Rangers entertain the Greek side at Ibrox in the first leg of the Champions League second qualifying round tie later this month before the second leg in Greece.
Panathinaikos are currently preparing for the clashes by doing their pre-season preparations in Austria.
They easily beat Ukrainian outfit Metalist 3-0 in a friendly.
And boss Vitoria was happy with the way they are building up to the massive games against Russell Martin's side.

He said: "I was very pleased with that performance, given it was our first match of the new season.
"I think the team was quite good on its defensive side of the game, in terms of being solid.
"And we pressed high up, which is what I wanted them to do.
"It led to us stealing some balls and we managed to score goals from it.
"What I think we lacked a little was greater urgency when we had the ball at our feet and attacking quicker.
"But I'm quite satisfied, since we're talking about the first friendly and very pleased at the build-up to the games against Rangers this month."

Thelo Aasgaard on Rangers transfer brink as Luton talks progress to finer details over Norway international's switch

A deal could be done in time for Aasgaard to make his Rangers debut for Russell Martin this weekend Rangers are on the verge of completing a deal for Luton Town ace Thelo Aasgaard. The Norwegian midfielder is expected to become Russell Martin's fourth signing of the summer - following the arrivals of Max Aarons, Joe Rothwell and Emmanuel Fernandez. ‌ Aasgaard is expected in Glasgow within 48 hours to finalise a long-term contract at Ibrox. ‌ Rangers are currently thrashing out the details of the transfer with Luton, which includes a substantial fee and potential add-ons. But Martin is hopeful of getting the deal done before Gers' first friendly against Club Brugge on Sunday. Aasgaard only joined the Hatters from Wigan a year ago and scored 14 goals in his first season at the Championship side. But after being relegated to League One, Luton are ready to cash in on their prized asset. Aasgaard made his Norway debut, alongside Erling Haaland and Martin Odegaard, against Moldova in November - when he notched his first international goal in a 5-0 win. ‌ And he's now on his way to Ibrox as part of Martin's Rangers rebuild. The 23-year-old has been targeted by the new boss - and sporting director Kevin Thelwell - as potentially a key component in their squad ahead of the Scottish Premiership campaign. Martin is also keen to tie up a deal for experienced Leicester City defender Conor Coady in the coming days. After facing Club Brugge this weekend, Rangers travel to St George's Park in England for a week's training before a friendly with Middlesbrough at Ibrox - and a vital Champions League qualifier against Panathinaikos.
