WHILE most parents would be happy whatever gender their baby is born as, the same can't be said for one mum who admitted to her immediate thoughts after finding out she was having a boy.
Desperate for a girl, Monique Tibbott was instead reduced to tears at the gender reveal of their soon to be born baby when the colour blue appeared inside of the cake.

Monique was adamant she was having a second girl throughout her pregnancy.
The 21-year-old from Goulburn, New South Wales, Australia, explained: 'All I know is pink. All I know is being a girl mom – I have never experienced raising a boy and it's just terrifying to me.
'I feel so guilty and like the worst mom in the world because when I saw the baby's gender in that cake, my heart sank.
'I'm going to feel guilty for the rest of my life for how I reacted; I'm never going to forget how I thought when I first found out about him.'

Throughout her pregnancy, the stay-at-home mum had been convinced she was expecting a second girl; and after already having her daughter, Delilah, it was something she thought she'd be better equipped for.
However, that dream soon diminished for Monique during the gender reveal, alongside her husband Brandon; when after uncovering the gender, her reaction failed to live up to expectation.
Monique told how she then spent the next few days in tears while trying to process the news.
With her reaction failing to live up to the hype and expectation of what gender reveals typically do, she is conscious she tarnished the special day with her emotion.
Becoming a parent to a boy is a reality that scares Monica as she stared down a barrel in fear on how to bring her son up.
Having had the experience in how to raise her daughter, Monique fears bringing a boy up will be a completely different scenario.

Monique also told how she's struggled to find a name for a boy she's really settled on – with that being in stark contrast for girl's name, which she could name ten for.
Speaking more about her reaction to the news of her expecting a boy, Monique told: 'I feel angry at myself for how I reacted because I should have just been grateful and happy that he's healthy and that I have the fertility ability to carry a baby.

'I know that probably pregnancy hormones are a huge factor to play here, but I think that I was just more shocked and not able to process it because I was so certain I was having a girl.
'I just feel very alone, and I feel so bad for Brandon because I ruined his day. He was so excited, and I just dimmed it with my reaction.'

BBC star reveals horror after landlord recorded naked images on hidden spy cam
She claims he spiked her drink the night before she discovered the device Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) A BBC actress has told of her horror after discovering her landlord planted a spy cam in her bathroom. The Scots star — who has appeared in prime-time comedies and dramas — found the recording device hidden in a washing basket after taking a shower. Cops have launched a probe. Last night the telly star said: 'I was in a state of absolute shock. He filmed me when I was at my most vulnerable.' The performer told how she moved into the property in France last July after a break-up with a boyfriend. Her 40-something landlord — whom she believed was a drug user — soon seemed suspicious. The actress recalled: 'Something didn't feel right with him.' Later she found two holes drilled into the bathroom wall which she plugged with cotton earbuds. And the night before she found the recording device she claimed the sicko spiked her drink. She recalled: 'It was like something out of a horror movie. 'I always used to notice this little black dot in the washing basket across from the shower. 'I never in a million years thought he'd be spying on me. But given what had happened the night before, I went to have a closer look. 'My heart just stopped and I burst into tears. There was a green light flashing on the camera. 'I knew that it was on and I was being recorded.' Initially she remained in the bathroom and switched off the lights fearing the sicko could be waiting outside 'with a knife'. Eventually she packed a bag and fled the property before returning with cops days later. She eventually plucked up the courage to watch the video and was horrified saying: 'I was in complete shock.' Police said: 'The subject of the complaint is a violation of privacy by filming or recording or transmitting the image of a person of a sexual nature.'

‘High-tech' Elvis show SLAMMED by furious fans as they compare it to flop Willy Wonka experience
Elvis Evolution promised a dazzling journey through the King of Rock and Roll's life SHLOCK & ROLL 'High-tech' Elvis show SLAMMED by furious fans as they compare it to flop Willy Wonka experience A 'HIGH-tech' Elvis Presley show has been blasted by fans who say it involved grainy video clips while an impersonator danced on stage. Some attendees were expecting cutting-edge holograms to rival the smash hit Abba Voyage virtual gigs. Elvis Evolution promised a dazzling journey through the King of Rock and Roll's life when it opened at the ExCel in East London this month. However, disappointed punters who paid up to £300 for VIP tickets claim there was no 3D avatar — just an actor dancing in front of video clips of the icon. Chas Johnson, 48, said: 'The whole thing is lamentable. Advertisement "But where it goes really wrong is where there was meant to be something akin to Abba Voyage with a hologram of Elvis, the focal point, that's completely missing.' Another attendee said: 'People were looking around and thinking, 'Is this it?'.' Others compared it to the Wonka show in Glasgow where an immersive experience left kids in tears. An Elvis Evolution spokesman said plans for a hologram concert announced in early 2024 were dropped during development. Advertisement But they insisted this was 'made clear when tickets went on sale' and the show has been 'praised by fans and newcomers'.
