My entire family loves this 'beautiful' wicker chair from Walmart — it's on sale right now

Yahoo7 hours ago
One of my biggest goals for the summer? Spend more time reading outdoors. My well-worn patio set has definitely seen better days, but I wasn't quite ready to commit to a complete patio overhaul.
What I really wanted was a comfy chair that I could lounge in — which led me to the Better Homes & Gardens Wicker Chair from Walmart. As a mom of two young boys, these days, I'm lucky if I get 30 minutes to myself during the day to read. But when I do, this chair makes it feel extra magical. I've had it for a few months now, and I absolutely love it — and so do my kids. The best part? It's currently on sale — making it a great buy. Scroll down for my full review and to see why this has become my family's favourite.
Better Homes & Gardens Bellamy Outdoor Patio Round Wicker Chair
This patio chair is comfortable and unique.
The details
Summer rainstorms are no match for the all-weather design of this round wicker chair. With a faux wood finish on the legs, handwoven resin wicker and a rust-resistant steel frame, this comfortable chair is built to last. Just in case, it comes with a 3-year limited frame warranty.
The cushions are made with UV- and fade-resistant fabric. They're super easy to clean: just wipe the with a damp cloth and air dry.
The extra deep seat and super cozy cushions and pillows make this stylish chair a great spot for lounging.
What I like about it
Super comfortable: I tend to contort in weird positions when I read, and this chair provides all the support I need. I feel like I'm cocooned in my own little hideaway and can briefly escape the stresses of mom life.
Stain resistant: My kids are all about popsicles and ove to use any fabric as a napkin. I was pleasantly surprised to find any messes made by little hands came out with some warm water and elbow grease.
Stylish: I absolutely love how this chair combines form and function. It's no wonder it's flying off shelves.
Fun for the whole family: My kids love this chair so much and it comfortably — and safely — holds them both.
$348 $398 at Walmart
Room for improvement
Not the best for sun protection: If the sun is directly over the chair, there's just no way I can sit in it. I typically spend the most time in it later in the day.
Assembly is definitely required: I will be honest, there is nothing I enjoy less than putting together furniture. The directions were very straightforward, but it was a bit frustrating at times and took me much longer than I thought it would.
What other shoppers are saying
🛍️ 300+ reviews
⭐ 4.8/5 stars
🏅 "Sturdy and high quality"
One customer said this is a "great chair" — especially for the price — adding they're impressed with the "beautiful" and "heavy-duty" design.
The "sturdy" and "high quality" chair, rated for up to 350 pounds, is great for an adult or a "kid or two," added another reviewer.
$348 $398 at Walmart
Back problems? One person said the "extra deep seat" is "supportive enough" not to aggravate their back pain.
"A cutie on my patio," raved another reviewer.
However, some shoppers did echo my annoyance with setup, calling the chair a "pain to put together" and saying it's "easier with two people."
Some other shoppers also said that while the light coloured cushions are easy to clean, they'd love to see a darker colourway.
The verdict
The Better Homes & Gardens Bellamy Outdoor Patio Round Wicker Chair is a stylish, comfortable chair that makes a cute reading nook for any backyard or patio. It might be hard to believe, but those white cushions are actually super easy to clean. Plus, the fade and UV-resistant fabric means they'll last for many summers to come. Just don't expect the chair to provide much coverage from the sun; it's best to use it in a shady spot. And pro tip? Grab a friend to help lessen the annoyance of setup.

Golf shirts and pants that transition from the course to the office

Once reserved for the fairways or the country club setting, golf clothing — such as polos, stretchy trousers, lightweight quarter-zips, boat shoes and penny loafers — is now a popular style in modern business environments. With companies shifting toward business-casual dress codes, performance fabrics that wick sweat, offer four-way stretch and combat odors are pulling double duty in the office. Here are 10 items that bridge the gap between the greens and the office. These Amazon golf pants have functional features like moisture-wicking fabric, four-way stretch for mobility, and a slim-fit, flat-front, tailored silhouette. The pockets are designed to hold tees and cards, while the versatile neutral tones make them seamless under a blazer or with Oxfords. If you're looking for fewer neutrals and more bright pops of color, consider this similar option. If you're an Amazon Prime member, you can get these items to your door ASAP. For a sportier yet still polished look, this Linden iteration also dries fast, resists odors and provides UPF protection—all while staying neat under a sport coat or on its own. The Y2K fashion revival tells a story that brands need to hear

It's no secret that we see fashion trends come full circle. But sometimes a trend resurfaces not because of how it makes people look, but because of how it makes them feel. The revival of Y2K fashion, which had redefined what clothing was meant to be seen versus hidden, is one case where the message is driving the trend. THE RETURN TO UNAPOLOGETIC SELF-EXPRESSION In the Y2K era—the late '90s and early 2000s—people dressed in ways that highlighted their individuality, and what we now call 'innerwear' was often what anchored their looks. Items like tank tops and bralettes became the foundation of an outfit, and boxer waistbands were confidently displayed. The style's characteristic innovation is what gives it intergenerational appeal and staying power. Today, consumers are revamping this aesthetic by styling those familiar pieces in ways that speak to a modern-day lifestyle. A Y2K-inspired work outfit could be a ribbed tank paired with tailored pants, while an event look might combine a bralette and an open blazer. This fashion moment isn't just about replicating a cultural phenomenon. It demonstrates a craving for self-expression that's original, bold and genuinely effortless. With classic pieces of innerwear as their foundation, people are discovering their unique style, whether that means embracing the past, staying grounded in the present, or experimenting with what is still to come. And that's a lesson clothing brands should take to heart. As a designer, it's essential to identify emerging trends that align with the cultural values and identity of the brand you are designing for. Strategizing based on consumer insights and data helps you determine the right timing for introducing new items or collections that harmonize with your existing offerings. You can also refresh your core offerings with updated fabrics, colors, patterns, or silhouettes. By understanding the context behind a trend, you can forge authentic connections through thoughtful styling and targeted marketing. Whether you're trying to attract new consumers or re-engage with existing ones, the key will be establishing a reputation as the go-to source for in-demand products. HOW HANES HAS EMBRACED THE Y2K REVIVAL At Hanes, our design philosophy has always been about the connection between everyday essentials and personal expression. Our pieces were never meant to be purely functional. They're crafted with personality, comfort, quality, and fit in mind—things that never go out of style. So the reemergence of Y2K fashion gave us an opportunity to think about our basics in a new way. How can a simple cotton tee make a statement? How can a boxer brief send a message? We weren't looking to take a trip down memory lane for nostalgia's sake. We wanted to lean into this cultural moment and tap into a style mindset that still connects with today's consumer. That's how we came up with our recent Urban Outfitters collaboration. The capsule collection features new takes on early 2000s staples like ribbed tanks, cropped crews, haltertops, bodysuits, and boxer briefs. But we also stayed true to our core value of creating trustworthy clothing that's uncomplicated, expressive, and, most importantly, comfortable for every body. Fashion constantly evolves, yet it's often the simplest pieces that leave the deepest, most lasting mark. Y2K fashion's revival is more than a nod to the past. It's a cultural shift toward embracing style as a way of expressing confidence, individuality, and comfort. The reemergence highlights how foundational fashion pieces have lasting power as tools for personal storytelling. For designers and brands, success lies beyond identifying what's trending. It requires knowing why it matters, when to act, and how to deliver with authenticity and brand positioning. By staying agile, listening to consumers, and taking calculated, creative risks, brands can stay relevant and inspire genuine connection.
