Anand Piramal proposed to Isha Ambani at a Mahabaleshwar temple, reveals Ameya Dabli; singer shares details of pre-wedding event
During a conversation with Galatta India, Dabli spoke about the experience of being invited for a pre-wedding event in Mahabaleshwar and said, 'It was beautiful for me because before the world got to know about their wedding. We were called to Mahabaleshwar. This happened because Ajay bhai Piramal and Swati ji Piramal knew us since many years. Vo humein unka mitra maante hain, yeh unki mahaanta hai.'
The singer continued, 'They called me at 11:30 at night that you have to go to Mahabaleshwar tomorrow. A few guests of ours will be present at our farmhouse in the evening. Your brief is 'Dancing under the stars', iss theme par aapko ek concert karna hai. I asked about the head count at the event, he told me 10.'

The family asked Ameya Dabli to play soft music in the morning and energetic numbers in the afternoon. 'The next day, Swati ji also joined on the call and said that the next day, Kokila aunty, Mukesh bhai, Nita bhabhi and everyone else are coming to our house. In the morning, we can do something prayerful, and then lunch music should be energetic and peppy. And, because it's a mix of Gujarati and Marwari people, it should be Bollywood also, like Ghoomar. They are huge Bollywood fans also, Shah Rukh unka favourite hai,' he revealed.
However, nothing about Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal's wedding was revealed to Dabli. 'In this brief, we were never told that Isha and Anand like each other or are going to get married. No one knew. We reached, and the next day, Anand ji proposed Isha ji in a temple. The previous night we were performing, we didn't know,' he said.
'Those three siblings and their friends, there were five couple like this. That was the first time we saw them together as a couple. Ek couple ka behaviour ek dost ke behaviour se alag hota hai. Then, we got to know that they are a couple,' the singer concluded.

‘Ladki Beautiful' to Lok Sabha polls—Rahul Fazilpuria, Haryana rapper who survived Gurugram gun attack
Sandeep Kumar, Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Gurugram Police, confirmed to ThePrint Wednesday that an FIR has been registered at Badshahpur police station in connection with the incident. The 35-year-old artist, celebrated for his chart-topping tracks and a brief foray into politics, emerged unharmed but shaken, as police launched a probe to uncover the motive behind the brazen assault. Gurugram: Haryanvi singer and rapper Rahul Yadav, popularly known as Rahul Fazilpuria, and singer of the popular song 'Ladki beautiful' narrowly escaped a 'life-threatening attack' on Monday night. Unidentified assailants allegedly opened fire on his vehicle on the Southern Peripheral Road (SPR) near Badshahpur in Gurugram's Sector 71. 'We have identified the accused and recovered the car used in the crime, a Tata Punch,' Kumar said. 'The motive of the crime is not known so far, but we are investigating all angles.' CCTV footage from the scene captured the assailants' vehicle trailing Fazilpuria's white Mahindra Thar moments before the alleged attack, which occurred around 7:30 pm. The police have formed two teams, including members of the Crime Branch, to apprehend the suspects. Rahul Fazilpuria did not answer the calls and a message sent by ThePrint to his mobile phone. This report will be updated once he responds. Also read: Ambitious, online, independent—Radhika Yadav killed by father she once danced with after wins A grassroots star from Fazilpur village Born on 10 April 1990, in Fazilpur village near Gurugram, Rahul Yadav adopted the stage name Fazilpuria as a tribute to his roots. From a well-to-do family with a legacy in business, Fazilpuria's journey to stardom was marked by personal and professional challenges. The untimely death of his father during Rahul's youth left the family in disarray. Undeterred, Rahul took on the responsibility of managing the family business while nurturing his passion for music. The loss of his mother in 2016 further tested his resilience, but he continued to pursue his singing career, blending Haryanvi folk with urban rap to create a distinctive sound that resonated with audiences across India. Rise to fame with blockbuster hits Fazilpuria's breakthrough came in 2014 with the infectious rap song 'Ladki Beautiful Kar Gayi Chull', a collaboration with rapper Badshah that became a cultural phenomenon. The track was later featured in the 2016 Bollywood blockbuster 'Kapoor & Sons', starring Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra, and Fawad Khan, cementing his place in the music industry. The song's catchy beats and Haryanvi flair earned it millions of streams and a lasting legacy in Bollywood. His musical recordings include other hits like 'Pallo Latke' in the film 'Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana', featuring Kriti Kharbanda and Rajkummar Rao, which has garnered over 357 million views on YouTube. Fazilpuria also contributed 'Kharch Karod' to Randeep Hooda's 'Laal Rang', along with tracks like '2 Many Girls', '32 Bore', 'Jimmy Choo', 'Lalla Lohri', and 'Chori Maar Dalegi', which showcased his ability to blend desi and urban elements. His work earned him the Best Rapper Award at the Haryana Entertainment & Music Awards in 2019, solidifying his influence in the Haryanvi and Bollywood music scenes. Political ambitions and electoral setback In 2024, Fazilpuria ventured into politics, contesting the Lok Sabha elections from Gurugram as a candidate for the Jannayak Janta Party (JJP), led by former Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala. Running against formidable opponents—BJP's Rao Inderjit Singh and Congress's Raj Babbar—he secured 13,278 votes, finishing third. Not without controversy Fazilpuria's career has not been without controversy. His close association with YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav has drawn scrutiny, particularly in 2023, when both were implicated in a case involving the alleged use of snakes of a rare species and a .32 bore pistol in a music video titled '32 Bore'. The complaint, filed by People for Animals (PFA), led to an FIR by the Gurgaon Police. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) subsequently questioned Fazilpuria and Yadav in a money laundering probe linked to snake venom and rave parties, seizing assets worth over Rs 58 lakh, including three acres of land in Bijnor registered in Fazilpuria's name. Earlier, Fazilpuria faced legal issues in 2017 when he was fined and his Mercedes was impounded for drunk driving in Gurgaon. Fazilpuria had then claimed that he was not drunk and the breath analyser had detected the Vodka-flavoured paan he ate a few minutes before the police stopped him. Despite these setbacks, Fazilpuria has maintained his focus on his career and public image. Personal Struggles and Resilience Fazilpuria's personal life has seen its share of challenges. In 2016, he married Himani, a Gurugram native, in a love-cum-arranged marriage, but the union ended in divorce within three years, reportedly due to time constraints and professional commitments. Despite these personal losses, Fazilpuria has continued to channel his energy into his music and business ventures, earning admiration for his resilience. In 2018, Fazilpuria sought police protection after reporting suspicious activities near his home in Fazilpur village, citing an earlier attack on his car and concerns about being followed by unknown bikers. The 14 July attack bore a striking resemblance to the 2022 murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, with assailants in two vehicles—a Tata Punch and a Harrier—pursuing Fazilpuria's Thar. Fazilpuria's quick thinking allowed him to speed away, leveraging heavy traffic to evade the assailants. The incident occurred just a kilometer from his village, near CSD Apartments. Kiran Kumar recalls Salim Khan being kind to him during early days of his career and Salman Khan's super stardom: 'It's very rare to find a family like them...'
Kiran Kumar fondly remembers Salim Khan's pivotal role in launching his Bollywood career, acknowledging his early guidance and support. He attributes Salman Khan's success to the family's strong values instilled by Salim. Kiran recalls expressing his gratitude in a unique way, thanking Salim's image on a hoarding after a party, showcasing his deep respect. Veteran actor Kiran Kumar recently opened up about the immense impact legendary screenwriter Salim Khan had on his early career. In a candid and heartfelt chat, he reflected on the kindness shown by Salim during his formative years in the film industry and offered rare praise for the entire Khan family—especially Salman Khan , whose superstardom, Kiran believes, is rooted in the family's values and collective good karma. In a chat with Kunickaa Sadanand on her YouTube channel, Kiran revealed that his father, veteran actor Jeevan—famous for playing Narad Muni—shared a close bond with Salim Khan. On Salim's suggestion, Kiran was sent to boarding school to learn discipline. After returning to Mumbai, his ties with the Khan family remained strong. Though he had made a name in Gujarati cinema, it was Salim Khan who gave him his break in Hindi films by offering him a small but meaningful role. Reflecting on his bond with the Khan family, the actor called Salim Khan his "guardian angel," sharing that he would often visit him for coffee and guidance. He also recalled being cast in Auzaar, the directorial debut of Salim's son Sohail Khan , and noted that he has worked in several films alongside Salman Khan as well. He also went on to praise the entire Khan family, calling them exceptional and grounded despite their fame. He credited Salman Khan's superstardom to the family's collective good karma and highlighted Salim Khan's values as the foundation. 'Salman has a golden heart,' he said, adding that much of the credit rightfully goes to Salim Khan. Kiran admitted he never found the right moment or courage to thank Salim directly for all the support he had received. But in a memorable, if unconventional, gesture, he once expressed his gratitude in a drunken state. Recalling the night, he shared that after a party, around 2:30 AM, he passed by a Being Human store featuring a hoarding of Salman and Salim Khan. Overcome with emotion, he got out of his car, sat on the store's steps, and thanked Salim Khan's image on the hoarding—his own heartfelt, if slightly inebriated, tribute to a man he considers his guardian angel.

Meet actor who started career with TV, then worked in a Shah Rukh Khan film, is now a star, his name is..
Before he wore the uniform of Captain Vikram Batra and won hearts with 'Yeh Dil Maange More,' he was fighting battles of his own — behind the camera, on TV sets, and in a forgotten debut that never saw the light of day. Who is this handsome hunk who made fans swoon for over a decade? Sidharth Malhotra — the boy who shared screen space with Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan in Student of the Year — has come a long way from campus rom-coms to uniformed heroism. But few know he started his career not in front of the camera, but behind it. Was Sidharth Malhotra always meant to be on screen? Not quite. Long before his Bollywood debut in 2012, Sidharth was grinding quietly. He began as a model but found his first acting break in 2009's historical TV series Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan, where he played the role of Jai Chand. Sidharth Malhotra was an Assistant Director Yes. His big break came not with a role, but with a credit behind the scenes. In 2010, he assisted Karan Johar on My Name Is Khan, where he worked closely with SRK and Kajol. Interestingly, Varun Dhawan was also on the same team. From Student to Shershaah, how did the shift happen? Though Student of the Year gave him a glittery start, his true moment came with Shershaah (2021), where he portrayed Kargil hero Captain Vikram Batra. The film didn't hit theatres, but it broke streaming records and earned him critical acclaim. Over 13 years, he's shown his range, from romantic leads in Hasee Toh Phasee and Kapoor & Sons to gritty roles in Ek Villain and Marjaavaan. Post-Shershaah, he's stepped into a new role, that of a husband. But with new projects lined up and a loyal fan base, it's clear that his cinematic journey is far from over.
