out on possible selection for the first Test because of a head injury.
"He's disappointed as you can imagine. Garry was playing some amazing rugby through this tour," Lions assistant coach Andrew Goodman said.
"It's been a dream of his for so long to represent the Lions and he's managed to do that, but he wanted to be a Test-match Lion so it's been devastating for him. Garry is a great lad and a great team man.
"The boys have all been disappointed for him and he's disappointed himself, but he's getting around everyone and making sure he helps prepare them as much as he can.
"He's a real leader for us especially in our backline, he's been great."
Goodman confirmed Mack Hansen, Joe McCarthy and Sione Tuipulotu all took part in a light training session on Tuesday.
Hansen, 27, who was in contention to start the opening win over the Wallabies in Brisbane, missed the first two Tests because of a foot injury.
Ireland lock McCarthy, 24, started the first Test but missed the second with the foot condition plantar fasciitis - an injury which causes pain in the heel and arch of the foot.
Tuipulotu, 28, also started the first Test and has been recovering from a tight hamstring.
Farrell's side will aim to win the series 3-0 in Sydney and become the first Lions side since 1927 in Argentina to record a whitewash.

No American man had medaled in the event since 2011, Phelps' last time winning the 200m butterfly at the World Championships. But that changed Wednesday, as Luca Urlando came away with the gold. Urlando posted a 1:51:87 time, beating Poland's Krzysztof Chmielewski and Australia's Harrison Turner for the top spot. Chmielewski finished second with a time of 1:52:64. Turner came in third, posting a 1:54:17 time. The win is a long time coming for Urlando, who was on the rise before a shoulder injury derailed him in 2022. With the win, Urlando becomes the first American man to pick up a gold medal at the 2025 World Aquatics Championships. The team struggled early at the event due to an illness that caused a number of swimmers to pull out of events or post slower times than usual. The team has recovered since then, with the women leading the way. Gretchen Walsh and Katie Ledecky are among the Team USA women to pick up gold medals at the World Championships so far. Jack Alexy sets new American record in 100m freestyle American Jack Alexy looked strong during 100m freestyle prelims Wednesday. Alexy turned in an incredible time of 46.81, setting an American record. Alexy's time narrowly beat Caeleb Dressel's 46.96 from the 2019 World Championships. It was an impressive performance by Alexy, but it didn't result in a medal ... yet. Alexy still needs to compete in the final. If he can recapture his semifinal performance, Alexy could walk away from the 100m freestyle with a medal. His job did get somewhat easier Wednesday after 100m freestyle favorite Pan Zhanle was surprisingly eliminated after a poor performance in the semis.

Injured captain Ben Stokes ruled out of fifth test against India as England make 4 changes
LONDON (AP) — England captain Ben Stokes has been ruled out of the fifth and final test against India with a right shoulder injury. Ollie Pope, who bats at No. 3, will replace Stokes as captain for the test at the Oval in London, the England and Wales Cricket Board said on Wednesday. Play begins Thursday, with India trailing 2-1 in the series and needing a win to draw. The 34-year-old Stokes was back to his inspirational best as an allrounder in last week's drawn fourth test, taking five wickets with some brilliant hostile and accurate spells, and finding his batting form again with an authoritative knock of 141 for his long-awaited 14th test century. He became England's fourth player to get five wickets and a century in a test. Stokes is the leading wicket taker across both teams with 17 — three more than Indian pacers Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj, with a lower average than both. But bowling long spells clearly took its toll on Stokes, who has struggled with injuries in recent years. He was hit by a bout of cramp on day 3. The intensity of the series so far has led to fatigue and injuries on both sides. India's batting star Rishabh Pant has been ruled out of the fifth test with a foot fracture.
