A London Marathon runner who had a double mastectomy ran the race in nothing but her running shorts and trainers.

In a video posted to Instagram, Butcher is seen smiling as she runs through water to cool off, saying: 'it's like 50 degrees!'
She started running topless after her treatment to inspire others and embrace her body.

WNBA star sends crude sexual message to her glamorous rival on orange carpet before All-Star party

WNBA star Courtney Williams has come under fire after making a crude sexual joke towards one of her league rivals at the All-Star party. On Thursday night, the league's biggest names - including the likes of Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese - gathered for the start of the two-day event in Indianapolis. As the festivities got under way, WNBA duo Williams and Natisha Hiedeman began live streaming from their joint channel 'StudBudz'. As they were on the orange carpet in Indianapolis, Minnesota Lynx star Williams spotted WNBA rival Gabby Williams making her way into the event. Lynx star Williams declared that she was keen to speak with the Seattle Storm forward and said: 'I've got to let her know [that] she looks good'. Eventually, Lynx star Williams went over to the American-French forward and reeled off a list of compliments before saying: 'If it don't work out, call me fine s***'. GABBY ON STUDBUDZ 😁😁😁 — sriya (@pussitionz) July 17, 2025 It appeared that Lynx star Williams was making reference to the rumors that Storm forward Williams is dating fellow WNBA star Marine Johannes. Neither player has confirmed nor denied the claims. However, back in May, Johannes' New York Liberty teammate Jonquel Jones seemingly confirmed the two players' sexuality and hinted at a relationship. An Instagram account The Fruit Slice shared a thread regarding the openly gay players in the WNBA. Jones replied to it: 'A yall missing some of our points! How Gabby on the list but not Marine..? Jaylyn Sherrod? Leo is as well. We number 1 and also we have a 4 out starting 5'. Fans were quick to point out that Johannes hadn't publicly come out. Jones then said: 'I thought they was out lmao my badddd'. Meanwhile, Minnesota Lynx star Williams was previously dating N'Shya Seigle and the couple shared an engagement announcement back in November. However, the post has since been deleted and, during a recent StudBudz stream, she confirmed that she is now single. Elsewhere on the night, Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark was spotted enjoying a wild night out as she toasted the beginning of the WNBA's All-Star weekend in style. The 23-year-old welcomed the biggest names in the WNBA to Indianapolis this week as she prepares to captain one of the teams for Saturday's All-Star game, despite no longer being able to take to the court. And while Clark appeared bright and breezy during an appearance on Good Morning America Friday morning, she had certainly been enjoying herself the night before when she and her peers descended on Indianapolis nightclub, INVY, for the All Star Champagne Launch Party. In several videos shared to social media, the guard could be seen bopping along to the music with a drink in hand. At one point, Clark had found her way behind the DJ booth with her arm wrapped around the emcee. When he thrust the microphone in her face and asked if she was 'ready to turn up' Clark let out shout of 'woo' and hoisted her can, which appeared to be a hard seltzer, into the air.

France down rivals England to finish with 100% record

France finished the 2025 Six Nations Women's Summer Series as the only team with a 100% record after downing England 52-39 in the competition's final match. Doubles from Faustine Piscicelli and Elina Folituu and further scores from Mailys Borak, Anaick Konyi, Zoe Jean and Julie Espinosa made sure France took the spoils in the battle between the two unbeaten sides. The results from the final day of #U6NSummerSeries action 🤩 — Six Nations Under-20s (@SixNationsU20) July 17, 2025 England, who had beaten Scotland and Italy in their first two games, gave as good as they got, scoring six tries of their own through Amelia MacDougall, Grace Clifford, Lucie Sams, captain Lucy Calladine, Sophie McQueen and Zara Green, but ultimately couldn't find an answer to the questions their opponents posed to them. France made a blistering start to the encounter as Borak crashed over after just three minutes, with Pauline Barrat adding the extras. Going behind sparked England into life and they were level 10 minutes later when MacDougall beautifully peeled off the back of a ruck, catching the French defence off-guard to dot down. Les Bleuettes got themselves back in front halfway through the first half as Piscicelli's dominant run allowed her to dash over England's tryline. Ella Cromack's penalty brought her side to within four points with a classy kick, but the U20 Red Roses were powerless to stop Konyi storm down the left wing to register France's third try. England responded with a period of sustained pressure which proved fruitful as Clifford scored from close range to reduce their deficit to six. Espinosa's yellow card seemingly didn't help the French cause but despite being down to 14 players, they extended their lead through Jean's try when the clock was in the red at the end of the first half. Sams gave England the perfect start after the break, burrowing over after multiple waves of attack on 43 minutes, but Folituu's close-range score three minutes later put France back in the ascendency. England would not lie down, however, retaliating almost immediately as skipper Calladine profited from England's forwards using their physicality to push France back. However, England ceded momentum back to their opponents as Espinosa made up for her earlier sin bin by opportunistically scoring in the left corner. Piscicelli's timely interception allowed her to bag a second try on the hour mark and with England down to 14 due to Millie David's yellow card on 68 minutes, France had the game under control. McQueen hit back when she crossed over, but Folituu's late second score capped a fine French victory despite Green rounding off the scoring for England in added time. Manchester United agree terms with Brentford for Bryan Mbeumo

Manchester United have finally reached an agreement with Brentford to sign Bryan Mbeumo, the PA news agency understands. Six weeks after seeing their first offer rebuffed, Ruben Amorim's Red Devils have agreed terms with the Bees to sign the 25-year-old forward. United are set to pay £65million for Mbeumo, with Brentford reportedly in line for a further £6m in potential add-ons. The Cameroon international is in line to become the Premier League club's second major summer signing after Brazil international Matheus Cunha arrived from Wolves in a £62.5million deal last month. Mbeumo is understood to have expressed a desire to move to Old Trafford over other clubs and his impending arrival is a major boost ahead of United's pre-season tour. Amorim's men fly to the United States on Tuesday for the three-game Premier League Summer Series, having kicked off preparations for the new campaign with Saturday's Stockholm friendly against Leeds. Mbeumo heads to the north west fresh from the best season of his career, with the Brentford star scoring 20 Premier League goals and providing seven assists. Only Mohamed Salah, Alexander Isak and Erling Haaland scored more than the 25-year-old, who joined Brentford from Troyes in 2019 and has a year left on his current contract, albeit with the option for another season. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Bryan Mbeumo (@bryan_.m19) Mbeumo has been a key target as the 20-time league champions look to rebuild having finished 15th and seen their worst top-flight season in 51 years compounded by losing the Europa League final. United's first approach of £45m plus £10m in potential add-ons in early June was rejected by Brentford, with an improved proposal exceeding £60m following a few weeks later. But talks stalled as Brentford held on for a greater fee for Mbeumo and director of football Phil Giles said at the end of June that he 'wouldn't be massively surprised' if the forward stayed. Mbeumo and Cunha will bolster a side that has also seen 18-year-old Diego Leon arrive from Cerro Porteno after striking an agreement to sign him in January. In terms of outgoings, Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Alejandro Garnacho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia are searching for new clubs. Christian Eriksen and Victor Lindelof have left on free transfers, while Jonny Evans has retired.
