Q1 results today: HCL, Ola, Tata Tech among 25 firms on July 14; see list

HCL Technologies, Ola Electric, and Tata Technologies will be among 25 companies to release their earnings report for the first quarter (Q1) of the financial year 2025-26 (FY26).
Other companies releasing their performance report for the April-June quarter include Tejas Networks, Nelco, Rallis India, and Sambhv Steel Tubes.
HCL Tech Q1 preview
HCL Technologies is expected to report a slight dip in both revenue and net profit for the first quarter, largely due to seasonal weakness and slower performance in its services and products segments. Analysts polled by Business Standard estimate a marginal 0.02 per cent quarter-on-quarter decline in revenue to ₹30,240.28 crore. Net profit is projected to drop by 3.76 per cent sequentially to ₹4,145.13 crore, and by 2.65 per cent year-on-year. The decline is attributed to seasonal productivity resets and pressure on the services business, which is also likely to impact the company's profit margins.

"This is a shared concern and India hopes that zero tolerance for terrorism will be strongly upheld," he said, while backing China's SCO presidency and efforts to ensure good outcomes. In the meeting, Jaishankar also underlined the need for cooperation on trans-border rivers, including resumption of provision of hydrological data by the Chinese side. The minister also told Wang that stable and constructive ties between India and China are not only to their benefit, but that of the world as well. "This is best done by handling relations on the basis of mutual respect, interest and sensitivity," he said, recalling the agreement earlier that differences should not become disputes, or competition turn into conflict. He said that on this foundation, both sides can continue to develop ties along a positive trajectory. He also thanked China for allowing the Kailash Manasarovar Yatra to resume after a gap of five years.

Washington: Ever since his political rise a decade ago, Donald Trump has sung the praises of Vladimir Putin -- the Russian president was a "strong leader" who, perhaps more important, would often say "very good things" about him. With his announcement Monday of new arms for Ukraine via Europe and tariff threats on Russia, Trump's bromance with Putin has hit a new low -- but it may not have run its course. Trump, who had vowed to end the Ukraine war within a day of returning to the White House, said he was "disappointed" in Putin, who has kept attacking Ukraine as if the leaders' telephone conversations "didn't mean anything." "I go home, I tell the first lady, 'You know, I spoke to Vladimir today, we had a wonderful conversation. She said, 'Oh really? Another city was just hit.'" "I don't want to say he's an assassin, but he's a tough guy. It's been proven over the years. He's fooled a lot of people," Trump said. Trump quickly rejected that he was among those fooled and again insisted that the 2022 invasion of Ukraine was the fault of his predecessor Joe Biden, who championed a hard line on Russia. Brandishing his favorite weapon, Trump gave Russia 50 days to comply before facing 100 percent tariffs on countries that purchase from Russia, but stopped short of backing a bill before Congress for up to 500 percent tariffs.
