Police said the identity of the 54-year-old victim has not been published as the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences is still investigating and seeking to notify her family. Police questioned "all persons who remained on the scene" and were later released, with the investigation ongoing. In a separate incident on March 14, five people were killed during a 17-vehicle collision in Austin, including two children. Police said the crash involved "multiple vehicles and a semi-truck" with several people left "pinned in their vehicles." What People Are Saying In a statement included in the press release Sergeant Sudduth and Officer Solomon said: "The driver, 11, of a black Chrysler Town and Country minivan was instructed by the pedestrian (deceased) to pull the vehicle forward in the driveway at the above address. When the driver drove forward, the victim was pinned between the Chrysler and a parked silver Toyota Sequoia. "The victim was transported to an area hospital by responding Houston Fire Department paramedics where she was pronounced deceased." Tennessee man with dementia missing in El Paso County
(EL PASO COUNTY, Colo.) — A man who went on a road trip to Colorado from Tennessee is now missing, and law enforcement is seeking the public's help to locate him. Roger Jackson, 71, is on a road trip from Tennessee and was supposed to stay near Gold Camp Road, which is currently closed. The road was recently washed out due to rain and will be closed indefinitely. According to the El Paso County Sheriff's Office (EPSO), Jackson has not been heard from since Saturday and he was in El Paso County. EPSO said Jackson is driving a 2013 Chrysler Town and Country with Tennessee license plate BTF5858. He is described as standing at 5'11 and weighing 190 pounds. Union County authorities looking for 95-year-old man
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) – Authorities in Union County are asking for help finding 95 year-old Gordon Tornberg who has been reported missing as of early Thursday morning. According to the Union County Sheriff's office, Tornberg left his residence in rural Union County in the early morning hours of Thursday. He is believed to be traveling in a red 2011 Chrysler Town and Country van, SD license: 62P-C89 Gordon does not has his phone with him. He does not generally travel alone and may have become confused or disoriented. He is possibly wearing a dark blue long sleeved shirt and gray sweatpants, according to the news release. He was last seen at his home in rural Union County. Gordan is known to travel to the areas of Vermillion and Sioux Falls.
