Who Should Amaya Papaya Couple Up With to Win ‘Love Island USA'?
To be clear, Amaya is technically coupled up right now with Zak, but after Tuesday's mailbox challenge, I can't see her wanting to move forward with him. During the challenge, Zak, Austin, and Ace all criticized her for being too emotional and too affectionate. Her perfect response? 'You know, sometimes I'm not the book that someone should be reading, and that's okay.' Amaya 'The Poet' Papaya!
Watching her stand there get attacked for feeling emotions, I realized I absolutely need my 'sensitive gangster' to make it into the finale. So, which Love Island USA man should Amaya couple up with next? I have a few thoughts.
Pepe hasn't expressed interest in Amaya romantically and he is technically taken. That said, based off of the tension between him and his current partner in the Villa, Gracyn, he won't be coupled up for much longer. Once single, it would make sense for Pepe to hook up with Amaya. The two are both gorgeous, sweet, and understanding. They are also two of the fans' favorites in the Villa. Together, they would be unstoppable.
Chris has expressed interest in Amaya before, and if his current connection with Huda has proven anything, it's that he's understanding and more emotionally mature than some of the other men in the Villa (*cough* Austin *cough*). Personally, I think Chris and Amaya would have a lot of fun together. They're both pretty easy going and committed to enjoying their Love Island experience.
Elan has a lot of things going for him in the Villa right now. He's single, relatively drama-free thus far, and he's explicitly stated that he's interested in Amaya. He even comforted her during the mailbox challenge. Is he Amaya's type? I don't think so. Is he charming enough to win Love Island USA on his own? Also no, but he is available, and he could be what she needs to make it to the next round.
Bryan and Andreina are fizzling out and could be reaching their final days as a couple. Bryan told some of the guys that he had his eyes set on Gracyn, but seeing after he defended Amaya during the mailbox challenge has some fans hoping he'll take an interest in her instead.
Of course, she could still decide to try to make it work with Zak (boo), and it's possible another bombshell could enter the Villa sweep her off her feet! Whatever happens, I'm team Amaya Papaya to the end.

Meg then interjects with "Well he clearly doesn't want her" to which Billykiss says, "Well he didn't say that." She then tells Dejon, "You say you're open then when she's not around you don't act like you're closed." He replies, "Please Billykiss, is this like your five minutes of TV or what? I don't understand why you're still going on." Later, Billykiss says to Dejon, "You don't want to hear the truth which is why you're feeling sour." Wow, we were not expecting this drama to unfold. Is a new love triangle emerging? Love Island continues on ITV2 at 9pm.

Revealed: How Love Island's Megan and Conor knew each other before the show, as she reveals secret connection
Former Love Island star Megan Forte Clarke has revealed that she and Conor Philips actually knew each other before appearing on the show. Speaking in an interview, the 24-year-old from Dublin said: "On day one [of Love Island] Conor told me that he followed me on Instagram four years ago." She added to heatworld: "I never followed him back. Since coming out I've seen that he follows me on TikTok and he's commented on one of my TikToks. Again, I've not followed him back or even realised he'd commented on one. It's nice that he's still trying four years later, it's worked out for him now I suppose." Megan has since followed Conor back, telling Cosmopolitan UK: "I've already given him the follow... I'm like Instagram is looking good. I can approve of this." Megan's revalation comes after fans suspected that the duo may have already dated outside of the show. On Friday night's episode (27th June), Megan was dumped from the villa after receiving the fewest votes from the public. As she packed her bags, they shared an emotional goodbye and Conor could be seen crying, which some thought was a little dramatic considering they'd not known each other for long. However, a fan revealed "evidence" which they believe proves Megan and Conor knew each other before the show and even dated. One fan found photos of Conor and Megan out at similar venues. "Photo of Megan and Conor at the same place btw, proving they were together in real life,' the photos are captioned on TikTok. However one fan pointed out in the comments: "They may have been in the same place, doesn't mean they knew each other. I'm sure at some point, we've all been in the same place as somebody we met later in life." Another fan shared a photo of a picture from Conor's Instagram of him with a girl, who looks very similar to Megan with the caption: "Biggest plot of 2025... Conor and Megan are dating in real life and have been planning this this whole time." Fans are reacting to 'Love Island' cyberbullying PSA. Are they right?
Between bombshells and challenges, there's no shortage of drama on Season 7 of "Love Island USA." There's also no shortage of fan ire, with many expressing their frustrations on social media and some crossing the line by commenting on the islanders' physical attributes and harassing their family members. The audience response prompted the show to issue a statement that appeared on-screen ahead of the June 24 episode: 'The keyword in Love Island is… love. We love our fans. We love our islanders. We don't love cyberbullying, harassment or hate.' "Love Island USA" also posted a similar statement on their X account and the show's host, Ariana Madix, addressed the issue on a June 21 episode of 'Aftersun,' the program's aftershow. 'Don't be going on islanders' pages and saying rude things,' she said, encouraging fans to delete negative posts as the show's cast remains secluded during production. But the statement received backlash from some fans who argue the call is coming from inside the house (or in this case, the villa). Cyberbullying: People can't stop talking about Huda on 'Love Island.' Will we ever learn our lesson? 'How you gunna be anti bullying but you let it happen in your house???' one user said on the show's X post. Oppliger credits "Love Island USA" for setting boundaries with fans and modeling good behavior but she also called the cyberbullying statement 'fluffy' and 'nonserious.' The tone of the statement was not urgent enough and it failed to outline some of the dangers of cyberbullying, she argued. This isn't the first time "Love Island USA" reminded fans to keep it civil. Ahead of the Season 6 reunion, the show encouraged the viewers to "always choose to be kind." 'The reunion is full of drama, but remember – these are real people, so let's keep it kind and positive. Let's end the season with the same love and respect we started with!" according to the statement posted on X on Aug. 19. 'I had 24 hours to pack all my stuff, fly out (and) right when I land, they put me in a van and they're like, 'you have 20 minutes to get ready,'' she said. 'I didn't have my hot tools (for hair). I couldn't do anything… It was a mess. I was in panic mode the whole time.' The best way to discourage cyberbullying and harassment from fans is for reality TV shows to model positive behavior through filming and production, and to communicate that message throughout the season and outside the show, Oppliger said. The onslaught of online harassment and bullying also shows the need to teach media literacy so that viewers understand that reality television shows "are not real," she said.
