UNICEF Spokesperson: What is happening in Gaza is disgrace to International Community
Gaza - Saba:
The UNICEF spokesperson in Palestine, Kazem Abu Khalaf, described the situation in the Gaza Strip as a disgrace to the international community, adding that Palestinian citizens in Gaza are being starved and then killed.
In press statements on Sunday, Abu Khalaf stated that "Israel" is disregarding the lives of Gaza's residents and international law.
He pointed out that the violations in Gaza are well-documented, stressing that the international community has failed morally and catastrophically in addressing these violations.
Earlier in the day, the Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip reported that the number of martyrs from the Israeli-American aid distribution centers has risen to 580, with 4,216 injuries and 39 missing—all of them starving civilians searching for food under siege and starvation.
With U.S. support, the enemy army has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, resulting in over 185,000 martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11,000 missing.
