Cristian Chivu has now had close to a month in charge of Inter Milan.
That has been enough time for the 44-year-old to really start to get the squad familiar with his methods in training.
And according to the Gazzetta there have been clear differences from the way that Simone Inzaghi trained the squad.

There are certainly similarities between the work of Chivu and Inzaghi.
The Gazzetta report that the Romanian has kept the calm and low-key atmosphere in training.
However, the newspaper explain, Chivu likes to work and chat with players more one-on-one.

Then, there is a significant difference in how Chivu is preparing the squad on a physical level.
As the Gazzetta note, the 44-year-old has brought back Stefano Rapetti to be the athletic coach.
Part of the new regime has been more work in the gym before training. Chivu hopes to use more strength training to avoid injuries.
Then, the sessions are more intense, and longer by about a half an hour. These ninety-minute sessions are meant to get the squad ready for a more high-pressing approach, the Gazzetta reports.

Children's sporting activities cost parents £443 on average a year, survey finds

Parents are spending an average of £443 a year to fund their children's sporting activities, a survey suggests. Parents with children who participate in organised sport say their offspring try an average of three sports a year, with football – played by 62% of children – the most popular, followed by swimming (42%), and dance (20%), the poll for payment provider Clearpay found. Hockey is the most expensive sport, with parents spending an average £460 a year for their child to participate. Dance (£395) and basketball (£372) are the next most expensive sports, followed by tennis (£359) and gymnastics (£350). On average, the biggest outgoings are on lessons and coaching (£81), specialist kit (£67) and footwear, including football boots and trainers (£66). Budgets also stretch to travel (£62), club memberships (£59) and equipment (£43). Despite the cost, almost two-thirds of parents (65%) say they place no financial limit on how much they will spend to support their child's sport. However the cost-of-living crisis has also had an impact, with more than half of parents (53%) saying it has limited the number of sports their child can try. More than one in five parents (21%) also admit they regret how much they have spent on sporting activities their children have since given up. The poll also found major events such as Wimbledon have motivated nearly a quarter of children (24%) to try a new sport, with 37% of parents reporting that watching the British tennis tournament inspired their children to pick up a racquet for the first time. Rich Bayer, UK country manager at Clearpay, said: 'Parents are committed to giving their children access to different sports, which inevitably comes with a price tag. 'Ultimately, this investment will hopefully create a generation of people with a lifelong love of sport and active lifestyles.' Opinium surveyed 2,000 parents with children aged between five and 17 between June 13 and 20.

The 3️⃣ key players in the Flamengo v Bayern Munich clash

Bayern Munich showed its title contender credentials at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup and eliminated Flamengo in a thrilling round of 16 matchup. Sign up for DAZN to watch ALL FIFA Club World Cup matches for FREE Advertisement The team led by Vincent Kompany quickly gained the upper hand and was able to manage their efforts in the match, controlling it even when it seemed that Flamengo, with plenty of talent, could complicate things. They struck at the right moments and deservedly won. These were the 3️⃣ protagonists of the duel between Flamengo and Bayern Munich. Erick Pulgar The Chilean midfielder was a protagonist, but for all the wrong reasons. He headed a corner kick into his own goalpost, and later didn't play well, having the bad luck of deflecting Leon Goretzka's shot that became Bayern's third goal. He also kicked Harry Kane, injuring his own foot in the process. He was substituted before halftime. Manuel Neuer The German goalkeeper once again made key saves and played with enormous security at the back of the team, playing as a sweeper when the play required it. Harry Kane In the first half, Harry Kane scored with his left foot, his 'bad' foot, from outside the box, and a slight deflection put the shot on target. It was the English striker's 40th goal of the 2024/25 season. Advertisement Later, in the second half, when Flamengo was pushing, he received the ball near the opponent's goal, where he rarely fails. This time he scored with his right foot, and it was his 41st goal. A brace and a standout performance. This article was translated into English by Artificial Intelligence.
