Beyonce fans fear singer will RETIRE following Cowboy Carter tour that has been plagued with mishaps
The 43-year-old singer is in the last few weeks of her current tour, which began on April 28, 2025, in Inglewood, California, and is scheduled to conclude on July 26, 2025, in Paradise, Nevada.
The Cowboy Carter Tour, officially titled Cowboy Carter and the Rodeo Chitlin' Circuit Tour, is Beyoncé's ongoing concert tour in support of her album Cowboy Carter.
There have long been questions over Beyoncé's future following this collection of shows, but the rumor mill has ramped up in recent weeks with loyal fans divided over her game plan.
Voicing their concerns on social media, one panicked: 'I really think Beyoncé is about to retire.'
Another said: 'I think Beyoncé wants to retire soon… just a hunch.'
'I am so scared that Beyonce is about to retire and that's why she's doing back to back tours. Like I gotta see her live!' a third added.
Others, however, have shunned the rumors and have pointed to her previous comments about her passion for making music.
They have also highlighted that her album trilogy - which started her 2022 album Renaissance before the release of her 2024 album Cowboy Carter - is not yet complete.
'Beyoncé is in her prime and people thinking she's about to retire is insane,' said one.
Another agreed, adding: 'Exactly. I don't think she'll ever retire. I think she'll pop out less and less. Do shorter tours but Beyoncé is forever. Music is her heart. She's gonna continue to evolve with it & do whatever she wants because… she can.'
On Reddit, many have quashed Beyoncé retirement rumors too.
'I've been part of the Beyhive for 22 years now, and never really understood why people always think she'll retire near the end of an album rollout, even when she told us (multiple times) that making music is her passion and she'll always be creating art,' another posted.
Responding, one added: 'Honestly, 'the obsession' with Beyoncé retiring almost always stems from a place of not wanting her to but rather being nervous about the prospect because she's 1) achieved so much, and 2) thinks she would want to end as a legend and not a washed up has-been.
'I don't think it necessarily has any merit, but I think it's very different from people telling her to hang it up as people have been saying about Mariah due to recent extremely lackluster performances and material. In general, that is, there are always haters.'
Last September, Beyoncé stressed how much love she has for singing, hinting that she will never stop.
'Singing is not work for me,' she told GQ. 'I sing for me. I love music and I love to sing. It's a passion that runs deep.
'There's magic in the way it feels on my throat, a resonance that vibrates through me.
'When I am at my lowest, when I've been sad or in a heavy fog, sick or anxious with sleepless nights, I sing. And, often, I sing alone.'
But the speculation comes after her tour was plagued with a string of incidents from poor ticket sales, on-stage tech malfunctions to choreography issues.
Beyoncé recently concluded her epic six-night concern run in London and her shows in Paris.
She closed out the European leg of her Cowboy Carter tour and brought out her husband to perform their hit single Crazy in Love in the French capital as the couple took the stage together for the first time in seven years.
Her concert in France was a family affair as she was also joined by their daughter Blue Ivy on stage and had her mom Tina Knowles supporting them.
After performing in cities around Europe, Beyonce performed in her hometown of Houston, Texas and experienced a horrifying moment when she suffered a stage mishap with a mid-air prop.
At one point during her show on June 29, the red convertible she rides high above the crowd during her performance of 16 Carriages tilted dangerously, threatening to throw the Cowboy Carter artist off the car and into the audience.
Still, Beyoncé returned to the main stage and finished the performance like the consummate professional she is.
After the show, Beyoncé's team released a statement addressing the incident.
'Tonight in Houston, at NRG Stadium, a technical mishap caused the flying car, a prop Beyoncé uses to circle the stadium, and see her fans up close, to tilt.
'She was quickly lowered and no one was injured. The show continued without incident,' Parkwood Entertainment said.

Brielle Biermann pointed the finger at her mother when she discussed her history of dramatic cosmetic procedures for an upcoming spinoff episode of Botched. In a clip for Botched Presents: Plastic Surgery Rewind, the 28-year-old daughter of Kim Zolciak said that it was her mom who took her to her very first lip filler appointment. While speaking with the plastic surgeon Dr. Terry Dubrow, the nepo baby — who revealed a rapidly reversed desire to dissolve her lip filler at the start of 2020 — admitted that she wanted to reverse the affects of her numerous filler procedures, including deposits around her cheek bones that she thought were overly plump and asymmetrical. She also shared the shocking confession that getting filler injections became so common for her that it was 'like getting a Diet Coke.' Brielle also told Dr. Terry Dubrow (R) that Kim would take her to her cosmetic procedure appointments and speak openly of all her touchups in front of her children, which influenced Brielle's attitude toward abundant dermal filler use 'I had just turned 18 when I first got my lips done,' Brielle admitted as Dubrow's mouth dropped open in shock. 'I graduated high school and the second I graduated, my mom took me to LA and I got my lips done by the doctor [that] everybody was getting their lips done [from] at the time. Dubrow interrupted to ask if the other doctor showed any hesitation about giving lip fillers to an 18-year-old patient. 'No, it was like, "Get in the chair, let's go,"' she recounted. In a cut to a separate talking head–style interview, Dubrow cautions providers to be wary of using filler on young patients, as the substance — which is often used to erase the visible signs of aging — can instead make young patients look prematurely old. According to the Cleveland Clinic, fillers tend to be synthetic or naturally occuring substances that are injected to smooth out lines and plump skin, particularly around the mouth, eyes or even nose. Fat from a patient's body can even be removed and then injected into their face to create a fuller appearance in the chosen spot. Although Brielle has expressed disappointment about her overly plump lips multiple times in recent years, it was filler under her eyes — around her cheek bones — that seemed to trouble her most. Ironically, Kim claimed in an interview with Dubrow in the same clip that she had counseled her oldest daughter to steer clear of under-eye filler, despite having allegedly played a role in normalizing other filler procedures for her. 'I told her to never do that under her eyes,' the former Real Housewives Of Atlanta star claimed, adding that she and Brielle were on the same page about regrets over the procedure. 'But, sometimes you've got to let them go and learn on their own, even though I was like, "Please don't."' Brielle admitted that she was happy with the under-eye filler at first, but now she found it to be 'so puffy,' with one side looking 'more full than the other.' I was always going with her to her doctors appointments. I feel like she was mostly getting every laser you could think of to remain youthful. So then every month, 'I'm like I need to get my lips done. 'Filler became like getting a Diet Coke,' she admitted. 'The under-eye filler just became like an insecurity that I didn't even really know I had.' In a confessional interview, Brielle admitted that Kim 'was always going to get botox and lip filler, and watching my mom go through this kind of just made it seem normal.' Brielle claimed she would eventually get 'hit up' by doctors offering her free injections and free surgeries on the condition that she post about the work she had done on social media to help advertise their practices. 'Bit of a personal post,' she captioned her post. 'All I'm gonna say is if you start to get lip filler… Go to someone who will tell you no.' The beauty continued, 'At that time in my life (on the left) I had too many chefs in the kitchen… I went to too many injectors, none of which would tell me no!'
