The Harman is another stylish and versatile style for everything from workouts to running weekend errands.
Sizes: 3.5-15
Customer Review: 'Perfect sneaker for elevating my everyday look! I wear them to work where I walk about 15 miles a day and they've held up great while making my outfits look stylish. Fits true to size.'

27 Camping Products Reviewers Say You 'Need'

A Coleman lantern perfect for car camping trips — it's essential to keep your path illuminated (and stay safe) with this classic piece of gear. The lantern requires four D batteries, but is also available in a rechargeable version!Promising review: "I bought this product because we get a lot of storms where I live, and sometimes we lose power. This lantern is perfect for that it is super bright, you can go from bright to brighter and the batteries last a long time. I recommend this product for anyone who needs an emergency light or of course for camping. Buy it you won't be disappointed." —lynx7437Get it from Amazon for $41.49. A Yeti Tundra 35 cooler because they really do make some seriously splurge-worthy coolers. This one has an impressive 4.7-star overall rating for its durability and, of course, ability to keep things cold for a wildly long time. Promising review: "They say you get what you pay for and this is no exception. Yeti coolers are a little pricey, but they are superior in quality and performance. This cooler will keep your beverages or whatever else you pack in it cool for days. I recommend this for a person who needs a good, cool storage solution." —Jeremy BGet it from Amazon for $220+ (available in nine colors). A Kelty Loveseat camping chair if snuggling up next to your boo watching the campfire is always your favorite part of the trip. Separate camp chairs are just tooooo far when you're in love! Promising review: "Everyone who has ever sat outside on the ground needs this chair! I am a ground sitter, and my wife is a chair sitter. We knew that our marriage would be fraught with this central tension. We're talking Montague and Capulet stuff here! But this seat, now lovingly referred to as 'the couch,' goes with us whenever we need to hang out (beach, park, parking lot meetup). Soooo comfortable, gently reclined back, and lets you find that perfect slouch. Plenty wide for two plus a small dog. There is no bar separating the 'seats,' just a tension lump, comfortable enough in the small of your back to lie all the way across (if you are not a giant). A little heavy, but it is double the seats, with half the setup. The carry sleeve is very comfortable and well-designed, such an upgrade from the crappy bags that come with generic camp seats. Thank you, Kelty, for fixing all the problems with camp chairs. Now, just make it from titanium and half the price, and it will be inconceivably perfect. Until then, this is as good as it gets. MUST-HAVE!" —aussiphileGet it from Amazon for $129.95 (available in four colors). A timeless cast-iron pan that will honestly outlive you. Cooking all sorts of meat and veggies over the fire will be easy as can be and, not for nothing, quite picturesque. Promising review: "Love this pan!!! Love the size, love the weight! Love the usability. I use this pan for everything from the stove top to the oven to the BBQ and campfire. The only pan you need!" —Basil it from Amazon for $19.99 for a 10.25-inch pan (also available in eight other sizes). Or a pre-seasoned six-piece cast-iron campfire cooking kit with a pan, pot, and Dutch oven. Ambitious camp cooks rejoice — the opportunity to cook a scrumptious three-course meal using only coals has finally arrived. A waterproof power bank to keep your phone, headlamp, navigation, and other essential outdoor tech juiced up and ready to go. The power bank has an IPX67 waterproof rating.I've been testing this power bank out on my last few trips and really like it so far! It's really heavy, so I don't recommend it for backpacking, but for car camping, it's A+. I brought it on a beach camping trip and loved knowing that I didn't have to worry about getting it wet or dirty. Peace of mind with keeping tech safe outdoors is underrated! Promising review: "This is a must-have for anyone who needs off-grid charging! I also have the solar charger that is actually impressive,e keeping it charged. A bit expensive but you have to pay more for the quality." —scottGet it from Amazon for $66.99 (available in three colors). A Kula Cloth, aka the most amazing reusable pee rag money can buy. It has a waterproof external layer (that's the pretty printed one), an antimicrobial ~wiping~ side, and snaps that keep the cloth closed when you're not using it. If you're tired of doing a weird pee dance or dealing with straight-up damp underwear after going in the woods, here is the long-awaited solution! If you didn't know, now you know. Yeah, the Kula Cloth is life changing if peeing in the woods gets you down. It's also super useful for general travel if you're traveling anywhere with an unreliable TP situation. There's also a little loop on the corner so you can just carabiner it to the outside of your pack if you're backpacking. Ya know how people who drive Jeeps nod at each other on the road? People with Kula Cloths in their packs nod to each other on the trail. It's a thing. Promising review: "I started purchasing Kula Cloths long ago, before they were available at REI. I'm so thrilled to see them here, and I highly encourage everyone to get one of these. If you spend any amount of time outside, backpacking or just hiking and walking, you need this! It cuts down on waste, forces you to leave no trace in that regard, and it is honestly 10x better than TP anyway. I've taken this on many backpacking trips, and it's so convenient to grab off your bag, use, and reclip. I will regularly wash it in creeks or streams as needed and leave it to dry on the pack. Every aspect of the cloth is well thought out and functional. It literally could not be any better for its intended purpose. I have three already! If you aren't already, follow Kula on Instagram. The creators of Kula are two hilarious and passionate women who happen to be sisters, and they bring serious joy to the outdoor community." —KikiGet it from REI for $20 (available in six patterns). A LifeStraw personal water filter if you need a little peace of mind for a "just in case" water filtration situation. This little device allows you to safely drink from any water source and is small enough to tote along anywhere. The straw's microfiltration membrane eliminates bacteria and parasites so you can safely drink from any available water source without if you're immunocompromised, be sure to read all the package instructions to make sure it's safe for review: "Was the perfect gift this Christmas. If you are an outdoorsman and like to hunt, camp, and or hike than this is a must-have item. It is lightweight and an easy way to ensure you have safe water should you need it. Anyone looking into making a survivalist bag should buy this." —ObjGet it from Amazon for $17.49+ (available in three colors). Or a Sawyer Squeeze water filtration system that's adaptable and easy to use in almost any situation, planned or not. I've encountered some pretty sad excuses for water sources and have still been able to get liquid into the bag to be filtered and safely consumed. The set comes with one squeeze screw-on water filter, two 32-ounce collapsible pouches, one replaceable pop-up drinking spout, and one syringe filter cleaner. It weighs three ounces. It removes bacteria such as salmonella, cholera, and E. coli, as well as protozoa such as Giardia and Cryptosporidium.I adore this water filter for its ease of use, adaptability, small size, and zero wait time. Just fill the bag, screw on the filter, and roll the bag to squeeze the filtered water into your bottle. You don't need to wait for it to be done like with water treatment pills or gravity systems, and there's no funky taste — just fresh, clean, crisp water. If even the bag-filling situation sounds like it would take too much time, you can also screw the filter DIRECTLY ONTO A WATER BOTTLE and drink straight from it. Game changing. Either way, it's a quick, lightweight system that I completely recommend. Note: if you're immunocompromised, be sure to read all the package instructions to make sure it's safe for review: "Excellent product and a must-have while going hiking or camping where there's no clean water available. Because you can squeeze water through the filter, it takes no time for you get get drinkable water. Back flushing helps keep the life of the filter longer and comes with a syringe to back flush. I recommend using distilled water if your faucet has hard water. You can also attach a SmartWater bottle with the athletic nipple to back flush or filter." —HarlieGet it from Amazon for $44.79. *OR* a Katadyn BeFree 3-liter microfilter for anyone who's tired of putting in the elbow grease with filters that require squeezing and just want to let gravity do its thing. With the BeFree, all you need to do is fill the bag, let it hang, and let your newly cleaned water flow into the vessels of your choice. The reservoir you put dirty water in holds 3 liters of water, and it filters at a rate of 2 liters per minute. Whoa, that's faster than I thought! Maybe it's time I finally try one! Backpackers love this system, but they'd also be great for car camping trips where you have access to nice, running mountain water. Sure, you could pack your own, but drinking the water you find in the backcountry really is a special experience, especially when you have confidence it's safe to drink after treatment. Promising review: "Only used once in 50 degrees. Stream was clean, running fast, and filled the bladder in seven seconds. Flow rate was perfect for my needs. Perfect holding points especially at intake side for submerging. First, BeFree, so will see how long it lasts with a good flow rate. I'll likely carry an extra filter if out solo. Weight is perfect for the benefit. Last thing I want to do is squeeze a bag for my water after a long hike and setting up camp. Now I know why I see a lot of gravity filters are hanging. The holding strap was a bit much for my needs unless someone uses it as a shoulder-carrying strap. I changed that up." —DilfGet it from Backcountry for $79.95. A 20-liter soft cooler to keep your tasty picnic, camp dinner, beach lunch — anything! — nice and cold until it's ready to enjoy while you enjoy your time in the sun. Cracking a can of Coke after a hike? No better feeling. Promising review: "Needed a cooler for drinks and snacks for long drives and weekend camping trips. Have found myself using this for all sorts of things, including tossing any frozen or refrigerated food from the grocery store. This thing does a great job (as with all coolers, it works way better if you pre-chill it) and is easy to open and close and carry." —centexflyGet it from REI for $129.95 (available in two colors). An inflatable sleeping pad so at long last you can finally get a good night's sleep outdoors. Fully inflatable pads are especially good for all my fellow side-sleepers out there who tend to wake up with hip pain on other types of pads. Those days are behind you thanks to this wonder, which sneaks in at just under 1 pound. Heads up, the R-value (a fancy measurement of how insulating the sleeping pad is) of this sleeping pad is pretty low at 1.4, which is all to say that this pad will be best used in the summer! During the spring and fall, you might get a little chilly during the night unless you layer it over a closed-cell foam pad or another insulating ground layer. But when the weather is super warm, you're good to go. The more you know! Promising review: "I freaking love this mat. I have a lot of back problems and needed a second mat that would be nice, lightweight, and not too hard, but not just foam. Oh my gosh, this is a great mat and a great price. So easy to inflate, and I was able to get it packed up easily, too. Really light. I only have a 40-liter pack and it took up very little room. Highly recommend. It is super long and wide enough to sprawl out a bit and supportive enough to side sleep. I pair it with a thin soft foam roll I found at a thrift store, and it feels like a bed." —AmeliaGet it from Backcountry for $54. A pair of Darn Tough Micro Crew Cushion Socks that famously come with a lifetime guarantee, because they're that confident they'll serve you well. I finally got my first pair of Darn Toughs this year, and I LOVE THEM! The heels and toes are perfectly cushioned, the merino wool blend isn't scratchy at all, and they're, tough! Look at me walkin' around on that campground gravel! Hot tip for my hiking girlies with muscular calves: my life changed the day I started just ordering socks in men's sizes! I'm a shoe size 8.5 and find that a men's M in these socks sits great. Not too big in the foot while leaving ample room for my legs as I FLEX UP THAT MOUNTAIN, BABYYYYYYY! Promising review: "After switching to Darn Tough socks for my hiking needs, I will never switch back. They are durable, comfortable, and backed by an industry-leading lifetime guarantee (pretty ridiculous, really — I don't know how they stay in business). As a person who is on his feet all day for work and all weekend camping and hiking, my favorite aspect of Darn Tough socks is that I never think about my socks. There's no reason. They don't slip down, they don't bunch up, they don't make my feet too warm or cold. Simply the best socks. The expense is worth it for the quality of the socks alone. Then, when you look at the return policy, the investment in these socks becomes a no-brainer. I'm a convert for life." —Patrick FGet them from Amazon for $24.99+ for men's sizes (available in sizes S–XXL and eight colors) and $25.95 for women's sizes (available in sizes S–L and seven colors). An Osprey Aura AG 65-liter pack so you can hit the ol' dusty trail with everything you need in a supportive, cushioned pack that has all the special features you need, but not so many that it weighs you down. With a suspended mesh back, plenty of pockets, and a comfortable hip belt, there's nothing I don't adore about this pack. I call it my "Cadillac." ^That's me with the slightly older model on my first backpacking trip!Osprey's known for making exceptional packs for all kinds of journeys, and the Aura is no exception. It has a separated sleeping bag compartment, a huge mesh pocket on the outside for camp shoes and immediate needs, snack pockets on the hip belt, a whistle on the chest strap, large water bottle holders on each side, loops for trekking poles or an ice axe, sleeping pad straps, and compression straps to get your weight distributed *just* so. But best of all, a ton of these features are unclippable/removable if you're not using them and don't want the extra weight — because it adds up! I took the "brain" off my pack — a separate large compartment that goes over the pack's top — but it's included if you want it. I find that this pack's weight distributes very comfortably — at least as comfortably as it can be — and the cushions on the waist strap really did the trick. No bruising or even chafing, even on my first trip! Picking a pack is personal, especially since everyone has different intentions, needs, and bodies, but with how customizable this pack is, I'd recommend it to almost anyone. This was my first ever pack and it really helped me ease into the idea of ummm carrying everything I need, which is daunting! This is an extremely comfortable intro. I found the 65 to be a good size for starting out with larger/heavier beginner gear, but if you're going for a shorter trip, a summer trip where you have less bulk, or are already a lightweight packing pro, it also comes in a 50-liter review: "I bought this last year and am still very happy with my purchase. It has all the room I need, even when I carry a bear canister. It sits nicely on my hips, so I have no sore back at the end of the day. I couldn't ask for a better pack." —BobbieGet it from REI for $340 (available in sizes XS–L and two colors; the Aura is technically a "women's" pack, but you can check out the "men's" version called the Atmos here). A quick-drying camping towel that will come in handy way more than you expect. Yes it's nice to have if you know you're going to go for a river dip, but for unexpected rain, annoying spills, or even wiping sand or dirt off your feet, it's also a superstar. Promising review: "I needed a towel that didn't take up much space for camping purposes. I didn't expect it to be great, but as long as it got the worst off, I would have been happy. BUT THIS TOWEL IS AMAZING. I've been using it as my everyday towel just because it's THAT GOOD. I'm dry with almost no effort. It's truly amazing. Very happy camper coming your way." —Tracy NGet it from Amazon for $19.99+ (available in four colors, three sizes, and multipacks). A GSI Outdoors Crossover Kitchen Kit so all the fiddly little extras you want to pack as the designated camp chef are all ready to go in one convenient, lightweight package. Prep and cleanup will be especially improved. Lookin' at you, cutting board and scrubby pad. The kit includes the following: compact scraper, scrubby pad, cutting board, pivot tongs, pivot spoon, pivot spatula, spicer, soap bottle, oil bottle, camp towel, and totePromising review: "This was a gift from my partner, and I thought it was a bit silly at first. However, it is well thought out, and I have used it several times. From the quick overnight backpacking trip when you want to do more than rehydrate a meal, to 10 days of car camping with a group of strangers, this thing has saved the day several times. It has everything you need and nothing extra, although I've added a pot scraper and a folding wash basin. The bottles are a pain to clean if you leave oil in them for an extended time, but they are also easy to replace if necessary. I've heard some folks complain about durability, but I've had this set for two years now without a problem." —orgidie1812045Get it from Backcountry for $39.95. A fire-starting necklace that features an ambidextrous steel striker and a ferrocerium rod for creating fire as quickly possible. Holding the ability to create flame right around your neck... What power! What responsibility! A Stanley cook set for two equipped with a stainless-steel pot and two nesting cups (that can double as bowls, of course). Your signature meal of instant ramen with fun and funky toppings is served. An REI Co-Op Base Camp 4 Tent so you and your camping crew have the perfect place to lay your heads at night, safe from the elements and ready for anything. Two big doors provide excellent ventilation and ensure you don't need to crawl over sleeping friends to get in and out and big ol' vestibules give you the perfect place to put extra gear. A good rule of thumb for how many folks can fit in a tent is the number of people listed squished all together *or* that number minus one with room to spread out and for review: "Unlike some others, I have found the Base Camp 4 to be almost perfect for my base camping needs. I use the Base Camp 4 for one week trips star gazing. This tent has aluminum poles, geodesic design and sleeves. It doesn't get stronger than that. Winds have been between dead calm to 35mph gusts. On one Florida Keys trip, winds were sustained at 25 mph and the Base Camp was steady even without guy lines. I use the guy lines for winds higher than that, especially the previously mentioned gusts. The Base Camp 4 has also served well in 20 degree weather and torrential sideways rains. I've not had any difficulty securing the top vents. You do have to be gentle with normal use. After all, it is just a tent. Don't force the poles during set up and use a floor saver tarp inside. If you're rough with your stuff, you'll have wear issues. If you take care of your equipment, you'll enjoy your Base Camp a long time." —Analog SywatcherGet it from REI for $474. A basic tarp that'll come in handy in more ways than you can imagine, but for starters as a tent footprint, shady cover for your picnic table, or a little rain shelter if you're in a pinch. Promising review: "This is a tarp. Buy for your tarping needs, exactly what I wanted from my tarp. Inexpensive and blocks water. Bought mine to use under my tent and am very happy with it, while not being worried about its well-being at all times." —mikeGet it from Amazon for $11.69+ (available in four sizes). A Garmin inReach Mini 2 to help you stay in touch with loved ones or in case of emergency when you're out in the backwoods with no cellphone service. A huge relief to have for hikers of all kinds, especially if you love nothing more than a good solo trip. To use the Garmin on your trip, the device requires a monthly service fee of $14.99+ (or $11.99+ if you opt for an annual contract). But don't worry, if you're just planning on one trip, the monthly plan only requires a 30-day commitment, so you can bail after your hike and reactivate the next time you go on an adventure. Promising review: "What you need! This was absolutely PERFECT for our backpacking trip on Isle Royale. We were there for five days and hiked over 60 miles! It was perfect! When we were there, we even ran into a ranger who said they were very glad to see we had one since they had just finished up a missing person search who got separated from her hiking partner." —Samuel A. ForemanGet it from Amazon for $299.99+ (available in two colors). A set of marshmallow (or hot dog!) roasting sticks that telescope all the way out to 34 inches for campfire time. Promising review: "This is the hat I've been looking for! Getting older and needing some shade on my noggin', face, and neck. I've purchased a few other hats but this one is the most comfortable, breathable, and covers my neck and long nose too. The wife says it looks good on me and she's picky!" —Danny DoradoGet it from REI for $99 (available in sizes 7–8 and five colors). An under-$20 Black Diamond headlamp so you can light your path hands-free at camp, read tucked in your sleeping bag, and to bring *just in case* on long hikes. It even has dimming and strobe settings. Huzzah! The headlamp requires 3 AAA review: "I needed a new headlamp as my other just wore out. I looked at the super expensive ultra-bright ones, but took a chance on this good one as it was more reasonably priced. I'm glad I chanced it. This headlamp is comfortable, durable, and very bright. This is exactly what I was hoping for. I've never been disappointed by Black Diamond." —P HyattGet it from REI for $24.95 (available in three colors). A portable, hand-operated espresso machine that whips up the good stuff (yes, even the crema!) using just a little bit of boiling water and a pump mechanism — no electricity or stove top required. *Swoon* A Soto Windmaster backpacking stove I've long heard amazing things about and can confirm TOTALLY rules. This thing boils water in a snap, has an built-in piezo lighter that lights super easily, and the temperature control is smooth as can be. And all weighing in at just 3.1 ounces. I thought all backpacking stoves were basically created equal, but that was before I encountered this beauty. Thanks, Mom and Dad, for getting this for me for Christmas this year! Holy shmo, I really was out here thinking that most stoves were the same, but was totally proven wrong when I finally got to take the Soto Windmaster for a spin. I was using a decade-plus-old backpacking stove. No shade. I loved that thing, and "use what you have" is a really important attitude to have and share around gear. You don't need every new gadget. BUT! I'm really happy to say that this stove is a distinct step up. It weighs a whisper, and even though the fold-out prongs and temperature dial are tiny, they feel relatively sturdy, especially when folded in. I was shocked at how quickly water boiled for me. I didn't time it, I was busy, uhhhh, enjoying my life, but it was noticeably faster than my old one. I love the built-in piezo igniter. Just so nice to know that if I forget a lighter, I'm not up a creek, and unlike my old stove, I really only had to click it once for it to ignite. Can't wait to put a decade on this stove! Promising review: "Soto makes great products and the Windmaster is no exception. It's powerful (11,000 BTUs) and capable of doing so much more than just boil water. If all you're going to do is rehydrate meals, then this stove is probably overkill for you and you should just get a generic BRS stove, but if you want to do even basic cooking on the trail, then this stove will more than meet your needs. I also really appreciate the regulator on it so you don't lose much efficiency when using it in colder weather." —RobGet it from Amazon for $69.95. A lantern and fan hybrid that's as close as you're gonna get to sweet, sweet AC in the woods. I cannot help but stan a mini ceiling fan gadget, it's just so cute and helpful. Promising review: "I love it. It gives off a ton of light. I didn't know honestly how well the fan would work but i was really impressed. I hung it from my tent and was easy to use and did what I needed it to do. I would recommend this item to anyone that needs an inexpensive fan and light. The battery life is better than what is stated on the box." —Amazon CustomerGet it from Amazon for $20.99.

What to stream: Get to know films of Ari Aster and Jennifer Kaytin Robinson

Two exciting young genre filmmakers have films out in theaters this weekend: Ari Aster, with the contemporary Western 'Eddington,' which he wrote and directed, and Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, with 'I Know What You Did Last Summer,' a remake of the 1997 teen horror classic, which she directed and co-wrote with Sam Lansky and Leah McKendrick. Aster has carved out a name for himself as an auteur of artfully directed horror films that deal with family trauma in surprising and disturbing ways, while Robinson has put her stamp on smart and sassy pop projects with large ensemble casts. Check out their filmographies on streaming before you head to the theater this weekend, to see what their work is all about. Aster first made his mark with his debut feature 'Hereditary,' a terrifying horror film about a trauma that befalls a family, and the strange, even supernatural events that come out of it. Toni Collette and Gabriel Byrne star as parents Annie and Steve, with Alex Wolff and Milly Shapiro as their children. If you still haven't seen 'Hereditary,' the less you know, the better. Rent it on iTunes or Amazon. He followed that up with the folk horror breakup movie 'Midsommar,' starring Florence Pugh and Jack Reynor as a couple whose relationship is on the rocks when they travel to Sweden with a friend, and discover that the midsommar festivities they're attending take place within a strange cult. It's a must-see in the Aster oeuvre. Rent it on iTunes or Amazon. Aster's daring third feature 'Beau Is Afraid' strayed from the traditional horror genre, incorporating different storytelling elements into this sprawling and absurdist family dramedy, about one very anxious man, Beau (Joaquin Phoenix), embarking on a harrowing journey to get home to see his mother (Patti LuPone). You simply have to see it for yourself. Stream 'Beau Is Afraid' on HBO Max, Paramount+, or rent it on other platforms. Robinson created the MTV revenge series 'Sweet/Vicious' about a pair of college student vigilantes who target sexual assailants, and wrote and directed the ensemble Netflix breakup rom-com 'Someone Great,' starring Gina Rodriguez, Brittany Snow, DeWanda Wise and LaKeith Stanfield. Stream 'Someone Great' on Netflix. After writing the abortion road trip buddy comedy 'Unpregnant' (streaming on HBO Max), and co-writing 'Thor: Love and Thunder' (streaming on Disney+), Robinson continued to work with Netflix for her second feature. The snappy high school-set 'Do Revenge' is loosely based on the Patricia Highsmith novel 'Strangers on a Train,' and the Hitchcock film of the same name, but is also made in the mold of classics like 'Heathers' and 'Clueless.' 'Do Revenge' stars Camila Mendes and Maya Hawke and is streaming on Netflix. --- Copyright (C) 2025, Tribune Content Agency, LLC. Portions copyrighted by the respective providers.
