The most powerful Android gaming tablet arrives next week and it's a doozy
We know that because RedMagic has just posted several pictures showing the futuristic design of the Tablet 3 Pro, along with the note that the slate will be introduced in China next week. At first glance, the RedMagic Tablet 3 Pro might look very thick by today's standards, but that's because gaming tablets and phones have special needs in order to function properly while playing for longer periods of time. We're talking about complex cooling systems that are meant to prevent the tablet from overheating.
RedMagic Tablet 3 Pro | Images credits: RedMagic This is certainly not the most portable tablet, but for a gaming device, it's pretty sleek. It clearly has a bigger display than the Nintendo Switch 2, which has just been released on the market, and you can probably attach both keyboard or wireless controllers for a smoother gaming experience.Besides revealing the design of its flagship gaming tablet, RedMagic also confirmed the Tablet 3 Pro will be equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite, the latest chipset launched by the US-based company.Although that's about all we know so far about RedMagic's new wonder product, we won't have to wait too long for all the information to be revealed. The RedMagic Tablet 3 Pro will be launched in China on June 11, but it's safe to assume the tablet will be released globally a few weeks later.
It remains to be seen how much this will cost, but since it's a flagship product, we're probably looking at a $1,000 price tag for the cheapest model.

Deals: the Apple iPhone 16 and Google Pixel 9 series are on sale
Peter, 06 July 2025 You don't see iPhone discounts often, but this week the entire 16 series is on sale – including the 16e. On the other side of the iOS/Android divide, the Pixels are on sale too. The Apple iPhone 16e serves as the 'cheap' iPhone after the SE series was discontinued. We put it in quotes since it's not that cheap – but having a €100 discount helps. You do lose quite a few features compared to the vanilla 16, though – here is a detailed iPhone 16e vs. iPhone 16 comparison. Those extra features come at a price, however, somewhere around €200, depending on which storage option you are looking at. Of course, if you are looking at more capable models, you should also consider the similarly-sized Pro – here is the iPhone 16 vs. 16 Pro head-to-head article. Some people prefer larger displays and batteries and the Apple iPhone 16 Plus offers just that. Here is how it compares with the smaller iPhone 16. There is a similar debate among the Pro duo – their features are mostly the same, the main differences stem from the display and battery size. Check out the iPhone 16 Pro vs. 16 Pro Max for a detailed discussion on the pros and cons of each model. We promised you Pixels and here they are, starting with the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL. It has the biggest discount here – up to €383 – though we will warn you that the exact amount depends on both storage and color. Which is better, this or the iPhone? Check out our thoughts on the iPhone 16 Pro Max vs. Pixel 9 Pro XL comparison. Again, you have the option of mostly the same features in a smaller package (with a smaller screen and battery) in the Google Pixel 9 Pro. Still, you can find the in-depth comparison here. Finally, there is the cheaper Google Pixel 9. We would point you to the Pixel 9 vs. 9 Pro article, but the comparison here is not so straightforward – Amazon will sell you an Acer Chromebook for just €5 extra. This is a continuation of the free Chromebook offer from a few weeks ago. It's not a very capable laptop, but coupled with the major discount on the phone (the discount is bigger now), it's a deal worth considering. We may get a commission from qualifying sales.

OnePlus 15s/15T details leak
The OnePlus 13T and OnePlus 13s are very similar devices that represent the brand's latest entry into the 'smaller-screen high-end device' space, and they've only been out for a few weeks at this point. And yet, there's already a rumor about the upcoming OnePlus 15T and 15s (the brand is likely to skip the number 14 due to prevailing tetraphobia in some parts of Asia). According to this rumor, the next generation will have the same screen size. OnePlus 13s However, they will both come with one more camera on the rear, going from two to three, and while the source of this rumor hasn't mentioned it, we think it's safe to assume that an ultrawide will be the third camera. The OnePlus 15T and 15s will also have a bigger battery than the 13T and 13s, as well as a new chipset, which is probably the most unsurprising of these details, seeing as how that's always the main upgrade with every new high-end smartphone generation. It's still unclear when OnePlus is planning on launching these - will it wait a year or will it move quicker? It remains to be seen and we'll let you know when we find out more. Honor freezes, bakes, and shoots the Magic V5 to prove how durable it is
Vlad, 04 July 2025 Honor made the Magic V5 official a couple of days ago, and today it's shared a new promo video for the phone, which is definitely different. It shows the Magic V5 withstanding a simulation of very forceful pouring rain, which isn't that unexpected considering its IP59 rating for protection from high-pressure water jets. The phone is then frozen, then subjected to a very high temperature. Then things get weird. Steel balls are being shot at the phone to make a point about its durability, and of course it withstands the impacts without any issue. See for yourself above. The Honor Magic V5 is thus billed as incredibly tough despite being a foldable. It comes with a 7.95-inch 2172x2352 LTPO AMOLED folding screen, a 6.43-inch 1060x2376 cover display, the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, 12/16GB of RAM, 256GB/512GB/1TB of storage, and a 5,820 mAh battery with support for 66W wired and 50W wireless charging. It has a 50 MP main camera with OIS, a 64 MP periscope telephoto with 3x optical zoom, a 50 MP ultrawide with autofocus, and a couple of 20 MP selfie cameras.
