Tributes to Blood Bike 'hero' who died in A478 crash in Pembrokeshire
One tribute read: "So sad, a great man doing voluntary work for such a good cause."
Another commented: "Rest in peace blood angel", while another posted: "Died while helping others" and another simply wrote:"RIP hero!".
Blood Bikes Wales is one of 36 UK volunteer-run blood bike groups that provide a vital, free service to the NHS by transporting blood, organs, medication and other medical supplies.
Following the crash on the A478 between Glandy Cross and Blaenffos at 6.25pm on Wednesday evening, July 2, Dyfed-Powys Police have issued an appeal for dashcam footage or information from anyone who was travelling along the route at that time.

The rider, who died at the scene, has not yet been named by police. His family are being supported by specialist officers.
'It's a stark reminder that volunteers put their lives on the line daily to perform this vital service for the NHS,' Merseyside & Cheshire Blood Bikes posted on Facebook.
The group was one of many organisations and individuals sending condolences to the man's loved ones and Blood Bikes Blood Bikes 'family'.
'Thank you for your service,' the Merseyside group added.
Bloodrun Energency Voluntary Service, Blood Bikes North East, sent their condolences 'at an incredibly difficult time' and added: "This tragic news is a stark reminder of the risks that blood bike & blood car volunteers across the UK take every day."
Midland Freewheelers Blood Bikes said they were 'deeply saddened' to hear of the loss of the Welsh rider.
They added: "Thank you for your service. On behalf of us all, we send our heartfelt condolences to your family, friends and Blood Bike family. Rest easy'.
Dyfed-Powys Police said following the crash: 'One man, aged 56, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He remains in police custody.
"The road was closed overnight while specialist collision investigators carried out their enquiries. It re-opened at 6.45am on Thursday July 3."

Some parents were concerned the man had been taking photographs or recording children at the park. But officers found he was not in possession of such devices after searching him. According to South Wales Police, the 34-year-old was arrested on Thursday (July 3). The man, of no fixed abode, has been charged with attempted kidnap and two public order offences and remanded in custody. Police are now appealing to witness for more information. A spokesperson for the South Wales force said: "Just before midday on Thursday, July 3, officers attended Victoria Park, Cardiff, following a number of calls which raised concerns about a man's behaviour in the splash park area. "Moynul Janu, 34, of no fixed abode has been charged with two counts of attempted kidnap and two counts of public order and has been remanded in police custody. "Some people were concerned he had been taking photographs or recording children, but we can confirm when officers searched him, he was not in possession of any such devices. A 21-year-old man is in a serious condition and is being treated in a major trauma centre following the incident. North Wales Police say they have arrested four people in relation to the incident. An appeal has been launched for anyone who saw the incident, which involved a pedestrian and a Vauxhall Corsa, to come forward. They believe many who left the Olly Murs gig, held as part of the Llangollen International Eisteddfod, may have been in the area at the time, and are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, or with dashcam footage, to come forward. The replacement prop had only been on the field for a minute when he was sent to the sin-bin for an illegal ruck clear out on openside flanker Noa Traversier, which left the Frenchman screaming in pain. After an off-field review, Trevett was judged to be deserving of a 20-minute red card, with Wales conceding 14 points and falling to defeat as they saw out the game with 14 men. A statement from World Rugby on Saturday read: "An Independent Foul Play Review Committee (FPRC) has convened to consider a sanction for Louie Trevett (Wales). Trevett received a red card during the France v Wales match in the World Rugby U20 Championship match at the Stadio Mario Battaglini in Rovigo. "The independent FPRC has confirmed a three-match suspension to Trevett after determining an action contrary to Law 9.20(e) (dropping weigh or targeting lower limbs) during the Wales match against France on 4 July, 2025. The sanction has been accepted by the player. Article continues below "In determining the sanction, the FPRC reviewed the matter, including all submissions and footage, determined that Trevett's actions were contrary to Law 9.20(e) (dangerous clear out), in that the action was reckless, the action was dangerous to the victim player, but that the involvement of another player contributed to the offending action. "The Committee decided the incident warranted a mid-range entry point of 6 matches. The FPRC decided to propose a three-match suspension taking all factors into account. The player has accepted the sanction." Trevett will now miss Wales' pool stage match against Spain next week, as well as the two further knockout matches they are set to play at the tournament. Farrell cries foul By Duncan Bech, PA Rugby Correspondent, Sydney Andy Farrell suggested the Allianz Stadium pitch had been deliberately watered to assist the New South Wales Waratahs as his British and Irish Lions toiled to an ugly 21-10 victory. The Lions produced comfortably their worst performance of the tour two weeks out from the first Test against the Wallabies with Huw Jones' two tries and an important touch down by Alex Mitchell among the few highlights. Sydney was hit by a "bomb cyclone" earlier in the week, leading to heavy rain and gale force winds, but Farrell suspected skulduggery from the Waratahs in an attempt to even up the game. And a conversation with Mike Catt, one of Farrell's coaching lieutenants with Ireland who is now in charge of the Waratahs' attack, appeared to confirm his suspicions. "There's a bit of frustration there.
