Yarde has been building back up towards a shot at the light-heavyweight title, after losing to Artur Beterbiev in 2023.
The Brit had also suffered a first defeat of his career going for the light-heavyweight title in 2019, losing to an 11th round TKO against Sergey Kovalev.
Since a defeat to Beterbiev, Yarde has rebuilt, beating Jorge Silva, Marko Nikolic and most recently Ralfs Vilcans on a points decision in October last year.
Lyndon Arthur is also in the process of rebuilding, falling victim to the Beterbiev-Bivol feud, losing to Dmitry Bivol in December 2023, dropping the IBO light heavyweight title in the process.
Arthur won his most recent bout in a split decision win over Liam Cameron in June last year.
These two rivals have met twice before and will finally settle their 1-1 beef.
Arthur won the first fight in December 2020 with a tight split decision.
Yarde then got his revenge in the rematch 12 months later with a brilliant fourth-round KO win.

Florian Wirtz can't help but smile in training at moment that's caught on camera – 'Oh my'

New Liverpool midfielder Florian Wirtz has only played in a behind-closed-doors friendly, but the club's social media team have provided a glimpse of what he could bring to the team Florian Wirtz is already turning heads as he gears up for the new season following his record-breaking transfer to Liverpool. The Reds completed a deal worth up to £116million for the midfielder, who was hot property after his dazzling displays for Bayer Leverkusen. ‌ The signing of the Germany international for a potential British record fee signals Liverpool's ambition not only to defend their Premier League crown next season, but also to build for future success. Wirtz racked up 16 goals and 15 assists in 45 matches during his last season with Leverkusen, sparking excitement about how he could bolster Arne Slot's team. ‌ Wirtz did not feature in the team's first pre-season friendly against Preston North End, but he did get a run-out in a behind-closed-doors 5-0 victory over Stoke City, where he had a hand in two goals. While fans eagerly await Wirtz's Liverpool debut, the club's social media team shared footage of the 22-year-old wowing his new Liverpool team-mates during a training session on the team's pre-season tour. ‌ The video showed Wirtz participating in a training exercise, starting with the midfielder receiving a pass with his back to goal. He played the ball back before darting down the channel, seamlessly taking control of the return pass. As defenders closed him down and narrowed the angle, Wirtz coolly chipped the goalkeeper, eliciting cheers from his team-mates. An off-camera voice exclaimed, 'Oh my goodness,' in awe of Wirtz's finish. He casually returned to his position with a hint of a smile after showcasing his skills. Fellow new signing Jeremie Frimpong has already hinted at what his ex-Leverkusen colleague will add to the Liverpool team. "Just expect a winner. He's a very, very, very special player and for me, he's a very hard-working guy," Frimpong said to Sky Sports. "The league will love him – I haven't got to talk too much, just watch him! "Flo, he doesn't crumble under pressure – he likes pressure. He's a guy that likes pressure. I feel like when you're on the pitch you forget about everything, you just enjoy football, you just play and Flo is one of the guys who makes you enjoy football. ‌ "Just seeing how he plays. He's going to be perfect and he's playing with Liverpool players [too] – so he's going to be perfect. He's going to be fine." Echoing Frimpong's sentiments, Liverpool midfielder Ryan Gravenberch has also praised Wirtz: "I think everyone knows Florian and also here in training he is a really good player: technical, really good vision," he said. "So I am really happy that he is here and I can't wait for the season to start also to play with him." ‌ Wirtz will hope to get some game time in the club's friendly with AC Milan in Hong Kong on Saturday. The Reds will then face J1 League side Yokohama F. Marinos next week. New signing Hugo Ekitike joined up with the Liverpool squad in Hong Kong earlier this week after his switch from Eintracht Frankfurt. Andy Robertson has discussed how the club's experienced players have taken responsibility for helping the new recruits, like Wirtz and Ekitike, settle in quickly. ‌ "When you look at the four older players or the leaders, with me, Ali [Becker], Virg [van Dijk] and Mo [Salah], then we take that upon ourselves to try to let them settle in as easy as possible, try to integrate them into the squad as quickly as possible," Robertson told "We take great pride in that. We were all young before, we've all needed help going into squads. We still help the young lads as much as we can. "When it is new players, helping them settle in – finding houses, even just getting them settled with their family, because we know how important that is – it's so important."

Craig Gordon is a revered figure at Hearts and the visitors for his testimonial, Sunderland, are also fond of the 42-year-old goalkeeper, who served them well between 2007 and 2012 before injury got in the way. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad It is quite remarkable that 13 years on from his Stadium of Light exit, Gordon is still a professional footballer. While a nerve issue has denied him the chance to play a part in Hearts' pre-season, he is still part of manager Derek McInnes' plans and hopes to play some part of the match against the Wearsiders. Craig Gordon's Hearts testimonial takes place on Saturday when Sunderland come to town. | SNS Group Gordon penned a one-year extension to his Hearts contract earlier in the summer. The 81-times capped Scotland internationalist has never put a definitive date to stop his illustrious career but listening to interviews this week, the end is not far away. This appears to be his last season as a pro. Sunderland paid £9million to Hearts back in 2007 for Gordon's services. It was the highest a British club had ever paid for a goalkeeper until Manchester United shelled out £17m for David de Gea in 2011. He has kept illustrious company. Black Cats fans will forever remember him for one of the best saves ever seen in the English Premier League, when he clawed away a point-blank effort from Bolton's Zat Knight in 2010. Arm and knee injuries blighted his Sunderland career. His move there was almost hijacked by Aston Villa. 'They were looking for a new goalkeeper that summer as well,' recalled Gordon. 'They eventually signed Scott Carson. But that was a possibility. But Sunderland wanted to do the deal there and then, not let us out of the building before it was signed. "So they were very keen and showing all the interest. So I was more than happy to stay there and sign the contract and begin my Premier League career there." A trophy-laden spell at Celtic followed once he had fully recovered from injury, before returning to Hearts in 2020. A horrific broken leg at Tannadice in 2022 on Christmas Eve looked to be the end, but Gordon bounced back again, starring for both club and country. Craig Gordon spent five years at Sunderland. | Getty Images Whether he will regain the gloves from Zander Clark this season in the new McInnes era remains to be seen. That debate is for another day. Those fans turning up at Tynecastle will look to celebrate one of the club's greatest home-grown players. There will be pre-match entertainment, a guard of honour and a post-match speech. Sunderland will provide a good test, having just been promoted to the EPL. They have spent heavily in the summer, bringing in a number of new players. The Jambos won all of their Premier Sports Cup group games comfortably, but this will be a better barometer of where they are at. Even Hibs fans will be keeping half-an-eye on proceedings as to whether Nectar Triantis, who spent last season on loan at Easter Road, features for the visitors. He is keen to break into the first-team squad before exploring his options - including a potential return to Leith.

Christian Horner tipped to become Lewis Hamilton's new Ferrari boss, day after Brit driver's brutal response to sacking

However, if Lewis Hamilton's response to the news of Horner's sacking is anything to go off, it may not be the match Villeneuve thinks it could be. The team have not publicly provided a reason for his dismissal. Allegations of inappropriate behaviour were made against him by a female colleague in February 2024. Horner - who is currently out of work - has denied these allegations. Speaking to Vision4Sport, who provide Formula 1 tickets and packages, 1997 world champion Villeneuve said on the Brit: "Christian Horner to Ferrari would be an interesting one. read more in f1 Bel tolls Fears for future of iconic F1 track that's set to disappear from calendar "He's been solid, doesn't seem to have been very affected by pressure, even in tough times. "So, he might well be one that could be able to shoulder Ferrari." But on Thursday, Hamilton gave a brutal response to a question on Horner's sacking ahead of the Belgium Grand Prix. With a dead-pan look on his face, he said: "It doesn't change anything in my life." BEST ONLINE CASINOS - TOP SITES IN THE UK That comment was followed by an awkward silence in the press conference. Hamilton - who stunned the F1 world when he switched from Mercedes to Ferrari - failed to podium at the British Grand Prix earlier this month. Lewis Hamilton looks close to tears in live TV interview after 'terrible' performance His fourth place finish brought an end to finishing in the top three for 12 Silverstone races in a row as he finished behind Lando Norris, Oscar Piastri and Nico Hulkenberg. Ferrari's Charles Leclerc finished second at the Monaco Grand Prix in May behind McLaren's Lando Norris. And Villeneuve thinks this inconsistent form is a reoccurring theme for the Italian team. He said: "It's like that every year. It's really bad, and then suddenly they win in Monaco. "Then it's great and they've turned the corner, then it goes back to being very bad and so on. So, let's wait." Ferrari principle Fred Vasseur has been in focus this season, with fans questioning if time will run out for him after a tricky season for the Italian team. Asked about Vasseur's future, Villeneuve said the job is always a "risky proposition". He said: 'The team principal at Ferrari is always under threat. That's the name of the game. "When you accept going to Ferrari, you know that you're walking on fire, you're walking on eggs. It's always a risky proposition. "And if you take that job, which puts you in the limelight, you have to accept the consequences, which means it's easy to just be chopped 'You live under constant pressure, and you have to accept it from the media, from everyone and you complain about it because a team principal there is always one who managed to remove his predecessor. "There's always a lot of politics. So, if it happens to Vasseur there should not be any surprise."
