Tu Yaa Main: Shanaya Kapoor and Adarsh Gourav's a romantic survival thriller gets a fresh update. For those unversed, the film is slated for release on Valentine's 2026.
Tu Yaa Main Movie: After impressing the audience with her performance in Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, Shanaya Kapoor will next be seen in Bejoy Nambiar's Tu Yaa Main, co-starring Adarsh Gourav. The first look of the actors from the film was released a while ago, leaving other details under wraps. Before the film's release next year, filmmaker Aanand L Rai's Colour Yellow Productions has teamed up with Vinod Bhanushali's Bhanushali Studios Limited to co-create a slate of films that push creative boundaries and champion bold, new storytelling. Leading the charge is Shanaya-Adarsh's Tu Yaa Main.
Shanaya Kapoor and Adarsh Gourav's Tu Yaa Main is a high-concept romantic survival thriller. Directed by Bejoy Nambiar, the film begins as a meet-cute and quickly escalates into an intense, music-fuelled, edge-of-the-seat survival story. With its pulsating soundscape – complete with rappers, beat drops, and layered sound design – the film promises to be as immersive as it is unpredictable.
Speaking about the collaboration, Aanand L Rai said, 'With every film, we want to stretch the boundaries of what stories can feel like. Tu Yaa Main is a bold and surprising new step in that direction. I'm excited to begin this collaboration with Bhanushali Studios, who share our belief in discovering the unexpected."

It's a film that refuses to be boxed into one genre, straddling visceral thrills and heartfelt drama – a hallmark of Rai and Himanshu Sharma's storytelling, now fused with Nambiar's gritty, stylish vision. With this new partnership, Colour Yellow and Bhanushali Studios aim to back stories that celebrate cinematic risk, directorial vision, and genre-bending narratives.

Actor Adarsh Gourav walked the red carpet of the European premiere of his upcoming show Alien: Earth on July 29. He is all set to be seen in a completely different role than his usual ones in the sci-fi series. The premiere event took place at the Barbican Centre, London, and the BAFTA-nominated actor graced the red carpet alongside the rest of the cast of the upcoming show. Taking to his Instagram account on Friday, August 1, Adarsh dropped some glimpses from the premiere. Here's a closer look at it Netizens react to the posters Netizens took to platforms like X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram to share the side-by-side comparisons, criticizing what they call a "copy-paste" trend in Bollywood poster design, which includes everything from the framing of romantic leads where they stick their foreheads together to nearly identical backdrops and poses. Reddit was quick to comment after a user shared the posters for Bollywood's most recent slate of films, which looked similar. A poster of 'Satyaprem Ki Katha' by Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani was shared on the internet, and it was compared to a 'Saiyaara' poster. "Saiyara is also very close to this," the netizen wrote. The color scheme is too similar. Another compares it to Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor. "I mean, how much innovation do you want for romantic films? There will only be a select few poses," another person stated. A fan joked, "Everyone is doing this in their shadi pics too!" The movie has garnered over Rs 300 crore globally, making it one of 2025's most successful projects. 'Dhadak 2', starring Siddhanth Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri, however, had a slow start. It struggled to attract a devoted fanbase, especially when compared to Ajay Devgn's 'Son of Sardaar 2' franchise. 'Son of Sardaar 2' significantly outperformed 'Dhadak 2' on its opening day, earning an impressive Rs 6.75 crore against 'Dhadak 2's Rs 3.35 crore. Similarly, 'Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan', featuring Vikrant Massey and Shanaya Kapoor, also had a modest theatrical run. Despite an opening of Rs 1.61 crore, the film did not manage to perform well at the box office overall.
