Goosen at fly half for URC semi-final against Sharks
This question is probably the biggest concern for Bulls fans after Jake White announced his team to take on the Sharks in Saturday's United Rugby Championship (URC) semi-final at Loftus Versfeld.
Goosen, who has struggled with injuries this season, has been included as the starting fly half for Saturday's semi-final, after injuring his knee in a match against Cardiff a month ago. Since then, the Bulls have built momentum without him on their way to the knockout rounds of the competition.
However, according to White, Goosen has recovered and looked particularly sharp on the training field this past week.
There is no doubt that a fit Goosen has the talent, experience and rugby IQ to be a match-winner for the Bulls on Saturday. The opposite is unfortunately also true, as Goosen is one of those enigmatic rugby players who can sometimes play brilliantly, only to lose his mojo in the next game.
If Johan Goosen the rugby wizard turns up, he could be a trump card for the Bulls against a Sharks team that has arguably built even better momentum with impressive performances in the last few league matches of the tournament.
The Sharks also showed their character in last week's thrilling quarter-final match against former URC champions, Munster. This is a team that has come under heavy criticism from both their own supporters and the general rugby public due to the fact that, during the past few seasons, they have dramatically underperformed despite the fact that they have so much experience and top players in their ranks.
There can be no doubt that John Plumtree's men will be a team on a mission when they appear at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday.
Playoff games are about percentage rugby, focus under pressure and taking every possible opportunity to score points.
With both teams boasting great packs of forwards teeming with Springboks, the role of the half-backs will be crucial on Saturday. White also selected Keagan Johannes, who has had very good performances for the Bulls at fly half since Goosen's injury, on the bench as an insurance policy.
With two teams in good form, Saturday's semi-final promises to be a classic titanic arm wrestling match.
Kick-off time is 18:15.
According to the Blue Bulls Company, the match is almost sold out, with fewer than 5000 tickets still available.

Bulls coach Nomlomo makes bold move by shifting Chamberlain to fullback for Currie Cup clash
Bulls coach Phiwe Nomlomo has made a significant change to his team for Saturday's Currie Cup encounter with the Sharks by shifting Boeta Chamberlain from flyhalf to fullback. Chamberlain was the Player of the Match last week when the Bulls crushed Western Province, but his reward is a move to fullback, with Jaco van der Walt starting in the key position. With a handful of players nursing injuries, Nomlomo also opted for a front-row change — Juann Else comes in for Joe van Zyl at hooker. In a notable selection, former Springbok Aphiwe Dyantyi starts in the No. 14 jersey. Dyantyi has been working to relaunch his career after a two-year ban incurred when he tested positive for a performance-enhancing drug. The former Lions player made a comeback for the Sharks last year, but after failing to make their United Rugby Championship squad, he moved to the Bulls.

Lions wing Angelo Davids ready to tear into former Western Province teammates
Angelo Davids of the Lions scores, despite the attentions of Phiko Sobahle of the Sharks, at Ellis Park last weekend. He will face his former Province teammates on Saturday. Lions wing Angelo Davids will face his former Western Province teammates when the Joburg side host the visitors from the Cape in Saturday's Currie Cup match at Ellis Park after a try-scoring debut against the Sharks last weekend. The former Blitzbok flyer joined the Lions recently as a replacement for Springboks wing Edwill van der Merwe, who left for the Sharks, and could hardly have asked for a better start at his new home than the 46-5 win over the defending champions. Victory against his former side would arguably be sweeter for Davids, who was once again named in Mziwakhe Nkosi's Lions starting side that features three changes to the matchday 23.

Currie Cup round two preview: Pressure already on some teams
It's only round two of this year's Currie Cup and already some teams are under pressure to win this weekend. Because all the teams will only play seven regular competition matches over one round and there not being home and away legs the pressure is already on for some teams in this year's Currie Cup competition. And we've only had one round of action. For the teams who lost last weekend – Western Province, the Cheetahs, Griquas and the Sharks – it's just about must-win this weekend when round two is played across the country. No team will want to have two defeats to their name with five to play, so it's all set to be a big weekend of action. Friday night action Kicking things off on Friday night (7pm) are the Cheetahs and Pumas who clash in Bloemfontein. Frans Steyn's Cheetahs will be ruing their missed opportunity in Wellington last weekend when they allowed Boland to snatch the win well after the final hooter, and will look to hit back at home this weekend. The Pumas though have proved to be tough Currie Cup competitors in recent years and go into the game on the back of an impressive win at home against Griquas. Saturday fixtures The first match on Saturday sees the Lions, fresh off picking up a big win against the Sharks at Ellis Park last weekend, going up against Western Province, who looked a well beaten side against the travelling Bulls in Cape Town last weekend. Another win for the Lions will set them up nicely for the remainder of the competition, while for Western Province alarm bells could be ringing on Saturday night if they don't win, as will be the case for the Cheetahs. In the late game on Saturday (5.10pm) the Bulls host the Sharks at Loftus and taking into account how things went for these two teams last weekend, the Bulls be favoured to win this one. They won comfortably against Province away, while the Sharks were hammered in Joburg by the Lions. In the final match of the round, Griquas host Boland in Kimberley at 3pm Sunday. The home team will be desperate to pick up a win after their struggles in Mbombela last week, but a second consecutive win for Boland will give them a lot of hope of making the playoffs this season.
