Hamba Exhibition for Pakistani Mangoes and Products returns for 2nd edition at Souq Waqif
The organization of this second edition comes in response to the great success of last year's inaugural event, which witnessed wide public attendance and positive engagement. This year, the exhibition features participation from over 60 local Qatari companies and more than 10 specialized Pakistani companies involved in mango trading and export. These companies will provide top-quality, fresh mango varieties flown in specifically for the exhibition, including new types being introduced for the first time in the Qatari market.
The exhibition also boasts the participation of more than 25 restaurants and shops in the food and hospitality sector, offering innovative dishes and a wide range of mango-based products, adding a unique cultural and culinary dimension to the visitor experience.
On this occasion, Mr. Khalid Saif Al-Suwaidi, General Supervisor of the Exhibition, said:
'We are launching the second edition of the Hamba Exhibition in cooperation with the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, aiming to deliver a rich experience that combines authentic flavors and high quality. We have ensured that the exhibition site is equipped with suitable cooling systems to maintain the freshness of mangoes, which are flown in daily from Pakistan specifically for this event. We anticipate a strong turnout this year and are committed to offering an even better experience than last year's highly praised edition.'
Al-Suwaidi added:
'What distinguishes this year's exhibition is the extensive participation of both local and Pakistani companies specializing in mango trade and products. We hope this will stimulate economic activity by enhancing trade exchange and fostering healthy competition among traders, ultimately benefiting local consumers through variety and quality.'
He also noted that daily visiting hours will be from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, extending to 10:00 PM on official holidays. He invited the public to visit the exhibition early to enjoy the diverse mango varieties arriving from different regions of Pakistan, emphasizing that some premium types may sell out quickly due to expected demand.
Al-Suwaidi further advised visitors:
'We recommend everyone arrive early to secure the finest mangoes brought in exclusively for this exhibition, flown in fresh daily from Pakistan. We hope to meet everyone's expectations and deliver an even more exceptional experience this year.'
For the part, Ambassador of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, H.E. Muhammad Aamer,
"This year marks the second edition of the Pakistan Mango Exhibition in Doha, following the remarkable success of last year's event.
