Summer Games Fest 2025: Marvel's Deadpool VR Features Voice of Neil Patrick Harris
Marvel's Deadpool VR made its debut at Summer Games Fest 2025, revealing a deep look into the gameplay with a new trailer. The game will be out exclusively on the Meta Quest 3 and 3S. The game is created by Twisted Pixel and Oculus Studios, in collaboration with Marvel Games. One of the coolest parts of this title is that the titular character will be voiced by Neil Patrick Harris aka NPH. Finally, a chance to slip inside Deadpool's sweaty skintight suit and really become the Merc with a Mouth in all his flippy-shooty-off-the-wall glory.
Marvel's Deadpool VR features an all-new original story. After being pulled through a portal toMojoworld, Deadpool sees a chance to get rich—like really rich. He signs a sketchy contract withoutreading any of the fine print (almost like his dealings in the recent third Deadpool film) and then it's off to visit a bunch of locations from across the Marvel Universe, battling against iconic (and not-so-iconic) villains. It's real metaverse stuff—in the Marvel Universe sense, not the VR one.
Twisted Pixel spent years capturing Deadpool's unique blend of parkour and combat, building onthe beat-em-up bona fides it established in Path of the Warrior. Players will be able to do all the fun and dangerous things Deadpool gets into, from simple stabs to punching someone while holding a grenade. You can even throw around severed limbs. Woah! Yuck! The possibilities are almsot endless.
Deadpool VR will release later this year on Meta Quest 3 and 3S. Fans can check out the blog for updates.

Ironheart head writer Chinaka Hodge simply could not tell a story set in Chicago without having her hero pay a visit to the home of square, steamed, onion-infused sliders. Once Riri flees outside, she is scooped up by N.A.T.A.L.I.E. (Lyric Ross), the AI piloting her suit, just in time to face off against a super-bionic Zeke Stane (Solo: A Star Wars Story's Alden Ehrenreich) — wrecking the White Castle sign out front along the way. Given that she delivered one of White Castle's niftiest on-camera showcases since the days of Harold and Kumar, TVLine had to ask Ironheart EP Chinaka Hodge if the fast food chain holds special meaning to her. 'It was my idea! I take credit for it,' she was quick to note during a Zoom with TVLine, while fellow Ironheart EP Ryan Coogler chuckled heartily next to her. 'My mom is from Illinois…,' Hodge went on to explain, 'and growing up, she would talk about — ooh, how do this in a deft way for our partners at White Castle? — how rare it was to have the delight of a slider. But being a California kid, I never had one.' That situation changed at a family reunion in the Midwest, where 'my cousin got me a big ol' box of sliders and I ate as much as Riri ate,' Hodge recalled. Indeed, Riri was in the midst of veritably inhaling sliders, crinkle cut fries and loads of information about the demonic Dormammu when her binge got crashed by the Bloods. 'My partner has a 'sad food,' and it's Popeye's [chicken],' Hodge shared. 'I don't think White Castle is a 'sad food' because you can't stay sad when you eat it, apparently.
