Hong Kong actress Sharon Luk was once romantically involved with a Malaysian tycoon.
According to Sin Chew Daily , Luk, 44, began dating the businessman in 2013, only to discover nine months later that he was already married.
The report also added that Luk was duped into becoming a guarantor for a loan taken out by his company, which left her saddled with a HK$3.4mil debt. Fortunately, she was able to repay the full amount within a year.
Since the breakup, Luk has remained single. While she has admitted to feeling lonely at times, the actress made it clear that she's in no rush to get into another relationship.
In a recent video, the former Miss Hong Kong runner-up discussed her criteria for a partner, stressing that physical appearance isn't a deal breaker.
'It doesn't matter if he has a big belly as long as he's healthy. No hair? I don't mind it. Shorter than me? Not a problem for me either,' she said.
Instead, Luk said she values cleanliness, tidiness, a good sense of humour and – most importantly – loyalty.
'A simple 'good morning' and telling me that you remember me each day makes me feel appreciated,' she added.
Luk then revealed that her father once described her as having a 'wild' personality and even said no one would want her because of it.
However, the actress doesn't see it that way, adding: 'It's not that no one wants me, but I'm not actively seeking (a relationship).'

Hate To Break It To You, But There's No Hang Tuah In The Old Guard 2

Subscribe to our FREE Sleeper-hit film The Old Guard, which was released in 2020, follows the story of a group of mercenaries who could not be killed. That's right, they are immortal. Releasing on Netflix tomorrow (2 July) is its highly anticipated sequel – The Old Guard 2 – which brings a new addition to the cast of its unkillable characters: Malaysian-born Crazy Rich Asians star Henry Golding. The movie introduces Tuah, who is played by Henry and is also an immortal character. At first, there's not much to make of it – a Southeast Asian actor playing a character named Tuah is not unusual. That is, until we spotted the weapon he wields in the movie poster: a Keris. Say what? Combining the name Tuah and a keris brings his character close to a portrayal of Hang Tuah. For context, Hang Tuah is a storied hero in Malay legend, a powerful warrior and Laksamana (court admiral) from the Melaka Sultanate famous for his loyalty, martial skill, and tales involving a magical keris called Taming Sari as well as rivalries such as that with Hang Jebat. Malaysians went wild with theories that the character is actually THE Hang Tuah. read some theory about the old guard 2 and there is a chance that henry golding is hang tuah in it 😭😭😭 this is genuinely mad if u know anything about malay history — ْ (@d00scar) One of the movie's teaser posters revealed more of the character, showing him holding what is obviously a keris, which is also Hang Tuah's signature weapon. That is definitely a keris. Image: IMP Awards If he really is supposed to be some incarnation of Hang Tuah, he is certainly a more modern one in t-shirt and slacks. Hang Tuah is usually pictured as a man with long hair, a moustache, and beard, while wearing traditional Malay attire including a tanjak (traditional Malay headgear). Veteran musician M. Nasir played Hang Tuah in the 2004 film Puteri Gunung Ledang. Image: Illuminasi As far as Henry's portrayal goes, he already has the facial hair down. Perhaps this is what Hang Tuah would look like in the 21st century. Unfortunately, Henry revealed in an The Old Guard 2 features a star-studded cast including Charlize Theron, Uma Thurman, Henry Golding, and Chiwetel Ejiofor. Share your thoughts with us via TRP's . HK-based actress Natalie Ng announces divorce after 14 years of marriage

Hong Kong-based actress Natalie Ng and her husband David Chan, who share two daughters, have divorced after 14 years of marriage. Photo: Sin Chew Daily Hong Kong-based actress Natalie Ng has made a bombshell revelation in her new autobiography – she and her husband, financial expert David Chan, have amicably divorced after 14 years of marriage. The pair first met while studying in the United States and married in 2011. They share two daughters – Scarlet, 10, and Season, eight. In a recent interview with Ming Pao Weekly , Ng – who experienced a recurrence of breast cancer in August last year – revealed that her marriage had been on the rocks long before her diagnosis. The 50-year-old shared that she and her husband had gone through multiple separations and reconciliations over the years. 'Maybe we got married back then because we felt the time was right. Over the years, we have separated and reunited, but the underlying issues were never truly resolved. In the end, we had to make a decision,' she said. Despite the split, Ng – a second runner-up in the 1998 Miss Hong Kong beauty pageant – reiterated that she and her ex-husband maintain a good relationship. 'There's no right or wrong. I hope everyone refrains from making unnecessary speculations. Some people are better off as friends rather than as spouses,' she added. For the record, Ng's health deteriorated earlier in March when the cancer cells spread to her coccyx, advancing to Stage Four. Fortunately, after undergoing treatment, her cancer index has since returned to normal. In a recent video uploaded on social media, Ng said she's currently focused on rebuilding the muscles she lost after the cancer cells caused significant muscle deterioration. She added that her current priority is leading a healthier lifestyle, saying: 'I want to live a more exciting and healthier life.'
