TORONTO — Greenland Resources Inc. (NEO:MOLY, FSE:M0LY) ('Greenland Resources' or the 'Company') is pleased to announce that Dr. Jørgen Huno Rasmussen has joined our European Advisory Board with the objective of providing technical engineering support on the equity capex financing process with the Danish stakeholders.
Article content
Dr. Jørgen Huno has over 25 years of experience heading international project businesses in general and in mining in particular. Among others, he was CEO of Hoffmann A/S for 16 years, the oldest Scandinavian construction company executing infrastructure projects in Greenland, followed by 10 years as CEO of FLSmidth & Co. A/S, a global leader in mining technology and equipment as well as construction of cement plants on a turnkey basis. He has also for a decade been Vice-Chairman of the international engineering groups Rambøll Group A/S and Topsoe A/S. In addition, Mr Huno Rasmussen has financial experience as former Chairman of the insurance group Tryg A/S and The Lundbeck Foundation. He has a Ph.D. in Project Management from the Technical University of Denmark and is an Adjunct Professor at Copenhagen Business School.

Dr. Jørgen Huno commented: 'Greenland Resources Inc. is addressing a critical need especially for Europe to supply the necessary molybdenum and byproduct magnesium, and I am very excited to contribute to this essential project that is combining my experience in mining, large project execution in general and in Greenland in particular.'
Article content
Dr. Ruben Shiffman, Chairman, commented: 'We are thrilled that Jørgen joined our advisory board. Now that we received our exploitation license, we are beginning the equity capex financing process and Jørgen will be instrumental on technical aspects of the project with Danish stakeholders. The project has the potential to boost Greenland's GDP by approximately 22% and can generate taxes for Greenland equivalent to 18% of Denmark's grants to Greenland. The project can meet all of Denmark's molybdenum demand and can also meet all the EU's defence molybdenum demand (over 80% of metallic materials used in defense applications contain molybdenum). This is relevant because only China and the United States supply primary molybdenum to Europe, and the EU is the second largest molybdenum user worldwide with large processing capacity but has no extraction.'

About Molybdenum and the EU
Article content
The EU is the second largest molybdenum user worldwide, (around 122 million pounds of molybdenum per year, 19% of the global demand according to IMOA), has large processing capacity, produces the best specialty steel products worldwide but has no molybdenum extraction. Green energy technologies, steel and defence are the key drivers for market growth. When molybdenum is added to steel and cast iron, it enhances strength, hardenability, weldability, toughness, temperature strength, and corrosion resistance. To a greater degree, the EU steel dependent industries like automotive, construction, and engineering, represent around 18% of EU GDP. Greenland Resources strategically located Malmbjerg project has the potential to supply in and for the EU approximately 25% of the EU demand of environmentally friendly high-quality primary molybdenum from a responsible EU Associate country for decades to come, as well as 100% of EU defence molybdenum consumption. More than 80% of the metallic materials (including carbon and stainless steels) to be used for defence applications require molybdenum alloying. The primary molybdenum in the Malmbjerg project is ideal for EU defence and high-performance steel applications because of low deleterious elements and long-term security supply. The EU expects to increase defense expenditures from current 1.5% to around 5% of GDP. Primary molybdenum is only produced in China (87%) and the USA (13%), China imposed export controls on molybdenum and is now a net importer. Molybdenum is categorized as a critical and/or strategic mineral across the top five defence nations in the world: U.S., China, Russia, India, and South Korea.

About Magnesium and the EU
Article content
The EU uses around 145,000 tones of magnesium per year (15% of the global demand) but has no treatment facilities nor extraction. Electric vehicle production and sustainable manufacturing practices are key drivers for market growth. Magnesium is a light metal with a high strength-to-weight ratio, primarily utilized in the form of magnesium metal or magnesium compounds such as caustic-calcined magnesia, magnesium chloride, hydroxide and sulfates. Magnesium metal is primarily used as casting alloy in automotive and aerospace industries (64%), aluminum-base alloys for packaging and transportation (18%), and in the desulfurization of iron and steel (4%). Smelter production of magnesium metal in 2024 was 1 million metric tonnes, 85% coming from seawater, while smelter capacity worldwide is double. Also, approximately 75% of magnesium compounds serve industrial purposes including fertilizers, cattle feed, Epsom salts, heat-resistant bricks, de-icing etc. (USGS 2024). China produces 89% of the world magnesium and Europe sources 97% of its magnesium from China (EC, 2023).

Article content
Greenland Resources is a Canadian public company with the Ontario Securities Commission as its principal regulator and is focused on the development of its 100% owned Climax type primary molybdenum deposit located in central east Greenland. The Project has also magnesium as a byproduct, a market dominated 89% by China. The Malmbjerg project is an open pit operation with an environmentally friendly mine design focused on reduced water usage, low aquatic disturbance and low footprint due to modularized infrastructure. The Malmbjerg project benefits from an NI 43-101 Definitive Feasibility Study completed by Tetra Tech in 2022, with an US$820 million capex and a levered after-tax IRR of 33.8% and payback of 2.4 years, using US$18 per pound molybdenum price. The Proven and Probable Reserves are 245 million tonnes at 0.176% MoS 2, for 571 million pounds of contained molybdenum metal. As the high-grade molybdenum is mined for the first half of the mine life, the average annual production for years one to ten is 32.8 million pounds per year of contained molybdenum metal at an average grade of 0.23% MoS 2, approximately 25% of EU total yearly consumption and 100% of EU defence needs. On byproduct magnesium, the project uses approximately 35,000 m 3 per day of saline water with around 900 ppm of magnesium and the Company is working on extracting magnesium from the saline water using innovative technologies. In addition, the molybdenum concentrate has a magnesium component. The Company is aiming to incorporate magnesium in the economics of the feasibility study. On June 19, 2025, The Company was awarded an exploitation license for molybdenum and magnesium. With offices in Toronto, the Company is led by a management team with an extensive track record in the mining industry and capital markets. For further details, please refer to our web site ( www.greenlandresources.ca) and our Canadian regulatory filings on Greenland Resources' profile at http://www.sedarplus.com/ The Project is supported by the European Raw Materials Alliance (ERMA). ERMA is managed by EIT RawMaterials, an organization within the EIT, a body of the European Union.

Allianz Commercial Launches Climate Adaptation & Resilience Services (CAReS)

Article content Natural disasters have increased five-fold over the last 50 years, costing businesses billions in damages and business interruption. Allianz Commercial's new CAReS platform allows businesses to evaluate how natural perils will affect their assets today and in the future, modeling the change in risk exposure for a range of perils over different time horizons and climate scenarios aligned to the United Nations IPCC. CAReS gives access to a self-serve tool and tailored consultancy services to help businesses proactively manage and mitigate their climate risk exposures. Article content MUNICH — Climate change is having a severe impact on economies around the world, all businesses are affected. In 2024, the overall losses from climate-related natural catastrophes such as flood, windstorm, or hail summed up to US$327 billion, while insured losses reached US$138 billion. To address these growing challenges, Allianz Commercial today launched its Climate Adaptation & Resilience Services (CAReS). The data-driven platform has been developed together with Allianz clients and allows them to directly identify potential high-risk areas and how climate risks from 12 perils will affect their locations from present day up to the year 2080. Article content Article content 'The question is not if a company is affected by climate risks in the future, but when it will happen. No industry is immune to risks such as floods, droughts, storms, or fires. We all remember the severe consequences from events such as the LA wildfires or Hurricanes in the US. Businesses are interrupted, and economic and insured losses are exploding into hundreds of billions of US-Dollars per year. Therefore, it is so important to understand climate risks and your exposure to them. This is why we developed CAReS, so our clients have the option to address and mitigate their risks as well as to avoid surging insurance costs in the future',explains Michele Williams, Global Head of Allianz Risk Consulting (ARC) at Allianz Commercial. CAReS is a data-driven platform combined with tailored risk consulting expertise CAReS translates physical climate risks into financial and physical loss metrics at portfolio and location level and helps businesses to manage these risks with resilience consultancy. The data-driven platform allows companies to perform climate risk assessments to identify and prioritize high climate risk exposures for their key assets including own locations, new investments and supplier locations. In a five-step process, they can understand their climate risks and their impact on their assets. Furthermore, businesses can identify and prioritize highly exposed locations in a dashboard solution with different risk scores for 12 perils, including tropical storms, floods, hail, wildfire or extreme heat. Four different timelines are available: present day, 2030, 2050, and 2080. This allows businesses to directly address potential risks as well as financial impacts in the future and mitigate them, working closely with ARC experts. CAReS is the first in a set of solutions and offerings Allianz Risk Consulting is planning to launch this year as part of a new strategic positioning which emphasizes the relevance of resilience. Article content 'Resilience is a journey, not a destination. By proactively managing climate risks you can mitigate potential disruptions to your business and stay one step ahead. This is a win-win situation for Allianz Commercial as an insurer as well as for the client who can reduce its climate risks and potential losses in the future', says Michael Bruch, Head of Global ARC Advisory Services at Allianz Commercial. Solstice Gold Completes Initial Drill Program and Announces Strategic Claim Acquisition at the Strathy Gold Project in the Temagami Greenstone Belt, Abitibi Subprovince, NE Ontario

Article content – Assay Results Pending – Article content VANCOUVER, British Columbia — Solstice Gold Corp. (TSXV: SGC) (' Solstice ', 'we', 'our' or the ' Company ') is pleased to announce the successful completion of the Spring 2025 drill program at the Strathy Gold Project (the ' Project '), located in the Temagami Greenstone Belt in the prolific Abitibi Subprovince in Ontario. Solstice also announces that we have entered into an agreement with an arms-length party to acquire 17 claims which expand our core Strathy Gold Project holdings by 50% (the ' Agreement '). Article content Spring 2025 Drill Program Article content The Spring 2025 drill campaign was successfully completed on four target areas (Figure 1) for a total of 3,125m across 14 drill holes. At least 50% more sampling than originally planned has extended assay timelines. Assays are pending and will likely be received in July. Land Acquisition Article content Solstice has entered into the Agreement to acquire a 100% interest in a group of 17 contiguous unpatented claims directly adjacent to the core claims of our Strathy Gold Project (the ' Acquisition '). These claims are underlain by the Archean-age Leckie-group metavolcanic assemblage, which is the main host rock for the Project's main targets. Targeting from Solstice's 2024 IP program show high priority targets may extend along strike onto these claims. They also contain OGS gold showings along a large structure parallel to the IP targets. The combined area of these claims will add 373 hectares to our core claim block, increasing its area by 50%. Solstice has also been active in staking at the Strathy Gold Project since the Spring 2025 drill program began. Solstice has acquired 110 hectares of claims at the western side of the Project via staking. These claims are also underlain by an Archean-age metavolcanic assemblage and represent a valuable expansion of our wider land position. Article content Claim Agreement Article content Pursuant to the Agreement, in consideration for the purchase of the 17 unpatented claims pursuant to the Acquisition, Solstice must issue 175,000 common shares to an arms-length seller as soon as practicable following TSX Venture Exchange ('TSXV') approval. The common shares will be subject to a four month hold period. The Acquisition is subject to the approval of the TSXV. No finders fee is payable with respect to the Acquisition. Article content About the Strathy Gold Project Article content The Strathy Gold Project is an extensive 45 km 2 land package in the Archean-age Temagami Greenstone Belt, which is the southernmost extension of the Abitibi Subprovince in Ontario. The Project includes parts of the Net-Vermilion Deformation Zone and the Link Lake Deformation Zone, which are two prominent Northeast-Southwest-trending structures crosscutting Archean metavolcanics. It contains documented, widespread high-grade gold mineralization, hosting historic intercepts of 5.00 g/t Au over 17.28m and 7.66 g/t Au over 7.25m (core lengths) at vertical depths of approximately 50-100 metres below surface 1, and documented surface sample results of up to 62.7 g/t Au 2. Despite this demonstrated prospectivity, the core claims at Strathy have not been systemically explored in the past. Article content A 17.5 line kilometre IP program carried out in November 2024 has detected known mineralization, and in addition to this, the IP results show extensive, better-developed and untested IP anomalies along the North and South extensions of the Leckie Fault. The drill program described above marks be the first time that the core area of the Strathy Gold Project has been systematically drilled. The Strathy Gold Project is located along the Trans Canada Highway, has excellent access to infrastructure and mining expertise. Article content For more detailed information on the Project, including a technical review of the project and a detailed review of IP results and targeting, please visit The Company wishes to point out that, since assays are pending, there is no certainty that observed mineralization will contain elevated gold. Ukraine looks to jointly produce weapons with allies, while U.S. halts some shipments

A manufacturer demonstrates a Ukrainian made drone at a Ukraine Defense Innovations exhibition for military clients on an undisclosed location in Ukraine, Friday, April 11, 2025. (AP Photo/Efrem Lukatsky, File) KYIV, Ukraine — Ukraine is forging ahead with embryonic plans for joint weapons production with some of its international allies, top officials said, while the U.S. announced it was halting some arms shipments promised to help Ukraine fight off Russia. Those plans come at what appears to be a key point in the all-out war launched by Moscow nearly 3 1/2 years ago. A renewed Russian push to capture more Ukrainian land has put Ukraine's short-handed defenses under severe strain, and Russian missiles and drones are battering Ukrainian cities. U.S.-led diplomatic efforts to find a peace settlement, meanwhile, have stalled. As Washington has distanced itself under U.S. President Donald Trump from Ukraine's war efforts, a bigger onus has fallen on European countries to pressure Russia. French President Emmanuel Macron and Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday held their first direct telephone call in almost three years. Macron's office said that during their two-hour conversation, the French leader underlined France's 'unwavering support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity' and called for a ceasefire. Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that officials are preparing with a sense of urgency for upcoming meetings with European Union countries and other partners to talk about cooperation in weapons manufacturing. 'One of the key topics will be weapons production – our joint investments, joint projects,' Zelenskyy said in his daily address on Tuesday evening. Defense Minister Rustem Umerov announced that draft legislation on joint weapons production with international allies is expected to be put to a vote in the Ukrainian parliament later this month. The proposed laws were shown to national defense companies on Tuesday, Umerov said. The program includes plans to create a special legal and tax framework to help Ukrainian defense manufacturers scale up and modernize production, including building new facilities at home and abroad, according to Umerov. Earlier this week, German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul said during a visit to Kyiv that Germany aims to help Ukraine manufacture more weapons more quickly. He was accompanied on the trip by German defense industry representatives. The U.S. is halting some weapons deliveries to Ukraine out of concern that its own stockpiles have declined too far, officials said Tuesday. Certain munitions were longer-term commitments promised to Ukraine under the Biden administration, though the Defense Department didn't provide details on what specific weapons were being held back. Ukraine's Foreign Ministry summoned the U.S. chargé d'affaires, John Hinkel, on Wednesday to discuss ongoing defense cooperation. Deputy Foreign Minister Maryana Betsa thanked the U.S. for its continued support, but emphasized the 'critical importance' of maintaining previously allocated defense packages, especially for bolstering Ukraine's air defense. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the Pentagon's decision will help bring a settlement closer, because 'the fewer weapons supplied to Ukraine, the closer the end of the (war) is.' The United States has been Ukraine's biggest military backer since Russia launched its full-scale invasion of its neighbor on Feb. 24, 2022. Under Trump, there have been no new announcements of U.S. military or weapons aid to Ukraine. Between March and April, the United States allocated no new aid to Ukraine, according to Germany's Kiel Institute, which tracks such support. For the first time since June 2022, European countries surpassed the U.S. in total military aid, totaling 72 billion euros ($85 billion) compared with 65 billion euros ($77 billion) from the U.S., the institute said last month. Washington's latest decision could remove some of the most formidable weapons in Ukraine's battlefield arsenal. Analysts say Ukraine's European allies can fill some of the gaps and provide artillery systems. But they don't possess alternatives to the U.S.-made HIMARS missiles and air defense systems, especially Patriots, which are crucial to help defend Ukrainian cities from Russian air attacks. It's not clear how much weaponry Ukraine possesses or what its most urgent needs are. ___ Illia Novikov, The Associated Press
