A Lioness super fan has already got her tattoo appointment booked for the faces of her football heroes.
Kayleigh Knipe Thompson is ready to dedicate her left calf for England's women's team, saying 'she wouldn't be here' without her love of the game.
The 34-year-old travelled set off at 3.30am from her home in Sheffield, picking up other fans on the way, to make today's trophy parade.
She told Metro: 'I'm booked to get all of them on Friday, and have planned out the sketches. I just love football so much.'
Members of both the 2022 and 2025 victory teams are set to make an appearance on Kayleigh's leg, including Mary Earps, Alessia Russo, Lucy Bronze, and Hannah Hampton.
They will sit alongside the Three Lions badge and a picture of the Women's Euro 2022 trophy – with the 2025 date also set to be added underneath.
'I'm also saving space for the World Cup,' Kayleigh added. 'I just love all football, and the girls deserve to be remembered for what they have achieved.'
Kayleigh, who is a trained UEFA coach, offered to give strangers a lift down to the celebration as she had room in her car.
She drove to pick up Ellie Green in Salford, who managed to make it over to Switzerland for the final, with the pair becoming firm friends despite meeting for the first time today.
Ellie said: 'We had never met before but all of a sudden had a four hour drive down together, but we were just chatting easily the whole way down.'
Kayleigh added: 'All the Lioness fans are just like one family, I put the offer out there on a Facebook group because I had space in my car – everyone deserves to go if they are able.'
The Lionesses enjoyed a homecoming celebration today following their historic triumph at Euro 2025.
England supporters were able to get a glimpse of the team in an open-top double decker bus procession along The Mall – ending in front of Buckingham Palace.
At The Mall, one Spanish family have even come to celebrate while they holidayed in London – despite thinking 'England got lucky'.

Francisco Del Rio, from Malaga, said: 'The match was very 50/50, and England only one on penalties.
'But the atmosphere is great, we have had a few people tease us but it's been great.' More Trending
Nine-year-old Arlo Harris insisted he much prefers watching the women's team rather than the men's as the standard 'was just better'.
His mum Sophie left their home in Plymouth with him at 4.30am to make sure they got a glimpse of the trophy.
She said, while dancing with Arlo on her back: 'They are great role models for both boys and girls.
'There's such a sense of unity here. With everything sad going on in the news at the moment, everyone here of all ages is just happy celebrating England.'

‘New level of disrespect' cry NC500 locals as ‘feral' campers pitch tents on poignant memorial

A group of tourists visited the Marie Curie Field of Hope in North Sutherland, one of the most northernly spots on the 516-mile tourist route. It is a small field with 2,000 flowers in a overlooks Strathy Point and Dunnet Head and the Orkney islands. The field honours the work of Marie Curie Cancer Care and remembers people who have tragically lost their lives to the disease. The site has also been used for people to scatter their loved ones ashes. But a group of campers completely ignored the special nature of the site by using it to set up their tents. An image of the field was posted on a local Facebook page. It showed three tents pitched on top of the memorial flowers and a folding chair. Locals were quick to express their anger at the campers. One person said: "Lovely place to camp for the night in the Marie Curie Field of Hope outside Melvich. "Ignorant people and then they wonder why locals don't welcome them. Locals fury at NC500 pranksters "People have scattered loved ones ashes in there… just disgusting." Another added: "That's a whole new level of disrespect." A third local claimed they challenged the group, saying: "I'd have told them to move on - find somewhere else - huge disrespect." A fourth commented: "That's ridiculous, do they have any idea of the grief they will cause people who have had their parents looked after by the Marie Curie trust? There's no need to use the spot." A fifth resident branded their campsite "feral behaviour" while another said it was "appalling". Another person said: "That's well over the line of decency, what on earth goes through their heads? "Blatant disrespect and entitlement."

Ncuti Gatwa heavily teases he 'might' return to Doctor Who

To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Ncuti Gatwa just dropped an almighty tease about a possible return to Doctor Who after his swift two-season run as the main man. The Sex Education actor, 32, stepped into the role in 2023, but after just 18 months departed amid low viewing figures and a lack of hype surrounding the series. At the time, Ncuti explained he walked away from the iconic role because he was 'getting old'. He continued, talking to Laura Kuenssberg: 'My body was tired. It takes a lot out of you. Physically, emotionally, mentally. It was time.' But the road might not be over just yet. Wake up to find news on your TV shows in your inbox every morning with Metro's TV Newsletter. On tonight's episode of The One Show, when quizzed by Alex Jones about his regret of never having fought a Dalek or Cyberman – Doctor Who's most iconic villains – he responded with what appeared to be a tease. 'I never got to fight a Dalek or a Cyberman. Just the crux of Doctor Who. Yeah, so… Might do that… Might go fight a Dalek,' he said, before Jamie Lee Curtis erupted on the sofa next to him, and joked the BBC magazine show was giving them 'truth serum' instead of water. 'I know!' Ncuti exclaimed, before taking a drink of water. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video In the final episode of Doctor Who, aired on May 31 by Disney and BBC, saw Ncuti 'regenerate' into an unexpected form, as is tradition with the show when a new Doctor replaces another. This time, though, the 15th doctor regenerated into Billie Piper, who played the Doctor's assistant Rose Tyler between 2005 and 2010 alongide David Tennent. Whether she is the 16th Doctor remains to be seen. In a press release after the regeneration, the BBC said: 'Just how and why she [Billie Piper] is back remains to be seen…' Billie said fans would have to 'wait and see' what she does next . Many fans noted that in the credits for the last episode The Reality War, where Billie made the unexpected return, she was not credited as the Doctor as in all other cases, but simply: 'Introducing Billie Piper.' It seems Billie might be returning in a smaller capacity, as in an interview with The Independent in 2024, she previously explained: 'I wouldn't go back as a full-time thing, but I'd love to make another appearance.' Meanwhile, in a statement announcing his departure, Ncuti – who is the first Doctor since Christopher Eccleston to act in fewer than three seasons – said: 'You know when you get cast, at some point you are going to have to hand back that sonic screwdriver and it is all going to come to an end, but nothing quite prepares you for it.' He added: 'There are no words to describe what it feels like to be cast as the Doctor, nor are there words to explain what it feels like to be accepted into this iconic role that has existed for over 60 years and is truly loved by so many across the globe.' To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Gatwa thanked fans for making it a 'touching experience', adding: 'I've loved every minute of it, but now is the time to hand over the keys to that beloved blue box and let someone else take control and enjoy it every bit as much as I have. 'I'll truly miss it, and forever be grateful to it, and everyone that has played a part in my journey as the Doctor.' Ncuti's desire to fight a Dalek has been well-documented over the years, as he told Entertainment Weekly early doors: 'What on earth would be the point of me being Doctor Who if I never fight the Daleks?' Despite this, the bubble-wrapped bin villains never showed up on screen during his tenure, and neither did Cybermen and the Master. While the next series of Doctor Who hasn't officially been confirmed, it's been reported the BBC will continue the series regardless of whether Disney are up for future collaborations or not. More Trending This came after rumours Disney could be withdrawing its partnership due to poor viewing figures. However, Doctor Who fans will be pleased to hear The Mirror reported a few months ago that showrunner Russell T Davies has planned the next two seasons, with scripts for season 16 almost finished and the 17th season in the works. So perhaps Ncuti really does know something we don't… The One Show airs every weekday at 7pm. Got a story? Moira pays a heavy price in Emmerdale as Kim's victory is all but sealed

It looks like it might be all over for Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) in Emmerdale. Last week, Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) arrived at Butlers Farm to propose the idea of the Tates buying Moira's farm from her. The offer came at a time when Moira was feeling vulnerable, as she had just been told her appeal to the water company had been declined. It left Moira seriously contemplating selling up. She would give Kim Tate (Claire King) the responsibility of looking after the business side of the farm but her family would still live in Butlers, and she'd still work as a farmer there. It was incredibly tempting, but Moira then made a discovery that made the offer go out the window. Moira had learnt that Joe paid Noel from the water company to deliberately turn down her appeal. This left her adamant she wouldn't be signing the contract, and it left Joe very annoyed. Moira has spent this week consumed with even more stress. On Monday, two lads broke into a barn and terrified Kyle (Huey Quinn) and Isaac (Bobby Dunsmuir). She assumed Joe was behind organising it, and then made her way to Home Farm to confront him. Moira went to hit Joe, but Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) got in the way. This led to PC Swirling (Andy Moore) arriving to arrest Moira and at this point, it felt like her living nightmare was never going to end. In this evening's episode, Moira received a worrying phone call. More Trending A while later, Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) returned home following another argument with his siblings. As he sat down, Moira revealed that the supermarket they supply goods to has now pulled out of their deal. Want to be the first to hear shocking EastEnders spoilers? Who's leaving Coronation Street? They didn't tell Moira why but she didn't need a reason – she knew Joe had sabotaged things for them. Moira told her husband that she had been through everything and as far as she's concerned, nothing else can be done. Joe Tate has won, and Kim is about to get her land.
