Zerobaseone will roll out physical copies of its fifth EP in the US, a first for the boy band, agency WakeOne Entertainment said Wednesday.
It is releasing the EP 'Blue Paradise' in three different versions —'Hide,' 'Seek' and 'Random' — on April 4.
'We are so happy and excited to hear the news,' said the band, adding that it is proud to have a chance to better reach its fans around the world.
The mini album came out in Korea in February and sold over 1 million copies on the day of release. In addition to the main track 'Blue,' the album contains the group's first subunit endeavors: three songs featuring three members each. The main single was recorded in Japanese as well and was dropped as a digital single last week.
Meanwhile, the nine members are preparing to meet their fans in person in Seoul at their 'Blue Mansion' fan concert on April 18-20.

Jo Yuri to return as singer next month

Jo Yuri is poised to bring out her third EP, 'Episode 25,' on July 14, her agency WakeOne Entertainment announced Tuesday. The new release comes about two years since her previous EP 'Love All' fronted by 'Taxi,' which came in first place on a television music chart show. The upcoming set is titled as the same as her fan concert that ended in April. It was her first such event since she went solo after her former group Iz*One disbanded. At the fan concert, she performed the group's song 'Panorama' as well as her unpublished solo single 'Growls and Purrs.' Meanwhile, she attended the preview event in New York for season 3 of the Netflix series 'Squid Game' last week. She plays one of the main characters in the show, having survived the previous season.

Daybreak's Summer Madness is back

Daybreak will hold a two-day concert in Seoul on July 5-6, said agency Mystic Story on Thursday. This year's show, titled 'Blue,' will be the 11th edition of its annual Summer Madness shows, which began in 2013. The 17-year-old band is hosting "Blue" about six months after its 'Semicolon' concert in December last year. After the two-day performance, Daybreak participated in a series of music festivals and teamed up with the band Lucy in March for their joint show, 'The Player Season 1.' The bands collaborated in 2022 when they dropped singles 'The Answer' and 'Oh-eh.' Last month, the Daybreak released a cover of 'Reminiscence,' the 80s hit song from Sanullim, as part of a project celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Korean rock band.
