A multi-agency search operation has been launched for a missing swimmer off the Co Donegal coast.
A member of the public raised the alarm shortly before 4pm on Saturday that there were people in difficulty in Lough Swilly near Buncrana.

One person was taken from the water and brought to hospital by ambulance during the incident believed to involve three teenagers.
One swimmer is still missing, authorities said.
The search is being led by the Coast Guard, supported by a helicopter from Sligo.
The Donegal North units of An Garda Síochána and the ambulance service are also at the scene.

The RNLI said they were also supporting the search.
'Malin Head Coast Guard are co-ordinating a search for a missing swimmer off Buncrana, Co Donegal,' a spokeswoman for the Department of Transport said.
'An alert was raised shortly before 4pm by a member of the public who reported that there were a number of persons in difficulty in the water.

'Greencastle & Mulroy Coast Guard Units were tasked along with both Lough Swilly RNLI lifeboats and the Coast Guard helicopter Rescue 118 from Sligo.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward. Road users who were travelling on this stretch of the N71 around the time of the collision and who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) are asked to make it available to investigating gardaí. Alan Colquhoun, 83, is believed to have been with members of his family when he fell overboard on Thursday afternoon. ‌ Police and Coastguard have also been involved in the search for Mr Colquhoun, the dad-of-three who is the former owner of The Lodge on Loch Lomond Hotel. ‌ A source said the area has been swarming with police and search teams since the alarm was raised. They said: 'Divers have been out constantly every day since Thursday. There's police everywhere. 'They've never left the loch since the man went missing. 'It seems like they've been all over the place constantly since Thursday but still haven't been able to find him. 'A helicopter was also flying above the loch at one point. 'We haven't heard much about it but the search is still very much ongoing. ‌ 'We've also heard they're meant to be bringing in some kind of submarine in the morning to try and locate the man if he hasn't been found by then.' It is now owned and run by his son Niall and his wife Ann. The hotel was still open for business yesterday despite the ongoing search. ‌ A member of staff who answered the phone at the hotel refused to comment when called by the Record. The Colquhoun family is believed to have gone out on the loch on a boat from Freedom Boat Club at nearby Ardlui Marina. A spokesman there said: 'We can't comment as an investigation is still ongoing. ‌ 'Nobody has been found yet.' A Police Scotland spokesperson said: 'Around 12.35pm on Thursday, 26 June, we received a report of an 83-year-old man entering the water in Loch Lomond near Isle of Inchlonaig. ‌ 'Police and partner agencies attended and extensive searches are ongoing. 'Local officers have been assisted by our Dive and Marine Unit and Air Support Unit. 'Officers are continuing to keep the man's family updated.'

A BODY has been found in the search for a missing teen after a major search operation at a coastal beauty spot. Several emergency services and organisations had been searching for the boy since he initially went missing at a Lincolnshire beach. 2 2 Officers were called to Anderby Creek, between Skegness and Mablethorpe, on the afternoon of Saturday, June 28. RNLI lifeboats, HM Coastguard, helicopters and police drones were all deployed as part of the extensive search. A body was found in the early hours of Sunday morning, according to Lincolnshire Police. In a statement, the force said: "We are saddened to report that a body was found in the early hours of this morning in the search for a teenager who had been reported missing from Anderby Creek. "Several emergency services and organisations had been searching for the boy since the initial call was made at 2.49pm on Saturday, 28 June. "We would like to thank the public's help in allowing emergency services to respond to the incident. "Our thoughts at this time are with the boy's family." A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Community Assistance Team (L-CAT) said: "We're really saddened to hear the news that a body was discovered this morning following yesterday's reports of a missing child in the sea. "Several L-CAT responders were deployed yesterday to aid the search at Anderby Creek, supporting colleagues from Lincolnshire Police, HM Coastguard Skegness, HM Coastguard Wrangle, RNLI Skegness, RNLI Lifeguards Lincolnshire and East Midlands Ambulance Service. "Our condolences go to the boy's family and friends at this incredibly difficult time." Anderby Creek is a small holiday village known for its caravan parks and holiday retreats.
