April 4 - Former Iowa guard Josh Dix announced his commitment to Creighton on Friday.
The 6-foot-6 guard entered the transfer portal on March 19 following the dismissal of longtime Iowa head coach Fran McCaffery.
His teammate with the Hawkeyes, center Owen Freeman, previously committed to the Bluejays.
As a junior this season at Iowa, Dix averaged career highs in points (14.4), rebounds (3.2), assists (2.8) and steals (0.9) per game. His 42.2 shooting percentage from 3-point range also was a career high.
He scored in double figures in 27 of his 32 games played in 2024-25. 247Sports ranked him as a four-star prospect and the No. 2 shooting guard in the transfer portal.
At Creighton, he joins a program that finished 25-11, ending with a loss to No. 1 Auburn in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

Fever rule Caitlin Clark out with groin injury

June 26 - Superstar Caitlin Clark is out of the Indiana Fever's game against the Los Angeles Sparks on Thursday in Indianapolis due to a left groin injury. It is not immediately known if Clark will miss an extended period of time for the Fever (7-7), who announced the No. 1 pick in the 2024 draft wouldn't play in Thursday's game. Clark, 23, sat out five games due to a left quad injury before returning to action against the Liberty on June 14. She scored 32 points in her return, but is just 1-for-23 from 3-point range in three games following the game against the Liberty. The second-year guard is averaging 18.2 points, 8.9 assists and 5.6 rebounds in nine games (all starts) this season for Indiana. Clark is shooting 39.0 percent from the field and 29.5 percent from 3-point range. Clark won Rookie of the Year honors and made the All-Star and All-WNBA teams in 2024-25 following a record-setting career at Iowa. --Field Level Media

BREAKING NEWS Caitlin Clark dealt another huge blow as nightmare Indiana Fever season continues

Caitlin Clark has been sidelined by an injury once again. The reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year missed five games earlier this season due to a quad issue, and has struggled badly from the field at times since returning earlier this month. Now, Clark has been ruled out of the Fever's Thursday matchup against the Sparks with a left groin injury. The former Iowa star had her worst game of the season on Tuesday against the Storm, scoring just six points on 3 of 13 shooting with eight turnovers. And while she's scoring just a point less (18.2 points) per contest than her rookie year, Clark's efficiency has plunged in her first nine games this season. Her three-point percentage has fallen to 29.5 percent from 34.4 percent, while her two-point field goal percentage has also fallen from 53.3 percent to 50.8 percent.
