See the shocking moment a man and woman get into a physical clash at AFL match - even though they support the same team

Daily Mail6 hours ago
Two Carlton fans have been recorded getting into a physical confrontation during their team's horror loss to Collingwood on Friday night, with footage showing the man and woman shoving each other before security was able to step in.
The supporters lashed out at each other as their side's dismal season got even worse with a 115-59 defeat at the hands of the Magpies at the MCG.
In the video, the woman lashes out at the man as she appears to be leaving the stadium behind a group of Collingwood fans who are being escorted out by security guards.
The woman shoves her fellow Blues fan and a drink goes flying before he stands up and tries to shove her back as another man intervenes.
Just as the situation appears to calm down while other bystanders try to break up the clash, the woman doubles back and appears to try to strike the man in the face.
A security guard then positions himself between the two fans as they shout and gesticulate at one another.

Former AFL star turned popular footy social media influencer Daniel Gorringe posted the footage on Instagram and TikTok, and said it shows the team's horrible form is making Carlton fans 'eat each other alive'.
That loss - which left the Blues 12th on the ladder - is their third defeat in a row, with the losing streak beginning with a shocking capitulation to North Melbourne in round 15.
The Blues finished eighth last year after coming fifth in 2023, when they came within a whisker of beating Brisbane to make the grand final.
Their fall from contention to be one of the league's most disappointing outfits has seen other fans lash out at coach Michael Voss and his squad, sometimes with headline-grabbing results.
On June 27, a Carlton fan vandalised the club's headquarters at Melbourne's IKON Park in an incident that saw police called.
The blunt message spray-painted on the building in large, black letters read: 'Sack the board, sack (Nick) Austin and (Brad) Lloyd. Keep (Michael) Voss. TDK (Tom de Koning) yes or no?'
Austin is the club's list manager and Lloyd is the football manager, while de Koning is the young-gun ruckman whose future with the team is up in the air.
After the loss to Collingwood, Magpies coach Craig McRae said he felt for his old Brisbane Lions teammate Voss.
'For all our excitement there's a level of, 'I hope my mate's OK',' McRae said.
'As much as we want to beat our arch-rival, that's done now and I just go into love and care and support for a guy that I've got enormous love and support for.
'So I hope he's going OK. It's a tough industry, we know.
'We sit in this chair - it's a hot seat - and when things don't work out we know what the job sometimes puts across your desk.'

Mushroom murderer Erin Patterson ‘tampered with food in PRISON making inmate sick' after being given job in jail kitchen

Juliana Cruz Lima, Foreign News Reporter Published: Invalid Date, MUSHROOM murderer Erin Patterson has been accused of tampering with prison food while working in the jail kitchen - allegedly making a fellow inmate sick. The shocking new claim was made by a prisoner housed in the same unit at Melbourne's Dame Phyllis Frost Centre. 10 10 10 10 It comes after Patterson was found guilty of three counts of murder and one of attempted murder over a deadly beef wellington lunch laced with toxic mushrooms. According to Herald Sun reports, the inmate fell ill following a dispute with Patterson and allegedly blamed the notorious poisoner for the sickness. A Corrections Victoria source confirmed to Daily Mail Australia that Patterson had been given a job in the jail kitchen, despite the nature of the accusations that landed her there in the first place. The mum-of-two's supporters have hit back, insisting the prison poisoning claim is baseless. Patterson has now been convicted of the murders of her former in-laws Don and Gail Patterson, both 70, and Gail's sister Heather Wilkinson, 66. She was also found guilty of the attempted murder of Heather's husband, pastor Ian Wilkinson, who only survived the deadly July 2023 lunch after undergoing a liver transplant. The verdicts were delivered in a packed Victorian Supreme Court on Monday, following seven days of jury deliberation and 35 days of evidence and cross-examination. Patterson, described as "emotionless" as the guilty verdicts were read out, reportedly told her best friend Alison Rose Prior "see you soon" as she was led away from the dock. A sentencing date is yet to be scheduled, and Patterson now faces the prospects of life behind bars. Erin Patterson arrested 'after cooking poisonous mushroom lunch which killed 3 relatives… but didn't fall ill herself' Poisoned lunch turned fatal Patterson pleaded not guilty to all charges, claiming the deaths were a tragic accident. She insisted she had unknowingly used foraged death cap mushrooms when she prepared the beef wellington for her lunch guests at her Leongatha home on July 29, 2023. But prosecutors alleged Patterson invited her estranged husband's family under false pretences, possibly even faking a cancer diagnosis to ensure they attended. Ian Wilkinson, the only survivor of the meal, testified that Patterson served the beef wellington to guests on separate plates from her own. Toxicologists confirmed all four guests showed symptoms consistent with ingestion of deadly cap mushrooms, a highly lethal species known to grown in the area. Don, Gail and Heather died within a week. Ian was placed in a coma and later required a liver transplant. Patterson initially told investigators she had bought dried mushrooms from an Asian grocery store in Melbourne — but couldn't say where. She also denied owning a dehydrator — a claim later proven false. The jury heard that she had lied to health officials, doctors and even police in the days following the lunch, hindering efforts to trace the source of the poisoning and save her victims' lives. During her eight days in the witness box, Patterson admitted she had foraged mushrooms since 2020, telling jurors: 'They tasted good and I didn't get sick.' 10 10 10 10 Alleged past attempts and eerie 'death wall' The horror didn't stop with one deadly meal. Police allege Patterson may have attempted to poison her ex-husband Simon Patterson on three separate occasions between 2021 and 2022. Simon had previously written about a near-death illness that left him in a coma for 16 days and prompted doctors to urge his family to say their goodbyes — twice. Adding to the sinister narrative, a tradesman who worked on Patterson's house claimed he discovered a chilling 'death wall' filled with threatening scribbles and eerie messages — including one that read: 'You don't [have] long to live.' One neighbour claimed Patterson was an experienced mushroom forager, often seen picking fungi in the area. Police later combed through her multiple Facebook accounts, where she allegedly boasted of being 'very good at details'. 10

EXCLUSIVE Married At First Sight star sparks outrage over horrifying reaction to Erin Patterson trial verdict as he blames the 'old' victims

Nasser Sultan has sparked outrage online after defending mushroom killer Erin Patterson, describing her as a 'poor woman' and arguing that her elderly victims 'were old anyway'. The former Married At First Sight groom, 56, stunned followers after leaving a series of jaw-dropping comments under a post reporting that a jury had found Patterson guilty of murdering her three in-laws by serving them death cap mushrooms in a beef Wellington at her Leongatha home in July 2023. In a now-viral Instagram exchange, Nasser wrote: 'Poor woman' – before doubling down in a reply to another user, writing: 'She didn't mean it, plus they were old anyway.' When contacted by Daily Mail Australia, Nasser stood by his remarks and shockingly doubled down. 'Look at her, right? The poor woman disliked her in-laws and disliked her husband,' he said. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'And instead of going to shoot them or whatever, she invited them for lunch and just poisoned them. It's very clever. 'I feel sorry for her because she's going to be left in jail now for the rest of her life. And these people are old anyway. Really, it's just one less pensioner to feed.' Asked if he believed age diminished the value of life, Nasser replied: 'Look, age plays a big factor. If I'm 85 and something happens - f**k, I'm 85. 'I've lived 85 good years. I've had my time. I've travelled, I've eaten at good restaurants. At 85, it's okay.' He went on to suggest that the victims were partly to blame for their own deaths. 'If I didn't like someone and they invited me to lunch, I wouldn't go,' he said. 'So it's their fault for going to lunch. You've got to take your chances, don't you?' Despite widespread backlash, Nasser remained unapologetic. In a now-viral Instagram exchange, Nasser wrote: 'Poor woman' – before doubling down in a reply to another user, writing: 'She didn't mean it plus they were old anyway' 'I stand by it,' he said. 'If they were 30 or 40, that's really sad. But when you're in your 80s - come on.' He insisted he felt 'sorry for the families' but quickly returned to defending Patterson. 'You've got to look at the actions. If your mother or father is disliked by your daughter-in-law, you wouldn't send them to lunch, would you?' He added: 'It wasn't like a lunch to say "Let's talk about it and be friends." It was "Come over, I've made lunch" – and they went.' Nasser also claimed he was initially expecting a hung jury and floated the idea that the deadly mushrooms could have been a mistake. 'It is possible that you can have mushrooms that are off. You could eat yoghurt that's off and get poisoned,' he said. 'I don't know what poisonous mushrooms are – do you?' He concluded the interview with an unexpected pivot to rapper P Diddy, bizarrely comparing the two cases. 'If you've got money, you get the best lawyers. If you're Erin Patterson - no money, a little overweight and unattractive - you've got no chance.' Patterson has been found guilty of murdering her three in-laws with death cap mushrooms in a beef Wellington that she served them for lunch at her home on Monday. The verdict ends one of Australia's most intriguing homicide cases. The mother-of-two sat defiantly throughout her 10-week trial, glaring at the media, members of the public and the family of the people she murdered with callous disregard. Patterson had pleaded not guilty to the murders of Don and Gail Patterson, and Gail's sister, Heather Wilkinson. They died after consuming death caps in the beef Wellingtons during lunch at Patterson's Leongatha home in southeast Victoria on July 29, 2023. Only Pastor Ian Wilkinson survived her plot, a blunder Patterson would live to regret, and will now serve time for after also being found guilty of attempting to murder him.
