After scrapping 2024 tour, The Black Keys are coming to Minneapolis in 2025

Yahoo17-03-2025
Rock duo The Black Keys are coming back to Minneapolis, but this time at a slightly smaller venue than the one booked for last year's tour, which was ultimately canceled.
The band has added a "No Rain, No Flowers" tour stop at The Armory on Saturday, Sept. 6, along with The Heavy Heavy as the opening act. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m., and pre-sale tickets are available as of Tuesday via Ticketmaster. You can sign up with the Lonely Boys and Girls Club on the band's website to receive a presale code.
The duo consisting of Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney were originally scheduled to bring their "International Players Tour" to Target Center on Nov. 10.
Fans cited ticket availability data to suggest that low sales caused the abrupt cancellations. Others also suggested that high ticket prices contributed to the allegedly low sales.
The band said in a statement the plan was to launch a new tour focusing on "more intimate settings."The Armory stop will be the first for the band in the state since they brought their "Dropout Boogie Tour" to the Minnesota State Fair in 2023. They previously played a Target Center show on Sept. 28, 2019.
The Black Keys are coming off their 12th studio album release, Ohio Players, and are set to debut a new single on Friday, "Babygirl" after dropping another new track last month, titled "The Night Before."

Kelly Clarkson's 4th of July opening of her Studio Sessions concert series, a residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, was canceled shortly before she was expected to take the stage Friday night. The singer said both of her shows this weekend, scheduled for July 4 and July 5, would not go on. Clarkson's announcement was released around 6:30 p.m. local time. I am beyond grateful that you always show up for me and I am devastated to have to postpone tonight and tomorrow's opening at Caesars,' the pop star, who's the original American Idol and now a daytime talk show host, wrote in a statement shared on Instagram Friday evening (July 4). 'The prep and rehearsals have taken a toll on my voice,' said Clarkson. 'I want the shows to be perfect for y'all and I need to protect myself from doing serious damage so I am taking this weekend and next week to rest up so that we can deliver what you all deserve.' She added, 'The show is truly incredible. The musicians and singers are outstanding, and I want us all to start out strong. I can't wait to be back next weekend and show y'all what we've been working on.' Kelly Clarkson: Studio Sessions was announced in early February. Clarkson expressed excitement about returning to Vegas following 2023 and 2024 residencies at PH Live at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. Her 2025 residency was set to kick off on the 4th of July and run through mid-August, before a break that would have her going back to The Colosseum for four dates in November. Clarkson is now expected to open the show on Friday, July 11. Gracie Abrams tour kicks off in Boston this week - Here's how to buy last-minute tickets

Gracie Abrams 'The Secret of Us Deluxe Tour' kicks off in Boston on Wednesday, July 23 and Thursday, July 24 and tickets are still available for those who don't want to miss out. The two shows will take place at the TD Garden in Boston, MA, and fans can still purchase tickets on Ticketmaster or through reliable third-party ticket sellers like StubHub, VividSeats and SeatGeek. *New customers who purchase tickets through VividSeats can get $20 off a $200+ ticket order by using the promo code MassLive20 at checkout.* Because it's last-minute, tickets may be on the pricier side, but it's a good idea to shop around on all the sites to see which deal is the best and if prices will drop closer to show time. StubHub is usually the cheapest and the most reliable ticket seller, in my opinion. They offer great seat options and prices, as well as the least amount of fees. As of Tuesday, July 22, the cheapest tickets to both Boston, MA shows are listed below: For Wednesday, July 23, the cheapest seats are $283 on StubHub, $285 on VividSeats and $286 on SeatGeek. The cheapest seats to the Thursday, July 24 show are $314 on StubHub, $302 on VividSeats and $316 on SeatGeek. The Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter will hit the road for 11 special sold-out shows in support of her most recent LP of the same name, which features her Billboard Hot 100 top 10 hit 'That's So True.' After her Boston shows, Abrams will play shows in Toronto at Budweiser Stage, Madison Square Garden in New York City, the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, Colorado's famed Red Rocks Amphitheatre and she wraps up at the Pepsi Center in Mexico City on August 26. British pop star Griff and Djo (with lead singer Joe Keery from Netflix's 'Stranger Things') will now join Abrams on the road.
